Kirk Hinrich missed practice Friday after an MRI showed he has a bruised left knee.

Hinrich is considered day-to-day and has already dealt with injuries to his elbow, hip, thumb and hamstring this season. The knee sounds minor, but could keep him out for another game or two. Tom Thibodeau was coy on who could start between Nate Robinson and Marquis Teague, but Robinson is worth a speculative add in most leagues.

The 76ers announced on Sunday that Markelle Fultz will be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks.

He had a checkup on Sunday and it went well, as the "soreness is dissipating and the muscle balance is improving." The 76ers added that he will continue to progress towards full basketball activities, but his return to action hinges on how well his shoulder responds to an increased workload on the practice court. He's only worth owning in re-draft formats if you have an IR spot and can afford to be patient with him.

Anthony Davis (face) is probable for Monday's game vs. the Thunder.

Davis was in the concussion protocol after taking a shot to the head on Friday, but he has been cleared of the concussion diagnosis and is simply dealing with a facial contusion. His fantasy owners dodged a bullet and can go ahead and pencil him into active lineups.
Nov 19 - 12:13 PM

Kevin Durant will sit out against the Nets on Sunday with a left ankle sprain.

This is the second night of a back-to-back set and the Nets are one of the weakest teams in the NBA after losing Jeremy Lin and D'Angelo Russell to injuries, so draw your own conclusions here. He apparently injured his ankle in the first quarter on Saturday, but finished with 27 points with five rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes against the 76ers. Injured or not, there's no way he's going to miss Wednesday's game vs. the Thunder. With Durant out, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson should both get more looks and pretty much every rotation player gets a bump.
Nov 19 - 11:49 AM

Tim Hardaway Jr. (foot) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Clippers.

He had X-rays after Friday's game, but they came back negative and was diagnosed with a sore left foot. Hardaway said he's not sure how he suffered this mysterious injury, but he said it's been bothering him since Thursday morning. THJ did not practice on Sunday, but check back on Monday morning to see if he's able to go through shootaround. If he can't play, rookie Damyean Dotson might get an opportunity to see minutes.
Nov 19 - 11:22 AM

Wes Matthews scored a season-high 22 points with two rebounds, eight assists, two steals and six 3-pointers against the Bucks on Saturday.

His eight dimes were also a season high, and that has been a trend this month with 3.8 per game -- he averaged a career-high 2.9 per game last season. Matthews is still ice cold inside the arc and his steals are down to just 0.9 in November. He's still getting a good amount of shots and chances are you weren't counting on him for FG%, so he should be owned in standard leagues.
Nov 19 - 12:09 AM

The Bucks' four-game win streak was snapped on Saturday, despite Giannis Antetokounmpo's career-high 17 rebounds, with 24 points, three steals, two assists and one 3-pointer.

Antetokounmpo came in averaging a league-high 30.6 points per game, and his stellar 57.8% from the field was second only to LeBron James among non-centers. He made just 7-of-20 FGs and 9-of-13 FTs tonight, but fantasy owners still benefited from his steals and career-best work on the glass. He's simply ridiculous.
Nov 18 - 11:52 PM

Stephen Curry scored 35 points with five rebounds, five assists, one block and four 3-pointers during a 124-116 win over the 76ers on Saturday.

It's not often you seen Steph have multiple-game slumps, and he bounced back quickly from his nine-point dud in Boston on Thursday. The Warriors were hit in the mouth in the first quarter as they gave up 47 points in that frame, but were still able to overcome a 22-point deficit at half. They put up 47 of their own in the third and this game became the seventh time in the Shot Clock Era that two teams both scored at least 47 points in a quarter in the same game. Curry was a big part of that with his 20 points in that quarter to get to their fifth 40-point quarter on the year. Steph gets the Nets on Sunday, so he should be in for another big night.
Nov 18 - 11:42 PM

Kevin Durant scored 27 points with five rebounds, three assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 33 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday.

He's on another one of his 20-plus scoring streaks with seven straight, but the non-scoring stuff is the most impressive part of his stat lines. In those games, Durant averaged 24.4 points, 6.1 boards, 5.1 assists, 2.0 blocks, 0.9 steals and 1.9 treys on 53.4 FG% and 94.1 FT%. KD also wanted to win this game badly, but not for the reasons you might think. "We didn't want to lose to these guys. Especially Joel [Embiid]," Durant said. "He would've went straight to Twitter and talked [expletive]." We'll have to wait until next year to see what The Process has for the Warriors. Until then, KD is in the mix to be fantasy's top player.
Nov 18 - 11:36 PM

Ben Simmons made 11-of-15 from the field for 23 points with eight rebounds, 12 assists and one steal during a 124-116 loss to the Warriors on Saturday.

The 76ers were incredible in the first quarter with 47 points, but the Warriors returned the favor and then some with a 47-15 edge in the third. Not even the Warriors could limit Simmons because of his size, and he received a lot of praise from Kevin Durant after the game. "Something I've never seen before," Durant said. "[Playing the point guard] with that height, that speed and that strength." Simmons is also like something we've never seen from a fantasy rookie. He has Rookie of the Year in the bag as long as he plays 60 games.
Nov 18 - 11:25 PM

Patrick Beverley (knee) is targeting a return to the lineup on Monday to face the Knicks.

This makes a lot of sense after we saw him put in a good workout before today's game. Beverley seems to be up to speed for the most part and the Clippers missed him badly due their current NBA-high eight game losing streak. Sindarius Thornwell, Juwan Evans, Lou Williams and Austin Rivers should lose some value. Beverley needs to be added in all standard leagues.
Nov 18 - 11:03 PM

John Collins looked great in 25 minutes off the bench vs. Boston, hitting 7-of-8 shots to finish with 18 points, seven rebounds, one assist and one steal.

The rookie's energy is palpable when you watch the Hawks, and he even hit 4-of-4 free throws tonight. Collins somehow failed to get to the line in his previous four games, a span of 93 minutes, but at least we know he won't be a liability when he gets there. He's providing late-round value and should only get better throughout the season, so don't hesitate to grab him.
