Andrew Bogut (ankle) hopes to resume practicing on Monday, and he is targeting a return on Saturday, December 1st.

Bogut hasn't played or practiced in over two weeks, having vowed to rest until his ankle felt 100 percent healthy. Hopefully that means he'll be able to comfortably log 30+ minutes upon his return, and owners in deeper formats should start thinking about stashing him. Everyone else may want to wait until we've seen him make it through a few games.

Tristan Thompson scored three points on Wednesday, going 0-of-5 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line, but he also secured a season-high 20 rebounds in 34 minutes of action.

Thompson added two steals, one block, one assist and zero turnovers, and his work on the glass was instrumental in the Cavs' 126-94 victory. Although he'll never offer much upside, Thompson remains a rock-steady source of boards, blocks and FG percentages. As a bonus for 9-cat owners, he turns the ball over just 0.5 times per game.

LeBron James made a statement vs. the Knicks on Wednesday, racking up 25 points (7-of-10 FGs, 10-of-14 FTs) with seven assists, six rebounds, two blocks, one steal and one 3-pointer.

James relishes playing in Madison Square Garden, where his career 28.5 points per game rank third all-time behind Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. He had extra juice tonight due to a simmering feud with Phil Jackson, whom LBJ proceeded to stare down while leading his team to a commanding early lead. Follow the link for one of his many vicious dunks tonight.

Patrick Beverley tied his career-high with 12 assists on Wednesday, adding 10 points, seven rebounds, three steals and a pair of 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Bev shot 4-of-9 from the field and his five turnovers are the only smudge on an otherwise pristine line. One of his caveats in fantasy leagues has always been a lack of assists from the PG position, but so far this season he's averaging a career-high 3.9 dimes per game, which should hit four per game after tonight. Pick him up if you need a guard.
Dec 8 - 12:30 AM

Eric Gordon's sprained ankle didn't bother him on Wednesday, as he came off the bench for 26 points with a season-high eight 3-pointers, four boards and two assists in just 24 minutes of action.

Gordon scored 12 of the Rockets' season-high 43 first-quarter points, and all but one of his 13 field goal attempts came from downtown tonight. He's found a perfect niche as a 3-point gunner leading Houston's second unit, and his 3.2 triples per game have staked him to top-80 value on the season.
Dec 8 - 12:29 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo triple-doubled again during a 115-107 win over the Blazers on Wednesday, scoring 15 points with 12 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals and four blocks.

That's triple-double No. 2 on the season. While the points, assists and board are cool for Russell Westbrook, Antetokounmpo has been absurd on the defensive stats with 2.2 blocks and 2.3 steals per game. Only David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon and Gerald Wallace have averaged 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals in a season. Giannis' high dimes tonight also gets him over the 6.0 per game threshold. He's currently the No. 3 player in standard leagues and isn't going anywhere for a long, long time.
Dec 8 - 12:00 AM

Jabari Parker scored 27 points against the Blazers on Wednesday, adding three rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

He's not just scoring at the rim anymore. Over his last nine, only 44.9 percent of his shots have been at the rim. He hasn't really shot the ball too well over that span with a 48.6 percent field goal percentage, averaging 19.8 points, 5.0 boards, 1.2 steals and 1.2 treys. Parker has posted sixth-round value on the season and could improve on that going forward.
Dec 7 - 11:48 PM

Wilson Chandler had another big game on Wednesday with 27 points, 15 rebounds and six 3-pointers in 35 minutes, sinking 10-of-24 field goals with one steal and two turnovers.

It was too little, too late for the Nuggets tonight, but at least they showed some fight after getting outscored 68-52 in the first half. Chandler has been awesome this season and his versatility makes him almost immune to shifting rotations in Denver, which seem inevitable in light of coach Mike Malone's comment that he'll "look at starting groups and combinations."
Dec 7 - 11:25 PM

Emmanuel Mudiay was benched extensively in the second half of Wednesday's road loss, finishing with just six points (2-of-10 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, one assist and 18 minutes.

"We have to look at everything," a frustrated Mike Malone said after the game. "We’ll look at starting groups and combinations." Jameer Nelson played point guard during the Nuggets' late run, with help from Jamal Murray, and this is the last thing Mudiay's owners wanted to hear. He averaged just 21.5 minutes in Denver's two previous games, and there are no guarantees that he'll be starting vs. John Wall and the Wizards on Thursday.
Dec 7 - 11:24 PM

Kenneth Faried was benched four minutes into the first quarter on Wednesday, finishing with just four points and five rebounds in 12 minutes.

Mike Malone confirmed that Faried wasn't injured and that his benching was "more of a coach's decision." Faried did re-enter the game in the second half, but not before Malone was tossed for arguing with the refs. The Nuggets' starting lineup of Faried, Jusuf Nurkic, Danilo Gallinari, Will Barton and Emmanuel Mudiay had a -27.2 net rating in 54 minutes this season, which was Denver’s worst lineup (minimum 20 minutes together). Malone is still searching for answers, obviously, and it would be surprising if Faried weren't benched in favor of Darrell Arthur vs. the Wizards on Thursday.
Dec 7 - 11:22 PM

Jusuf Nurkic was benched for the final 22 minutes of Wednesday's ugly road loss in Brooklyn, finishing with 11 points, three rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes.

Nurkic was coming off a decent game on Monday, but he didn't endear himself to coach Mike Malone with more atrocious defense tonight (click the link below for a comical failed close-out on a Brook Lopez triple). The Nets scored in the paint at will in the first half, prompting Malone to say that his team played with "no fight." The fact that Nikola Jokic looked good tonight doesn't help Nurkic, and it will be fascinating to watch what happens to Denver's rotation on Thursday.
Dec 7 - 11:21 PM

Paul Millsap (hip) scored 21 points on 8-of-12 FGs and 5-of-6 FTs during Wednesday's 103-95 win vs. the Heat, adding nine boards, two assists, four steals and three blocks in 32 minutes.

Millsap admitted before the game that his hip still hurts, saying that he's "just playing through and seeing what happens. Hopefully, getting better." That's not entirely encouraging for fantasy owners, but tonight's vintage-Sapper production was a terrific indication that he's feeling better. There's no reason to think he's in imminent danger of missing games.
