Updating a previous item, Anthony Morrow will indeed start against the Magic on Wednesday.

The Hawks will rest DeShawn Stevenson in the first half of a back-to-back and Kyle Korver will be limited after missing the last five games due to back spasms and the birth of his child. Still, Morrow's time in the sun will likely be limited. The 27-year old is averaging just 5.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in 12.6 minutes per game this season and will have to show much more than that before we can recommend him for any consideration.

David West (ankle) made his season debut in the Pacers' 98-83 win over the Magic on Friday, scoring 18 points on 8-of-17 shooting with six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 24 minutes.

West is going to play a big role for the Pacers as offensive initiator from the post and his scoring will be relied upon all year. If he can stay healthy he should have some pretty gaudy numbers while George Hill is out.

Kawhi Leonard flirted with a 5x5 line in the Spurs' 112-104 win over the Kings on Friday, scoring 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting (including four threes) with four rebounds, two assists, three steals and four blocks.

Flirt may be a strong word with three steals in there and 3-pointers being used instead of the traditional 'PTs-REBs-ASTs-STLs-BLKs' for 5x5 status -- but really who cares. He's just below second round value while his shooting percentages and blocks have still yet to catch up to career levels. Enjoy the ride.

Rudy Gay (Achilles) returned to action in Friday's loss to the Spurs, scoring 23 points on 9-of-17 shooting (1-of-2 from deep, 4-of-6 from the line) with eight rebounds, eight assists and one steal in 35 minutes.

That Gay did this with no DeMarcus Cousins around to keep the defense honest and Kawhi Leonard draped all over him all night is impressive. He's returning top 20-30 value on the season and the only number that seems out of place is his foul shooting (87.5 percent), which is about nine percent above his career 78.7 percent mark.
Nov 29 - 2:31 AM

Russell Westbrook obliterated the Knicks in his return from a 14-game absence due to a broken hand, scoring 32 points on 12-of-17 shooting (three treys) with seven rebounds, eight assists and a steal in the Thunder's 105-78 win.

Weekly league owners needed refills for their salivary glands watching these pinball numbers go off from their bench. Our long international wait is over!
Nov 29 - 2:02 AM

Reggie Jackson returned to the second unit in Friday's blowout win, scoring 10 points on 3-of-8 shooting (no threes) with six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 29 minutes.

This could be a familiar line for the rest of the season and owners should expect mid-to-late round value once Kevin Durant returns.
Nov 29 - 1:45 AM

Blake Griffin scored 30 points in a blowout 102-85 win at Houston on Friday with 10 boards and one assist in just 31 minutes.

The Rockets had no answer for him at all. Griffin is starting to get it going after a slow start, averaging 21.0 points, 8.8 boards, 4.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.0 turnovers on 46.3 percent from the field and 76.2 percent from the line over his last five.
Nov 29 - 1:03 AM

Andre Drummond set season-highs for scoring (26) and rebounding (20) in Friday's loss to the Bucks, hitting 12-of-19 shots with a steal and block in 38 minutes.

Welcome back, Andre. The Pistons threw a lot at the kid and he short-circuited for a bit there, but hopefully owners were patient through the first 15 games of the season. The buy low window is slammed shut.
Nov 29 - 12:58 AM

Monta Ellis scored a game-high 30 points against the Raptors on Friday with one rebound, six assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

He came off his worst game with just eight points against the Knicks on Wednesday, but Monta just controlled the offense tonight. He'll get an easy matchup against the 76ers on Saturday. The Mavericks beat them by 53 on Nov. 13, so his owners will have to be careful of garbage time. Despite how he's struggled in the second half of back-to-backs, you're obviously starting him.
Nov 29 - 12:27 AM

Amir Johnson scored 20 points in 30 minutes against the Mavericks during a 106-102 loss on Friday with nine rebounds, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

His frontcourt mate, Jonas Valanciunas (eight points, 13 boards and one steal), had some trouble with Tyson Chandler, so Johnson benefited. He hasn't hit his stride just yet and is outside of top-100 value, which will change after tonight's massive game.
Nov 29 - 12:22 AM

Greivis Vasquez played down the stretch against the Mavericks on Friday, finishing with 14 points, three rebounds, six assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

He's hot with a 21-point game on Wednesday and he looks like he'll get more run with DeMar DeRozan (groin) possibly out. Vasquez started the last time DeRozan missed a game due to injury and he's been fairly effective from a per-minute standpoint. He's worth a look in standard leagues.
Nov 29 - 12:06 AM

Lou Williams played 30 minutes against the Mavericks on Friday with 16 points, one rebound, one assist, two steals and two 3-pointers.

He replaced DeMar DeRozan (groin) in the third quarter, but one would think he wouldn't move into the starting lineup because he has such a great rhythm in the second unit as the sixth man. Still, Williams is going to get more minutes and looks like a terrific asset in all standards. In the past two weeks, he was a top-five player. Make sure he's not on your wire.
