Jared Dudley will start at small forward against the Clippers in Saturday in place of Michael Beasley.

Beasley has been horrible this year and can't seem to do anything right with his new team. Dudley's move to small forward benefits both himself and Shannon Brown. If you were on the fence to pick up either Brown or Dudley, go ahead and make the move. Beasley owners will want to move on to greener pastures.

Milos Teodosic hit just 4-of-12 shots and 2-of-9 3-pointers for 12 points, seven rebounds and zero assists in Monday's win over the Raptors, which was his first game since Oct. 21 after suffering a foot injury.

Welcome back, Milos! We've been hyping him pretty hard and new owners should exercise patience here. He's not going to go assist-less on many nights, nor will he shoot it this poorly on most nights. He had just one turnover and looked pretty good, despite the shooting. He also hit a massive 3-pointer with 40 seconds left in the game to give the Clippers a five-point lead that ended up winning the game for his team. Pick him up, look for him to take baby steps as he gets his conditioning back, and get ready to watch him play some mean point guard for the Clippers.
Dec 12 - 1:19 AM

Damian Lillard scored 39 points in a losing effort on Monday vs. the Warriors, hitting 12-of-28 shots and 10-of-12 free throws.

He was borderline unfair in the second half and almost brought the Blazers back from a massive deficit, forcing the Warriors to guard him with Klay Thompson and even Kevin Durant for stretches. He only handed out two assists, but he hit five 3-pointers with four rebounds and a pair of steals. Portland has lost five straight, but their schedule softens up a bit with games coming up against the Heat, Magic and Hornets.
Dec 12 - 1:16 AM

Jonas Valanciunas hit 8-of-10 shots, a 3-pointer and 6-of-6 free throws for a season-high 23 points and 15 rebounds in 28 minutes of Monday's loss to the Clippers.

He also had 23 points in the season opener, but has been pretty quiet ever since. He hadn't scored more than nine points in his previous three games and it looked like Jakob Poeltl might be ready to challenge him for his job. Hopefully the Raptors figure out that he needs more minutes (tonight marked his most since Nov. 15) and turn him loose. Either way, despite his struggles, JV is too good to drop in any league.
Dec 12 - 1:05 AM

Jordan Bell started for Draymond Green (shoulder) on Monday vs. the Blazers and scored 11 points on 5-of-6 shots and 1-of-2 free throws with six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 26 minutes.

The nickname "mini Draymond" is catching on and there are a lot of similarities with the way both players can fill up the box score, especially in steals and blocks. He had another ridiculous chase-down block on Damian Lillard tonight and has been slowly earning coach Steve Kerr's trust over the past few weeks. He continues to trend up as a high-upside stash, but keep in mind the Warriors only have one more game this week.
Dec 12 - 12:59 AM

Kevin Durant led the Warriors to their seventh straight win in a 111-104 victory over the Blazers on Monday, scoring 28 points (11-of-21 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs) with nine rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two triples in 36 minutes.

Durant was putting up 35.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 3.5 blocks, 0.5 steals and 3.0 triples in his last two games without Stephen Curry (ankle) and continued his dominant play tonight. Durant did have a slight limp near the end of the third quarter and a trainer was working on his lower right leg, but he did return to the game and seemed fine. The only concern for Durant’s owners is that they only get to deploy him one more time this week.
Dec 12 - 12:53 AM

Montrezl Harrell was on fire on Monday night, but hurt his right knee on the landing after a great shot block. NBA TV cut away from the game so we didn't get to see how Harrell exited the court, but we'll assume it was gingerly, at best.

He was down, in a lot of pain, and we're going to assume he won't return. If that's the case, he'll finish with 17 points, four rebounds and two blocks, despite playing just 14 minutes. Hopefully the injury isn't serious, and there are reports that he remained on the bench and was trying to shake it off. Despite the big line, he'll need more minutes than he's getting to be a must-own in fantasy. Sam Dekker gets a boost if Harrell's going to miss time.
Dec 12 - 12:35 AM

Nick Young (concussion) will not return to Monday's game vs. the Blazers.

He will now enter the concussion protocol and is in danger of missing Thursday's game vs. Dallas. Young was playing well tonight with 12 points and a pair of triples in 13 minutes, but he caught an inadvertent elbow from Jordan Bell while fighting for a rebound. If Young misses time Patrick McCaw will likely pick up his minutes.
Dec 12 - 12:29 AM

James Harden (calf) matched his career-high with 17 assists in Monday's win over the Pelicans, adding 26 points, one rebound, six steals, four triples and three turnovers.

That's the sixth time in his career that Harden has recorded 17 assists and all six of those games happened in 2016 or later. He was toying with the Pelicans' defense tonight and 11 of his assists were alley-oop lobs to Clint Capela. Arguably the frontrunner for the MVP Award, Harden will look to stay hot against a depleted Hornets team on Wednesday.
Dec 11 - 11:13 PM

Clint Capela scored a career-high 28 points on 13-of-14 shooting in Monday's 130-123 win over the Pelicans.

James Harden and Chris Paul were giving Capela easy looks around the rim all night and the Rockets destroyed the Pelicans with the pick-and-roll. Capela also limited DeMarcus Cousins to 24 points without Anthony Davis which is no easy task, and he also matched his career-high with five blocks to go with his eight rebounds in 24 minutes. Capela is a rising star in the NBA and is firmly in the discussion for the Most Improved Player Award.
Dec 11 - 11:03 PM

E'Twaun Moore dropped a career-high 36 points on 15-of-20 shots, but it wasn't enough in Monday's 130-123 loss to Houston.

Moore was feeling it tonight, hitting six of the Pelicans' franchise record of 18 triples. He dished out three assists with three rebounds and three turnovers and was one of three Pelicans who played 41 or more minutes. While this was a fluky line in a shootout, Moore was having a strong December prior to Monday with averages of 16.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.2 triples in that span. He's worth owning while he's hot, especially with Anthony Davis (thigh) banged up.
Dec 11 - 10:50 PM

Rajon Rondo triple-doubled with 13 points (5-of-12 FGs), 12 assists, 12 rebounds, three triples and eight turnovers in Monday's 130-123 loss to Houston.

That's the 30th triple-double of his career and that makes him the only player in the NBA to have at least one triple-double in each of the last 10 seasons. Rondo has really expanded his 3-point range in recent years and that's going to be huge for New Orleans' floor spacing -- he's hit three or more triples 16 times in his career and all of them have come after 2014. He played 42 minutes after playing 37 on Sunday, so hopefully the Pelicans are done watching his minutes.
