Jared Dudley started at small forward once again and scored a season-high 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 43 minutes on Friday against the Jazz.

Dudley has been central to the Suns' last two wins, and after a slow start and corresponding bounce-back last season it's possible he is doing the same thing this year. Owners should give him strong consideration in 12-team formats. Shannon Brown also started but didn't fare as well, scoring six points with three assists in 33 minutes.

Festus Ezeli scored a playoff career-high 12 points against the Rockets on Wednesday, adding nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 28 minutes.

Andrew Bogut was in foul trouble and the Warriors were lucky to get a massive game out of their backup center. Ezeli was only playing 7.5 minutes per game in these playoffs before this win and he's likely earned some extra playing time in the NBA Finals. Considering how much LeBron James likes to get into the paint, the Warriors are likely going to have some fouling issues. Of course, don't expect Festus to play this much.

James Harden turned the ball over an NBA Playoffs record 13 times during a 104-90 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday, adding 14 points with six rebounds, five assists, three steals and no 3-pointers.

To make matters worse, he was just 2-of-11 from the field in what may have been his worst game of his season. Although, Houston's worst stretch tonight was with Harden on the bench. They just went up against a better team and Harden's Rockets should be able to make another playoff run next year. He'll be a top-three pick in fantasy leagues next season, as well.
May 28 - 12:04 AM

Klay Thompson suffered an ear laceration on Wednesday and will return.

The Warriors dodged another concussion bullet and Klay didn't even need concussion testing, according to ESPN's Doris Burke. It looks like he'll be ready for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
May 27 - 11:27 PM

Dwight Howard picked up his seventh technical foul of the postseason on Wednesday.

If this technical is not rescinded, he would be suspended for Game 6 in Houston. Of course, the Rockets would have to win tonight's game for this to be relevant.
May 27 - 10:06 PM

Shelvin Mack will have surgery on his right shoulder.

The Hawks are really, really banged up with the season ending. Mack separated his shoulder and the surgery should take place next week. He'll be nothing more than a backup next season.
May 27 - 9:37 PM

Kyle Korver had right ankle surgery on Wednesday and will be out for three months.

He had surgery to repair ligament damage and should be back for training camp. Teams took a different approach on Korver during the postseason and did a much better job being aware of where he was without the ball. It'll be interesting to see if teams use this strategy next season. Korver is still going to be a middle-round target in fantasy leagues next season.
May 27 - 9:36 PM

Stephen Curry is going through shootaround on Wednesday wearing a right elbow sleeve, but he will play and see his normal amount of minutes in Game 5 vs. the Rockets.

Curry had a scary fall in Game 4 and appeared to hit his head, shoulder and elbow, but he said that he feels fine and that he is dealing with some bruising and general soreness on the right side of his body. For what it's worth, Curry passed the league's concussion protocol twice before he re-entered Monday's game, and he seemed to be fine after that. His elbow could be a little sore, so it will be interesting to see if it has any impact on his shooting stroke. We will pass along any additional details when we know more, but it's safe to activate him in fantasy leagues.
May 27 - 1:34 PM

Beno Udrih will undergo ankle surgery and will not play with the Slovenian national team at Eurobasket this summer.

We don't have a lot of details right now, but it is likely a minor procedure. Udrih played through an ankle issue during the playoffs, but the fact that he won't play with the Slovenian national team means that he will have plenty of time to recover. As always, we will track his progress closely and will update his status once more is known.

Al Horford was invisible during the Hawks' season-ending Game 4 defeat, scoring only two points on 1-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, five assists and one block in 29 minutes.

Horford avoided a suspension for his flying elbow to Matthew Dellavedova's neck in Game 3, but that's where the good news ended. He looked passive on Tuesday, at best, and all but two of his field goal attempts came from mid-range. He shot 58.3 percent in the series but attempted only 9.0 shots per game, giving him a usage rate below 19 percent. Fantasy owners shouldn't let Horford's Conference Finals dud dissuade them on draft day next season, as he's in a contract year and has returned top-20 value in each of the past three seasons when healthy.
May 26 - 11:26 PM

Paul Millsap had 16 points, 10 rebounds and five assists during Game 4, in which the Hawks were swept out of the playoffs with an 88-118 defeat.

A report on Tuesday suggested that Millsap, an impending free agent, may need offseason surgery to repair his sprained right shoulder. The injury clearly plagued him throughout the playoffs -- he led the Hawks with 16.7 points and 7.8 rebounds during the regular season but was down to just 13.8 points on 34.9 percent shooting vs. the Cavs in the Conference Finals. We should have a medical update within a few weeks.
May 26 - 11:24 PM

Kyrie Irving returned from a two-game absence to finish Tuesday's series-clinching victory with 16 points (6-of-11 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), two 3-pointers, four rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in only 22 minutes.

Irving was medically cleared to play and the Cavs opted to start him for a few reasons -- they wanted him to re-establish a rhythm and regain confidence in his knee, and Irving himself was eager to get back on the court. He moved well and avoided any setbacks despite taking a few falls throughout the game, and should benefit enormously with the Finals not beginning until June 4. We'll have copious updates on his health in the coming week, but he should be raring to go for Game 1.
