Mike Conley will not play in Monday's game due to flu-like symptoms.

Jerryd Bayless will start and we've seen what he can do in the past when given the minutes (if you don't remember he was a top-10 play for a stretch last season). We're not saying he'll do it again tonight, but he won't be shy and is an excellent spot-start. And by all means, don't drop Conley.

Evan Fournier (heel) said that he thinks he'll be able to suit up for Friday's game vs. the Hornets.

This isn't official, but things are looking positive for Fournier. If he does suit up, Willie Green would head back to the bench where he would go back to being irrelevant in all fantasy leagues. Stay tuned for an official update as we draw closer to Friday's tip.
Nov 21 - 11:10 AM

Tony Wroten has been moved into a sixth man role for the 76ers with the return of Michael Carter-Williams, but that doesn't mean head coach Brett Brown doesn't want to play the two together for extended stretches.

"I think for balance purposes, that’s how it needs to be," Brown said of his decision to bring Wroten off the bench. "Because [Wroten and MCW are] our best players, they need to be on the court… Inevitably it’s the direction we’re going to have to grow." Wroten's numbers are down since MCW's return, but he was still able to score 21 points off the bench, to go with seven assists and a steal during Wednesday's loss. His value will take a bit of a hit coming off the bench, but Wroten is still going to be worth owning in standard leagues. Just know that he's shooting 42.0 percent from the field, and 62.0 percent from the charity stripe on 7.2 attempts per game.

Alec Burks was challenged by head coach Quin Snyder recently to be more aggressive on the boards, and Burks responded with back-to-back double-digit rebounding games.

"Coach really challenged me one day in Toronto [to grab more rebounds]. Man to man, had a talk," Burks said. "He challenged me and I took that challenge." Burks finished Saturday's game vs. Toronto with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and followed up that performance by going for 20 points and 14 rebounds vs. the Thunder on Tuesday. Burks is averaging 14.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 three-pointer per game this year, and if he could just up his shooting percentage a bit (42.7 percent on the year), he'd quickly become a top-100 player.
Nov 21 - 8:53 AM

Darren Collison played terrific ball on both ends of the floor against the Bulls on Thursday during a 103-88 win with 17 points, six rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, one block and one turnover.

The Kings had a season-high 26 assists as a team tonight and had six players in double figures. They still rank 27th in the NBA for assists per game, but at least it's a step up from last in 2013-14. Collison has been a steal for his fantasy owners as a top-50 player despite sub-par shooting and it's become abundantly clear he has no competition for his starter's minutes.
Nov 21 - 2:03 AM

X-rays were negative on Kirk Hinrich's chest and he was diagnosed with a contusion following Thursday's game against the Kings.

He didn't play at the end of the game, but that doesn't necessarily mean his injury had anything to do with it. Hinrich finished with nine points, three rebounds, seven assists and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes. If he is going to miss time, Aaron Brooks would almost become a must add as the only healthy point guard who is in the rotation. E'Twaun Moore would also get in the rotation.
Nov 21 - 1:22 AM

Chris Paul had just one turnover in Thursday's 110-93 win over the Heat to go with 26 points, two rebounds, 12 assists, one steal and three 3-pointers on 8-of-13 from the field.

The Clippers put up 39 points in the first quarter with a magnificent offensive rating of 169.6. They were first in the NBA in that category last year, but they only rank sixth so far this year. As for Paul, he's been the No. 3 player in fantasy leagues so far on the season -- fitting for CP3.
Nov 20 - 11:55 PM

Blake Griffin had one of his best games of the season against the Heat on Thursday with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer on 12-of-18 from the field.

After a slow start, Griffin is starting to turn the corner over his last five with averages of 21.4 points, 7.8 boards, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.2 blocks on 53.8 percent from the field. On the down side, he is just 58.8 percent from the line in that span and dropped his season foul shooting below 70 percent for the first time all year.
Nov 20 - 11:50 PM

Updating a previous report, coach Kevin McHale is saying that the Rockets will probably be without Dwight Howard (knee) for Saturday's game vs. the Mavericks.

That means that Tarik Black will draw another start on Saturday, but he really doesn't do much aside from rebound. Dwight's minutes will likely be split up between Black, Donatas Motiejunas, and Kostas Papanikolaou. Kostas is coming off a 19-point game from Wednesday, and could make for a solid plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Stay tuned for an official update on Dwight's status, but have your Plan B in place as it's looking like he'll be unable to go.
Nov 20 - 7:31 PM

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Magic.

With P.J. Hairston (ankle) also sidelined, Gerald Henderson will likely draw another start and get all the minutes he can handle. Henderson is coming off a disappointing two rebound, zero-point dud from Wednesday, but he'll look to bounce-back with a favorable matchup vs. Orlando. MKG is considered day-to-day, but remains without an official return date.
Nov 20 - 7:15 PM

Gary Neal (concussion) is being listed as probable for Friday's game vs. the Magic.

Neal still needs to pass the leagues' concussion protocol, but it's looking like he's very close to making a return. He's averaging 12.2 points and 1.2 three-pointers per game this season, so he's worth a look for owners seeking a 3-point specialist upon his return. Just know that he's also shooting 39.8 percent from the field.
Nov 20 - 7:08 PM

Matt Barnes will again draw the start on Thursday as the Clippers take on the Heat.

Barnes looks to have won his starting job back, and has scored in double figures in two of his last three outings. Hopefully he can continue his solid play tonight, as he has a favorable matchup vs. the Heat. He's worth a speculative add in standard leagues for his ability to contribute to each category on the stat sheet.
