Larry Sanders (illness) will not play against the Kings on Wednesday.

Sanders not playing doesn't appear to have anything to do with coach Scott Skiles. He should be ready to go against the Cavs on Friday. Samuel Dalembert will get the start in his absence.

Dwight Howard will be suspended one game without pay for collecting his fourth Flagrant Foul points during the 2015 postseason.

Howard's suspension will be served during the first game of next season in which he's eligible and physically able to play. He collected his fourth Flagrant Foul point when he extended his forearm into Andre Iguadala's neck during the closing minutes of Game 5 in the Western Conference Finals. Originally ruled as a common foul, the league upgraded the play to a Flagrant Foul 1 upon official review, deeming the contact to have been unnecessary.

The Magic have reportedly begun contract negotiations with Scott Skiles, and they hope to come to terms on a deal by Friday evening.

Skiles has long been rumored to be the frontrunner for the Orlando head coaching gig, so this report is far from shocking. He will obviously no longer be in the running for New Orleans’ head coaching opportunity, meaning Alvin Gentry and Jeff Van Gundy come to the forefront, with Tom Thibodeau serving as a bit of a dark horse candidate (although Thibs is said to be uninterested). Skiles isn't a fantasy friendly coach, so owners of Orlando players may be in for a bumpy ride next season.

Mychal Thompson, Klay Thompson's (concussion-like symptoms) father, speculates that his son should be cleared to play sometime before the NBA Finals.

When Mychal was asked to describe the difference in Klay a day after his injury, Mychal responded, "Antarctica to the jungles of Brazil." When pressed further to speculate on his son's availability for the Finals, Thompson stated: "I'm not a doctor, but if I'm going to guess in layman's terms, yeah I think [he'll be cleared for the Finals.] He seems to be feeling better by the hour." Thompson is scheduled to meet with the Warriors medical staff on Friday, after which we'll likely have another update on Golden State's sniper.

Klay Thompson's agent, Bill Duffy, said his client cleared tests and did not have a concussion.

This is getting weird. First, Klay passed a concussion test just after being kneed in the head, then the Warriors released a statement after the game that he had concussion-like symptoms. Now, his agent is saying something different. Thompson was dizzy, had to throw up and didn't feel well last night, so this new report is a little harder to believe than usual. We'll see what the Warriors say next. If this is true, he should be ready to go in the next couple days.

Paul Millsap said that he will require shoulder surgery this offseason, just rest.

Millsap is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and he's sure to have no shortage of suitors. He's put together a strong two years in Atlanta, and he finished the 2014-15 season with averages of 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.8 steals, 0.9 blocks and 1.1 three-pointers per game on 47.6 percent shooting from the field. Regardless of what uniform he's wearing next season, he's a safe bet to put up early-round value for his across-the-board contributions to the stat sheet.

Klay Thompson (concussion) is feeling OK after experiencing concussion-like symptoms on Wednesday night, according to his father Mychal Thompson.

Thompson will have a week to recover and make it through the concussion protocol, but it's good news to hear that he's feeling better. "He threw up a lot late last night but he felt much better afterwards," said Mychal Thompson. "He was a little woozy after the game but very cognizant of what was going on around him. He's OK. He's doing much better after a good night's sleep." We'll keep a close eye on Thompson's status leading up to the June 4 start of the NBA Finals, but it sounds like the Warriors will have their sharpshooter available for Game 1.

Tom Thibodeau has been informed by the Bulls that he will not be retained as the team's head coach.

This isn't Earth-shattering news as Thibodeau has been rumored to be on his way out for quite some time now. "I appreciate the contributions that Tom Thibodeau made to the Bulls organization," Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf said in a team statement. "I have always respected his love of the game and wish him well in the future." Thibodeau will now jump to the front of the line as the most sought after free agent head coach, so we'll his status updated as things could move very quickly.

Kevin Love is reportedly considering his options in potential free agency this summer, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

While the first domino to fall would be Love opting out of his current contract with the Cavaliers, the 26-year-old is reportedly considering the Celtics, Lakers, and Rockets as potential free agency destinations. "I think he’s going to look around," Wojnarowski said. "I think he’s going to look closely at Boston. I think he’ll look at LA. I’m sure the Texas teams are going to try and get involved." We'll keep Love's status updated as soon as more information becomes available as it looks like the NBA is in for another Summer of Love.

Marc Gasol said he hasn't thought about changing teams this summer.

While Gasol will be one of the top free agent targets this offseason, he said he hasn't given any thought to joining a new team. "I have not considered changing equipment," Gasol said. "Everyone knows the relationship of Memphis with the whole family. It is special and has marked us. You have to put everything in balance. The decision is good because I do good." While Gasol also added that the Grizzlies need to make improvements, all signs are currently pointing to the 30-year-old staying in Memphis.

Harrison Barnes was superb against the Rockets to help the Warriors advance to the NBA Finals on Wednesday, scoring 24 points with seven rebounds, one steal and two 3-pointers in the 104-90 victory.

It was Playoff Barnes after he struggled in the previous two games. The Warriors used him more at the power forward spot tonight, which is something that should continue in the NBA Finals. Plus, he attacked the basket at will tonight and did a very nice job on James Harden. If the Warriors get this Barnes vs. the Cavs, Dub Nation has to like its chances.

Stephen Curry scored 26 points with eight rebounds, six assists, five steals, three turnovers and three 3-pointers on 7-of-21 from the field against the Rockets in a series-clinching win on Wednesday.

He ditched his elbow sleeve in the third quarter after messing with it throughout the game. Curry had plenty of clean looks and the Warriors gave him a slew of off-ball screens to get him loose. He is going to have a week to recover before Game 1 in Oakland on June 4. In two games against the Cavs this season, Curry averaged 20.5 points, 8.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 3.0 treys. It'll be a treat watching him face off against Kyrie Irving.
