Randy Wittman says John Wall will test out his injured left knee Monday, but is not yet cleared for contact.

Wittman's words provide some clarity regarding the earlier statement from Wall's doctor stating the PG was cleared to "increase his activity level." Wittman also said the team will re-evaluate Wall once he gets back on the court. Wall is likely still a few weeks away from returning, but Wall owners will want to check back here next week to see how his knee responds to the added stress.

Jusuf Nurkic (leg) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 against the Warriors.

Nurkic just didn't look quite right during his 17 minutes of action on Saturday, and with Portland falling into a 0-3 hole, there's not much incentive for them to risk Nurkic suffering a setback with this series pretty much over. Noah Vonleh should be back in the starting lineup on Monday with Meyers Leonard, Moe Harkless and Al-Farouq Aminu all spending some minutes at the five-spot.

LeBron James helped the Cavs complete their first-round sweep of the Pacers on Sunday with 33 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, four steals, two blocks, one 3-pointer and four turnovers in 45 minutes.

James has now won 21-straight first-round series, which is the longest streak by any player since 1984, and this was also his 10th sweep in a Best-of-7 playoff series which amounts to the most sweeps by any player in NBA history. He basically got whatever he wanted all game long, had an incredible chase-down block during crunch time, and hit a dagger 3-pointer during the closing minutes; so, par for the course for King James.

Paul George struggled with his shot during Sunday's 106-102 Game 4 loss to the Cavs, going 5-of-21 from the field on his way to 15 points, seven boards, six assists, three triples, three steals, one block and four turnovers in 44 minutes.

George couldn’t buy a bucket through the first half of action, going just 2-of-10 from the field, and it never really got much better after that. While George will end his 2016-17 campaign on a sour note, he did have a solid series overall, and was absolutely incredible after the All-Star break when he willed Indiana into the postseason with averages of 27.0 points, 3.4 triples, 7.6 boards, 3.9 dimes, 1.6 steals and 3.0 turnovers per contest on 48.3 percent shooting. He’ll be worth an early-round selection in next year’s drafts.
Apr 23 - 3:52 PM

Jeff Teague double-doubled during the Pacers' Game 4 loss to the Cavs, recording 15 points, 10 assists, four rebounds, one 3-pointer, two steals, three blocks and three turnovers in 39 minutes.

Teague put himself in a position to take home a pretty nice payday this offseason as an unrestricted free agent after compiling averages of 15.3 points, 7.8 assists, 1.1 triples, 1.2 steals and just 2.6 turnovers per contest on 44.2 percent shooting during his first season in Indiana. It’ll be interesting to see where he winds up, but if he opts to re-sign with the Pacers, he’ll make for a safe mid-round pick in next year’s drafts.
Apr 23 - 3:43 PM

Otto Porter (neck) practiced on Sunday and he's being listed as probable for Monday's Game 4 in Atlanta.

Porter played through the neck strain on Saturday, and it looks like that trend will continue on Monday night, although he could be limited. We should have official confirmation on his status following Monday morning's shootaround.
Apr 23 - 2:24 PM

Marreese Speights will "probably" start Game 4 vs. the Jazz on Sunday according to coach Doc Rivers.

Blake Griffin (toe) is out for the playoffs and Speights started the second half of Game 3, so he was the heavy favorite to start even before Doc's comments. Speights is a great per-minute producer and is certainly on the DFS radar, but the Clippers will likely play a lot of small ball which could keep his minutes around 20. In two starts during the regular season, Speights averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.0 treys in 21.5 minutes.
Apr 23 - 2:00 PM

Rudy Gobert (knee) has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday's Game 4 vs. the Clippers.

He was originally listed as doubtful, but now it sounds like he will be a game-time call. For what it's worth, he did not go through shootaround. With Blake Griffin (toe) out for the playoffs and Gobert on the verge of a return, the Jazz have to feel pretty good about their chances. Gobert will likely have restrictions if he's cleared to play, making him a risky play in DFS. His return would limit the fantasy appeal of Derrick Favors.
Apr 23 - 1:01 PM

C.J. Miles will start over Monta Ellis again in Game 4 vs. the Cavaliers on Sunday.

Miles is generally more aggressive in the second unit, but his splits as a starter and reserve during the regular season are very similar. Miles can get hot in a hurry which makes him a DFS tournament play, but he's also no stranger to duds. In a start in Game 3, Miles scored nine points with two rebounds and one 3-pointer in 25 minutes.

Stephen Curry buried the Blazers during a 119-113 win in Game 3 on Saturday, scoring 34 points with four rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

A 19-1 run in this comeback victory propelled the Dubs to what is now a +47 margin of victory in this series. The Warriors now have a 3-0 lead and one of their biggest strengths in this win was an unusual one with only seven turnovers. Those seven turnovers match a playoff franchise record, and Curry only had one of them en route to his 21st 30-plus scoring game in his postseason career. With this win, the Warriors may opt to take it easier on Kevin Durant for at least one more game. They'll look to close this one out on Monday in Portland.
Apr 23 - 1:56 AM

C.J. McCollum scored a team-high 32 points during a 119-113 Game 3 loss to the Warriors on Saturday, adding six rebounds, two steals and six 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Damian Lillard was right behind C.J. with 31 points in a tough loss. It looked like Dame and C.J. were going to lead the Blazers to a win with a 17-point lead in the second half, but a Warriors outburst in the third quarter was just too much to overcome. The Blazers will likely have more minutes from Jusuf Nurkic on Monday, but they're in what looks to be an insurmountable 0-3 hole. Hopefully, the Blazers can extend this series on Monday.
Apr 23 - 1:37 AM

Mike Conley scored a playoff career-high 35 points during a thrilling 110-108 overtime victory over the Spurs in Game 4 on Saturday, adding nine rebounds, eight assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

Maybe his contract was a bargain after all. Conley just continues to cause defensive breakdowns, including a beautiful drive with five seconds left in regulation to send this one to overtime. As you might expect, coach David Fizdale had some thoughts about his guy. "I don't think we'll be talking about how much money he makes anymore," Fizdale said. Conley always gets the "underrated" tag, but his fantasy owners know that Conley has been absolutely crushing for months. We have a series and Game 5 will break this 2-2 tie on Tuesday.
