LaMarcus Aldridge (stiff back) will not play on Sunday against the Brooklyn Nets.

This is a huge blow for fantasy owners on a Sunday and also a big surprise. Aldridge has dealt with a wrist injury, but the back spasms are something that can linger all season. His owners should stay tuned to see if he'll be able to give it a go for the four-game week. Meyers Leonard would take over as the starting power forward.

Paul George limped to the locker room with less than one minute remaining in the fourth quarter on Friday.

He had an awkward landing on his right leg and had a trainer come out to look at him while he was standing. George eventually went to the bench and had a trainer look at him while he was grimacing for about two minutes, but then limped to the locker room with about 30 seconds left. We should have an update on George in the post-game.He finished with just nine points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.
Feb 24 - 9:21 PM

Pau Gasol (hand) will come off the bench on Friday vs. the Clippers.

He's been out since Jan. 19, so this move is designed to limit Gasol's minutes in his first game back. Make sure he's not sitting on the waiver wire even though he has taken a noticeable step back in terms of fantasy value this season. Dewayne Dedmon will draw the start at least one more time, but he's an easy drop candidate.
Feb 24 - 9:16 PM

Chris Paul (thumb) will return to the lineup to face the Spurs on Friday night.

He's back. CP3 tweeted out that he was going to return for this game, so this isn't a surprise despite the questionable tag. He has done some conditioning while he's been out and he was cleared a couple days ago, so there's no reason to think he'll have a hard limit. Austin Rivers and Ray Felton will take a backseat.
Feb 24 - 8:53 PM

The Pelicans will waive injured forward Omri Casspi in order to sign Reggie Williams.

Casspi is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a broken thumb, but this is still a bit surprising. We wouldn't expect another team to sign Casspi while he's on the shelf, so leave him on the wire. Reggie Williams likely won't have much value either and this should give Solomon Hill a slight boost.
Feb 24 - 8:12 PM

Danilo Gallinari (groin) and Kenneth Faried (ankle) will play on Friday vs. the Nets.

The Nuggets will list their injured players as probable for up to week after they return, so Gallo wasn't in real danger of missing this one. He scored 15 points with six rebounds, four assists, one steal and two turnovers in 30 minutes against the Kings on Thursday and gets to look forward to a great matchup with the Nets.
Feb 24 - 7:38 PM

Alex Len is listed as the starter for Friday against the Bulls.

Well, it looks like the youth movement didn't take long for the Suns. General manager Ryan McDonough mentioned Len will be playing a lot more going forward as the team wants to get a look at Len before he becomes a restricted free agent. Plus, the GM said Tyson Chandler was "phenomenal" about his new role as being more of a coach for the young guys. If you need a big man, you might want to add Len.
Feb 24 - 7:28 PM

Rodney Hood (knee) will return to the starting lineup on Friday vs. Milwaukee and Joe Ingles will return to the bench.

Hood, who has been battling an assortment of injuries all year long, is averaging 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 3-pointers this season. He had missed seven straight games prior to Friday. Hood's return will limit the both Ingles and Joe Johnson's minutes.
Feb 24 - 7:25 PM

Serge Ibaka is starting on Friday vs. the Celtics.

The Raptors are missing Kyle Lowry (wrist), so we won't know for sure how involved Ibaka will be on the offensive end until Toronto is at full strength. Make sure he's in all lineups tonight.
Feb 24 - 7:18 PM

Cory Joseph will start for Kyle Lowry (wrist) against the Celtics on Friday night.

The Raptors will just throw their best point guard in the first unit with Delon Wright and Fred Vanvleet. Lowry had an X-ray on his wrist and will get more evaluation, so he could miss more action. Joseph is worth a look as a speculative add until Lowry gets the all clear.
Feb 24 - 7:16 PM

Victor Oladipo (back) will not play against the Lakers on Friday.

It will be his first game out of the lineup in the 2017 portion of the season. It's a little worrisome that Oladipo is out just after the All-Star break, especially after he logged 37 minutes in his last game on Feb. 15. With him out, Alex Abrines, Doug McDermott and maybe Semaj Christon benefit.
Feb 24 - 7:13 PM

Jaylen Brown (hip) will return to the starting lineup and Marcus Smart will move to the bench against the Raptors on Friday.

It'll be Isaiah Thomas, Brown, Jae Crowder, Amir Johnson and Al Horford. Brown played 24.5 minutes per game as a starting guard with just 9.0 points per game, so he's not really a great fantasy option. His return suggests Smart will be back around 30 minutes tonight.
