DeJuan Blair will not play against the Bobcats on Saturday due to a sprained left ankle.

Blair took a hard spill in the second half of Friday's game and the big man may need some time to recover. Tiago Splitter has played much better lately with 12.8 points per game in his last six games and he's worth a look in some standard formats.

Lance Thomas (concussion) will not play on Sunday vs. the Nuggets as expected.

Feb 7 - 11:27 AM

Evan Fournier will start in place of Tobias Harris (ankle) on Sunday vs. the Hawks.

Feb 7 - 11:25 AM

Jae Crowder (ankle) will play on Sunday vs. the Kings.

He didn't look right on Friday vs. the Cavs, scoring just three points on 1-of-9 shooting with seven boards, two assists and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes. However, Crowder is as tough as they come and doesn't want to take any time off, so he shouldn't have any restrictions vs. the Kings. He's a risky play in DFS, but owners in season-long leagues should activate him.
Feb 7 - 11:24 AM

Carmelo Anthony (knee) will start on Sunday vs. the Nuggets.

He participated in Saturday's light practice and was always expected to return to the court against his former team. Anthony is still battling soreness in his knee and clearly isn't 100 percent, so the shut-down risk will grow if the Knicks don't start winning games. They have lost four straight. Langston Galloway will return to the bench for Sunday's game.
Feb 7 - 11:19 AM

Tobias Harris (sore left ankle) will not play on Sunday vs. the Hawks.

He was initially dealing with a cut above his eye and was expected to play, but he was held out of practice on Saturday due to soreness in his left ankle. Harris does have a history of ankle issues, so the Magic might just be exercising some caution here. With Harris on the shelf, we can expect to see a lot of Aaron Gordon today, while Mario Hezonja should see more playing time as well.
Feb 7 - 11:14 AM

James Harden (finger) believes that he should be all right.

"My middle finger bent back," Harden said. "It's swollen a little bit, but it should be all right." Harden didn't play down the stretch in Sunday's game vs. the Blazers, but it was likely due to the lopsided score and he said that it would've have been "pointless" for him to keep playing. Harden should be considered day-to-day, but it would be surprising if he didn't play vs. the Warriors on Tuesday.

According to the Denver Post, Kenneth Faried is not officially on the trade block.

The Manimal has plenty of suitors and his value is very high around the league, but the Denver Post said that it would take a "too good to be true" offer to convince the Nuggets to part ways with the athletic forward. It's still unclear if the Nuggets will be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline, but nothing is imminent by any means.

According to the Denver Post, the Nuggets are not looking to trade Will Barton.

The Nuggets have received several calls for the exciting guard and have even been offered first-round picks for him, but Denver is committed to him for the long run. The Denver Post states that the Nuggets treat him like a "gem" and that they will fight to hold onto him. His value should be safe for the remainder of the season.

Memphis coach Dave Joerger admitted that Marc Gasol is basically "playing on one leg" at the moment.

Neither Joerger or Gasol would elaborate, but the big man has been on the injury report in recent weeks with a sore left knee. The All-Star break can't come soon enough for Gasol, but the good news is that there has been no indication that he will miss any time. Expect him to be out there on Monday vs. the Blazers.
Feb 7 - 9:56 AM

DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) and Rajon Rondo (turf toe) are both probable for Sunday's game vs. the Celtics.

The Kings likely won't update their status before tip-off, but both players are going to play barring a late setback. The Kings have lost six out of their last seven games and coach George Karl is on the hot seat, so Sunday's game vs. the Celtics is going to be very interesting.
Feb 7 - 9:48 AM

Julius Randle (ankle) is probable for Monday's game vs. the Pacers.

This is wonderful news. Randle looked like he was in obvious pain in the closing moments of Saturday's game, but he insisted that he's fine and x-rays were negative on his ankle. Randle was excellent vs. the Spurs with 15 points, 17 boards, four assists and two steals in 31 minutes, so he belongs in most lineups as long as you don't expect him to help you out in steals or blocks.
