Chandler Parsons won't play Wednesday night due to a sore shoulder.

Parsons has been lighting it up, but this doesn't seem to be anything serious. Sit Parsons on Wednesday and we'll let you know if we hear any long-term prognosis. Marcus Morris will likely see more time with Parsons out.

Ricky Rubio (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Jazz on Monday.

There was some optimism on Rubio on Sunday, but the Wolves have changed their tune today. With Rubio likely out, Zach LaVine will start at point guard with Lorenzo Brown likely joining him in the backcourt. LaVine is worth owning in all leagues, Brown is worth a flier in deep leagues and Rubio can be cut in most formats.

Gorgui Dieng (concussion-like symptoms) will not play on Monday against the Jazz.

The Wolves are razor thin with their depth and it sounds like Sunday's injury will cost him multiple games. Dieng's fantasy owners are in a really bad spot with only two more games this week (Wednesday and Friday), so it's very tough to play him in a weekly league. Justin Hamilton would likely start and is worth owning in standard leagues.
Mar 30 - 2:01 PM

Rodney Stuckey (wrist) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nets.

Stuckey logged 30 minutes in Sunday's win over the Mavs while coming off a calf injury, but apparently he managed to add another injury in the process. If he's forced to sit out, C.J. Miles and C.J. Watson would both be the most direct beneficiaries.
Mar 30 - 1:57 PM

Hassan Whiteside (hand) will not be rushed back to action.

Whiteside continues to test out his injured hand to see how much he's capable of doing, but Erik Spoelstra said the team has no timetable and "it needs to heal a little more before we take the next step." The actual injury is a split in his right hand between the forefinger and ring finger, and fantasy owners are left in a bad spot as Whiteside continues to heal. With Chris Andersen (calf) also banged up, Udonis Haslem is locked into a major role right now.
Mar 30 - 1:51 PM

Derrick Rose (knee surgery) took full contact in practice on Monday.

It's a great sign for Rose and his eventual return this season. He took part in a full contact 4-on-4 scrimmage, and Tom Thibodeau said Rose looked winded afterward, but otherwise reported no ill effects. Rose previously said it would take him a week or two to get back into game action after being cleared for contact, so owners looking to stash him will want to think long and hard about all the DNPs he still has left to rack up. The Bulls play just three times in each of the next two weeks. Aaron Brooks owners: Take notice.
Mar 30 - 1:39 PM

Updating a previous item, Patrick Beverley has decided to have wrist surgery, and the procedure will end his season, a source told the Houston Chronicle.

It's a devastating blow to the Rockets as the team is paper-thin at point guard behind him. Rookie Nick Johnson and veterans Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni will look to fill the void, but none are real options for owners who have lost Beverley. MVP candidate James Harden will have even more to do as the Rockets close out the season in preparation for the playoffs.
Mar 30 - 1:34 PM

Ryan Anderson (knee) is expected to return on the Pelicans upcoming road trip.

The Pelicans play in three straight road games on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, but it's not clear which game the big man is tentatively targeting to make his return. Regardless, his return will only help the Pelicans in their playoff push, but he's not a must-add player at this point. His return should mean less small ball for New Orleans as well as a role reduction for Dante Cunningham.
Mar 30 - 1:32 PM

Kyle Lowry (back) will not play on Monday against the Rockets.

Lowry has already said that he won't rush his return, but it's not clear when he will be back on the floor. Greivis Vasquez is averaging 11.1 points, 4.3 assists and 1.7 triples on 44.6 percent shooting over 23 games as the starting point guard, and both Lou Williams and DeMar DeRozan will have more responsibilities while Lowry is sidelined, as well.
Mar 30 - 12:44 PM

Jeff Teague (ankle) and the remainder of the Hawks starters are expected to play on Monday against the Bucks.

However, "more rest" is expected on Tuesday, and that should have been obvious considering the Hawks have clinched the No. 1 seed and are on a back-to-back set. After Tuesday's road game against the Pistons, the Hawks are off until Saturday, so those relying on Atlanta for fantasy contributions while fighting for their lives may want to look elsewhere.
Mar 30 - 12:13 PM

For the second time in a week, Al Jefferson had fluid drained from his left knee.

And now we know why Jefferson hasn't looked right recently. His knee, in addition to his groin, is obviously a major concern, and the fact that he's had to have it drained twice in a week is not a good sign as the Hornets head down the stretch of the regular season. If he is forced to miss any time or have his minutes limited in any way, Bismack Biyombo would see an increased role with guys like Cody Zeller and Marvin Williams also playing more as Charlotte goes small.
Mar 30 - 11:42 AM

Cody Zeller (shoulder) went through shootaround and is expected to play against the Celtics on Monday.

After Zeller was spotted shooting left-handed on Saturday, this is a very positive development, especially with Al Jefferson (knee/groin) playing at less than full strength. It's not clear what Zeller's playing time will be in his first game back, but Marvin Williams owners should be paying close attention.
