Raja Bell's agent is working on a buyout for his client, and the Lakers remain interested in signing Bell, sources tell CBS Sports.

Bell and the Jazz have been in a stalemate since the offseason, and the two sides have made little progress toward a buyout to date. Mike D'Antoni would love to add Bell to the Lakers if he is bought out, so if he is eventually freed, look for Los Angeles to push for his services.

Lance Stephenson didn't leave the Hornets bench in the second half on Tuesday, finishing with five points, three rebounds and two assists in just 10 minutes.

Born Ready has solid per-36-minute averages for rebounds (6.5) and assists (5.9), but that's where the good news ends. He has a morbid True Shooting of 40.3 percent and coach Steve Clifford opted to deploy Jeff Taylor ahead of him in the second half. Clifford explained the benching afterward by saying, "From here on out it's got to be sub-to-win." That line sums up Stephenson's lack of value for both the Hornets and fantasy owners.

Rudy Gobert grabbed a career-high 24 rebounds in a win over the Grizzlies on Tuesday, adding 15 points and one assist in 36 minutes.

Though he failed to block a shot for the first time since Jan. 24, he was a huge factor in the paint and played remarkable defense on Marc Gasol down the stretch. Gobert has now logged a double-double in three of his last four games and it's clear that he is going to be an absolute stud for the rest of the way. For what it's worth, the Jazz are 5-1 since inserting Gobert into the starting lineup after the All-Star Break. Thank you Enes Kanter.

The Knicks were destroyed by the Kings on Tuesday, 86-124, with only Alexey Shved leading the team in scoring with 15 points on 4-of-11 FGs and 7-of-9 FTs.

Shved added seven boards, three dimes and a steal, and he was one of only three Knicks to score double-digit points, joining fellow reserves Shane Larkin (13 points) and Jason Smith (13 points). Shved's 33 minutes were also a team-high and he's now averaging 13.0 points, 0.8 threes, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 steals over the past four games. That's enough to warrant attention in deeper formats while Jose Calderon (Achilles) is out, but most owners should take a skeptical view of Shved -- he's shooting 38.7 percent this season and this was the first time he's cracked the 30-minute barrier.
Mar 3 - 10:02 PM

Derrick Williams came off the bench for 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting on Tuesday, making three 3-pointers with three boards, two assists and one steal in 28 minutes.

Knicks' opponents are shooting a league-best 38.6 percent from downtown and it showed on Tuesday, as the Kings made a combined 10-of-18 triples in the easy road win. George Karl is still figuring out how to get "more consistent value" from Williams, but he also referred to him as "one of our more skilled players." Standard-league owners should keep a close eye on D-Will in case his role continues to grow during the Kings' final 24 games.
Mar 3 - 9:52 PM

DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) returned from his two-game absence vs. the Knicks, scoring 22 points (5-of-10 FGs, 11-of-11 FTs) with one 3-pointer, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks.

Cousins has fared well under coach George Karl even though Karl's offense typically shuns post-ups. As noted by Brett Kormenos, "Karl's last team in Denver actually ran fewer post-ups per game as a team (5.6) than Cousins has this year as an individual." He did his damage in under 30 minutes during tonight's blowout win, and fantasy owners can look forward to elite value in the season's final six weeks.
Mar 3 - 9:51 PM

LeBron James racked up 27 points, three rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block before taking a seat after 26 minutes of action on Tuesday.

He made 12-of-23 shots and only turned the ball over once, a rare treat from the player who ranks second in the NBA with 4.3 turnovers per game (trailing only DeMarcus Cousins). LeBron spent the past few days criticizing himself for missing eight free throws in Sunday's tough overtime loss, but it didn't take him long to put that defeat in the rearview mirror. He also passed Ray Allen on the all-time scoring list with this performance, giving him 24,507 points in his phenomenal 12-year career.
Mar 3 - 9:26 PM

Head coach James Borrego hinted that he is considering changing his starting lineup for Wednesday's game vs. the Suns.

"We're looking at different ways to help that starting unit, Borrego said. "I'm open to all options right now. But we have to get off to better starts." Coach Borrego didn't mention any names, but Channing Frye certainly comes to mind as he has struggled in recent games and saw just 18 minutes vs. the Hornets on Sunday. Rookie Elfrid Payton also saw just 13 minutes vs. the Hornets, but the Magic will likely want to keep prioritizing his development in what has been a lost season. Check back after shootaround on Wednesday for the latest updates.
Mar 3 - 9:10 PM

Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) will not play against the Bucks on Tuesday.

The Nuggets have failed to provide a timetable for the rookie's return, and all we know is that former head coach Brain Shaw hinted that Nurkic would be out for a while. Nurkic is worth a stash if you have an open IR spot, but with fantasy playoffs upon us, his owners may need to look at other options. In the meantime, Kenneth Faried will continue to start at center, while more opportunities will be available for guys like J.J. Hickson and Joffrey Lauvergne.
Mar 3 - 8:54 PM

The Nuggets will start Ty Lawson, Randy Foye, Danilo Gallinari, Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried on Tuesday vs. the Bucks.

The Nuggets parted ways with coach Brain Shaw on Tuesday, so it will be very interesting to see how their rotations shape up in the coming weeks. Faried has an excellent shot to redeem himself now that coach Shaw can't hold him back, so hopefully he finally rewards his patient owners with some late-season production.
Mar 3 - 8:36 PM

Tony Snell will draw the start in place of Jimmy Butler (elbow) on Tuesday vs. the Wizards.

With Butler set to miss at least a few weeks, Snell is worth a flier in all standard leagues. In ten previous starts this season, he averaged 8.3 points, 3.5 boards, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.1 3-pointers in 29.8 minutes. However, Snell has shown a lot of improvement recently, scoring in double digits in each of his last four games. We will let you know how he does after the game, but it looks Snell could be a must-own player until further notice.
Mar 3 - 7:42 PM

Markieff Morris has been fined $15,000 for making above-the-shoulder contact with Goran Dragic.

He swiped at Dragic and caught his head, sending him to the ground, which earned Morris a Flagrant-2 foul and an ejection. He said Dragic was "overexaggerating" on the play, and either way the league didn't see enough malicious intent to suspend him.
