Derrick Favors (plantar fasciitis) and Marvin Williams (concussion) are both unlikely to play on Wednesday against the Magic.

Favors would miss his third straight game if he sits, while the absence for Williams would mark his fourth straight game missed. In the interim, Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and Enes Kanter will all see more minutes with Favors sidelined, while DeMarre Carroll will likely continue to start for Williams with Gordon Hayward seeing an uptick in minutes off the bench.

Elfrid Payton scored 20 points with six assists, four rebounds, three steals and two triples in Friday's 112-96 win over the Bucks.

Payton logged a team-high 37 minutes and the Magic used a lot of two-PG lineups with Jodie Meeks (right thumb) and Evan Fournier (heel, foot) both out -- C.J. Watson played 31 minutes and D.J. Augustin played 28. Payton is going to be a workhorse going forward and finished 6-of-11 from the field and 6-of-6 from the line. The Magic have been linked to Goran Dragic, so Payton's owners will obviously be hoping for a quiet trade deadline.

Kemba Walker scored 32 points in a 113-78 win over the Raptors on Friday, adding four rebounds, eight assists and six 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

It's been a while since we've see a Kemba explosion like this one with only 21.4 points per game in his previous five. We've love to call this an All-Star snub game, but Walker said he didn't really care about that. "I really don’t care, honestly," Walker said. "It’s really starting to get old, hearing about it. If my name is called, I’ll be super excited. But if not, I’ll just have to move on." He has a great chance to be a reserve, but the East guards are stacked.
Jan 20 - 10:16 PM

Greg Monroe played just 14 minutes in Friday's loss to the Magic and scored seven points on 2-of-7 shooting.

The worst nightmare for Monroe's owners came true on Friday as the Bucks used a three-man rotation at center for the first time since November (with the exception of garbage time) -- Miles Plumlee and John Henson each played 16 minutes. Hopefully the lopsided score had something to do with it, but this is worth keeping an eye on during Saturday's game vs. the Heat. Monroe added five rebounds, one assist and one steal, and he's still a hold in standard leagues despite scoring just two points in 18 minutes in his previous outing.
Jan 20 - 9:58 PM

Larry Nance (knee) will return to practice on Saturday and will play limited minutes on Sunday vs. Dallas.

He's not going to play on Friday vs. the Pacers, but this is huge news for the Lakers. His minutes will be held in check right out of the gate, but Nance is worth keeping an eye on going forward with the Lakers rebuilding. Nance averaged 7.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.6 blocks and 1.2 steals in 22.4 minutes on 58.4 percent shooting prior to the injury, so it makes sense to put him on your watch list.
Jan 20 - 9:46 PM

Luol Deng (wrist) will not play on Friday vs. the Pacers.

Brandon Ingram will start in his place once again. The Lakers initially said Deng was out indefinitely a few days back, but he was a game-time call tonight which suggests he's probably day-to-day. Regardless, he belongs on the wire in most leagues anyways. Ingram is looking at a heavy workload and is trending up as a nice stash in standard leagues.
Jan 20 - 9:32 PM

Ryan Anderson (illness) will not return to Friday's game vs. the Warriors.

He started the game which was a surprise, but clearly didn't look right and finished scoreless in nine minutes. Anderson should be considered questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Grizzlies. Corey Brewer started the second half in his place, but there should be more minutes available for Sam Dekker as well.
Jan 20 - 9:28 PM

Joel Embiid (left knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Friday's game as a precaution.

After a fourth trip to the locker room and being ruled out, Embiid came back to the bench and was crestfallen he could not return. He was doing some cutting in the hallway to the locker room to likely try to show he was able to play. In other words, the 76ers just didn't want their franchise player to go out there. He had to battle in this game and probably went to the floor about 10 times with multiple times limping throughout the game. The worst blow for Embiid was a knee contusion in the third quarter and he even tweaked it again later. For now, we don't think it's serious, but there's very little chance he plays on Saturday.
Jan 20 - 9:13 PM

Luol Deng (wrist) is a game-time call to face the Pacers on Friday.

He will test out his shooting wrist and the team will go from there. If he sits, Brandon Ingram would get the start again. We'll pass along the decision on Deng in hopefully about an hour.
Jan 20 - 8:52 PM

Joel Embiid jogged back to the locker room in the third quarter on Friday.

His knee hyperextended after he slipped on the floor and he was limping for about 15 seconds. Embiid gathered himself and went back to the locker room with two trainers. It's likely a checkup and hopefully he's OK.
Jan 20 - 8:37 PM

Garrett Temple is starting vs. the Grizzlies on Friday.

Rudy Gay (Achilles) is out for the season and Temple and Matt Barnes will likely see the biggest bump in minutes. Temple doesn't have great upside, but he did put up averages of 11.4 points, 3.1 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 2.1 treys in seven previous starts this season. Give him a look if has a strong game tonight.
Jan 20 - 7:58 PM

Chandler Parsons (rest) will not play against the Kings on Friday night.

He has not looked right at all and the Grizzlies are on a home-home back-to-back, so this isn't surprising. James Ennis is likely to get the start while the Grizzlies give a few extra minutes to Troy Daniels and Tony Allen. Parsons may be the most annoying player to own, so feel free to cut him.
