Kobe Bryant scored his 30,000th point on Wednesday and finished with 29 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer against the Hornets.

He passed the milestone on a shot in the paint over Robin Lopez and we'll be seeing Lopez's hair in the highlight of the play for quite some time. Bryant joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Karl Malone, Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain as the only others to do so. Kobe is looking like he's still in his prime and his 28.0 points per game is on pace to be his best total since 2008.

The Lakers are reportedly only interested in signing Rajon Rondo as an unrestricted free agent this offseason at a discount.

An ugly divorce, and unproductive season with the Dallas Mavericks has really lowered Rondo's stock heading into free agency. Rondo just isn't the same player he once was before the ACL tear in 2013. He remains a major liability on offense, and his defense has dipped as well. He clashes with coaches, and his need to have the ball in his hands would more than likely result in some conflict with Kobe Bryant. Simply put, Rondo hasn't played like a max-contract player for some time now, and he's likely going to have to settle for less during free agency.

Tony Parker (ankle, Achiles, quad) admitted on Tuesday that he's not 100 percent healthy, but he will continue to fight through the pain and he will play in Game 5 on Tuesday against the Clippers.

Parker struggled through the first three games of the series, but he managed to go off for 18 points during Game 4 on Sunday. Parker knows that he needs to be aggressive for San Antonio to have a shot at repeating for a championship, and he'll look to keep his momentum going during Tuesday's Game 5. We'll let you know how he fares after the game.

Chandler Parsons (knee) has delayed surgery until the Mavs' playoff run is over.

Parsons said he’s delaying surgery on his right knee and addded that he and doctors won’t know exactly what’s wrong with the knee until he has the procedure. The 26-year-old has been getting multiple medical opinions on his injured knee and one of the options is microfracture surgery. "There’s a lot of opinions and a lot of different things out there, but really the doctors won’t know anything until they open me up," Parsons said. "So I’m not going to say something is going to happen or not happen and then be wrong. I really won’t know until they open me up." We'll update Parsons' status as we know more, but any type of surgery will make him a risky selection in fantasy drafts for next season.

Kevin Love (shoulder) is highly unlikely to return this season, according to Cavaliers general manager David Griffin.

Griffin said the damage to Love's shoulder is extensive and added that surgery is an option for the 26-year-old. This is a huge blow for the Cavs' playoff hopes and could affect Love's impending free agency. We'll provide updates as soon as new becomes available, but it goes without saying that Kelly Olynyk might not want to visit Cleveland for a while.

Pelicans head coach Monty Williams said there is concern with Jrue Holiday and the team's medical staff is evaluating how they can keep him on the floor.

Williams added the the team will work with Holiday's trainers in Los Angeles over the summer as they attempt to keep Holiday from missing extended time for the third straight season in 2015-16. The 24-year-old averaged 14.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers this season, but missed more than 40 games for the second consecutive season. Holiday could end up being a late-round steal in fantasy drafts, but he's obviously a risky proposition with his injury history.

Damian Lillard carried the Blazers to get a Game 4 win on Monday, scoring 32 points with two rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 39 minutes.

The Blazers pulled out a 99-92 win thanks to outscoring the Grizzlies 31-17 in the fourth. Lillard's trey was a four-point play to help Lillard alone match the Grizzlies scoring in the final 8:48 of this game (12 points each). It was Lillard time. The Blazers are now down 3-1 and will head to Memphis for Game 5 on Wednesday.

Meyers Leonard picked up 35 minutes of playing time against the Grizzlies on Monday with 13 points, 13 boards, two assists one steal and three 3-pointers on 5-of-6 from the field.

That's an effective field goal percentage of 108.3 and Leonard took playing time away from Robin Lopez, who played just 21 minutes with six points and three rebounds. The Blazers have gained more confidence in Leonard since the break and he could have a bigger role next season. A lot of that will have to do with LaMarcus Aldridge.

Michael Carter-Williams may have turned in his best game as a Buck during Monday's Game 5 94-88 win in Chicago, scoring 22 points on 10-of-15 from the field with eight rebounds, nine assists, one steal and three blocks in 38 minutes.

He even turned in his ankle in this game and had to be re-taped. It's pretty easy to figure out why he was successful today: MCW had all 10 makes come from inside the paint today and he only had four attempts from beyond 14 feet. The Bulls will likely force him to shoot from distance more, but we still have to give Carter-Williams a ton of credit here. The Bucks will look to tie the series in Game 6 on Thursday.
Apr 27 - 11:16 PM

Khris Middleton scored 21 points in 38 minutes against the Bulls on Monday with four rebounds, two assists, four steals and two 3-pointers on 8-of-16 from the field.

He was really hot in the first half with 15 points, but cooled off after halftime. Middleton wasn't shooting the ball well before this game, making 36.2 percent from the field for 17.0 points in his previous four. He'll likely have another good game in front of the home crowd on Thursday. For what it's worth, Middleton's 50.9 percent from the field in home games this regular season was 8.3 percent better than it was on the road.
Apr 27 - 11:05 PM

Pau Gasol scored 25 points during a Game 5 94-88 loss to the Bucks in Chicago on Monday, adding 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks in 33 minutes.

This is a really bad loss for the Bulls. Their offense vanished in the fourth and coach Tom Thibodeau still doesn't seem to have the right frontcourt combination. Joakim Noah was everywhere on Monday with 10 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, one steal and three blocks in 32 minutes. Taj Gibson played just 15 minutes with 12 points and three boards because Nikola Mirotic played more power forward today. Mirotic was also quiet with three points and one rebound. The Bulls have lost all of their momentum and will take their 3-2 lead to Milwaukee on Thursday.
Apr 27 - 10:58 PM

Derrick Rose struggled for a second consecutive game against the Bucks on Monday, making 5-of-20 from the field for 13 points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal and six turnovers.

He missed all seven attempts from deep and coach Tom Thibodeau will probably have a word with Rose to relax on those attempts. The Bulls made just 7-of-30 (23.3 percent) in the fourth quarter and only had seven fast-break points in the entire game. Rose was able to play with some control in his enormous Game 3, but he's been chaotic in the last two games. He'll get a couple days off before Game 6 on Thursday.
