Raptors waive F Dominic McGuire.

McGuire was waived to make room for Mickael Pietrus and will look to latch on with another team or take his talents to Europe.

Jared Sullinger played fantastic in a loss to the Warriors on Sunday, scoring 26 points with nine boards, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.

The line would have been even more impressive had he not been struggling with foul trouble, but his owners will be thrilled with this line. Sullinger's role in the offense should only grow now that Kelly Olynyk (ankle) is sidelined for a while, so he should be viewed as a must-start option for the foreseeable future.
Jan 25 - 11:27 PM

Kris Humphries was phenomenal in 33 minutes vs. the Nuggets, scoring a season-high 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting with 14 rebounds and one assist.

Humphries per-minute production has been impressive all season, and he was playing too well tonight for coach Randy Wittman to take him off the court. He's a borderline option in 14-team leagues but belongs on the waiver wire in shallower formats, at least until Nene's next stretch of DNPs.
Jan 25 - 11:12 PM

John Wall led the Wizards to an overtime win in Denver on Sunday, scoring 19 points and dishing out 16 assists, one shy of his career high.

Wall made 8-of-16 shots including one 3-pointer and he was huge down the stretch, scoring or assisting on six of Washington's scoring plays. He added one steal with only two turnovers in tonight's high-scoring affair, and he's overtaken Ty Lawson for the league-lead in assists with 10.1 per game. When you eliminate turnovers from the equation, Wall's fantasy valuation leaps into the top-25.
Jan 25 - 11:02 PM

Ty Lawson went off in his return from a one-game personal absence on Sunday, scoring a game-high 31 points with 12 assists before missing a potentially game-tying jumper in overtime.

Lawson hit 10-of-20 shots and 8-of-8 free throws with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and three steals, perhaps taking his emotions out on the court after being arrested on suspicion of a DUI on Friday. He may eventually face a short suspension from the league, but for now owners can tentatively expect to have him for all four of Denver's games this week.
Jan 25 - 11:01 PM

Klay Thompson scored 31 points to lead the Warriors in a win over the Celtics on Sunday, adding two boards, one assist and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

It's incredible to think that Thompson was able to score 37 points in a quarter during Friday's game over the Kings, so his owners might be starting to feel a little greedy and are probably yawning at this stat line. It's going to be interesting to see who ends up starting in the All-Star game in place of Kobe Bryant (shoulder), as James Harden and Klay Thompson are locked in an excting battle to take home the honors. Keep Thompson active in your lineup and enjoy the show.
Jan 25 - 10:55 PM

DeMar DeRozan snapped a three-game offensive skid with 25 points on Sunday, adding one 3-pointer, six rebounds, four assists and two steals without any turnovers in 35 minutes.

The 25 points tied his season high, and they're a welcome sight after his recent three-game stretch of 4.7 points on 17.7 percent shooting. The Raptors have righted their ship with three wins in the past four games but they still have to shore up their defense, which is allowing 100.6 points per game (20th most in the league).
Jan 25 - 10:27 PM

D.J. Augustin exploded for a career-high 35 points while taking over the Pistons' starting PG job on Sunday, hitting 12-of-20 shots with five 3-pointers, four boards and eight assists.

Congratulations to all those owners who snagged Augustin off the waiver wire following Brandon Jennings' Achilles injury. Augustin also was 6-of-6 at the FT line with only two turnovers in 37 minutes and this may stand as his best line all season, but he's locked into a huge role with Jennings done for the year. Detroit plays three times next week, which is good enough to start Augustin in all formats.
Jan 25 - 10:09 PM

Kawhi Leonard briefly left Sunday's game against the Bucks with a tweaked ankle, but returned shortly after to the tune of 19 points, 14 boards, two assists, three steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

He was in the locker room for just a few minutes and didn't appear to be limited at all by his ankle. It's possible that he deals with some swelling in the coming days, but the Spurs are off until Wednesday so he should have plenty of time to recover. This is the kind of stat line that Leonard can put up on any given night, so it looks like he will continue to reward his patient owners for the rest of the way.
Jan 25 - 10:01 PM

Khris Middleton tied his season-high with 21 points in a loss to the Spurs on Sunday, adding five boards, two assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

He was absolutely on fire in this one, going 9-of-14 from the floor and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. Middleton has been phenomenal in 2015, and over his last 10 games he has averaged 12.7 points, 2.4 assists, 4.8 boards, 2.2 steals and 1.6 3-pointers per game. If he is somehow still available in your league, he needs to be picked up immediately.
Jan 25 - 9:50 PM

Brandon Knight scored just 10 points in a loss to the Spurs on Sunday, adding five boards, five assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

He really struggled to take care of the ball tonight, turning it over five times while shooting just 4-of-15 from the field. It was also his lowest scoring output since Dec. 27, but he was able to play solid defense on Tony Parker throughout the game. However, Knight has been in the conversation as an Eastern Conference All-Star in what has been a breakout season for the young guard, so his owners should give him a pass. Expect him to bounce back against the Heat on Tuesday.
Jan 25 - 9:35 PM

Tyreke Evans racked up 24 points and a season-high 12 assists in Sunday's home win vs. the Mavericks, making 11-of-19 shots with one 3-pointer, one steal and three turnovers.

Evans has taken on a much larger role offensively with Jrue Holiday (stress reaction) out of the lineup, and he'll continue to do so for about 2-4 more weeks. His efficient shooting is a reliable trend since teams still can't keep him out of the paint -- he's taking a career-high 56.6 percent of his shots within three feet of the rim.
