Ricky Rubio will not play in back-to-back games as he returns from knee surgery, meaning that he could sit out either Monday or Tuesday.

Additionally, Rubio will continue to come off the bench until he's in proper condition. The T-Wolves play against the Magic on Monday and the Heat on Tuesday, so his owners have to prepare for him to miss one of those games. Rubio will be limited to about 18 minutes per game in the "early phase of his return," eventually ramping it up and playing more minutes. "We're still going to be very diligent with this and see how he reacts," Rick Adelman said. When Rubio is out, Luke Ridnour, J.J. Barea and Alexey Shved will all see a bump.

Robert Covington did not score in 19 minutes against the Wizards on Friday with four rebounds and one block.

Not again. Isaiah Canaan played well in the comeback attempt and Jerami Grant was solid as well. Covington's minutes are starting to come down again, but his owners should still stick with him in almost all cases.

Zaza Pachulia was ejected from Friday's game vs. the Spurs after picking up his second technical foul.

The game was a blowout and Zaza let his frustrations get the best of him. He'll end his night with four points, two rebounds, two assists and two turnovers.
Feb 5 - 11:14 PM

Hassan Whiteside put up his third triple-double with blocks of the season during a 98-95 win over the Hornets on Friday, finishing with 10 points, 10 boards and 10 blocks in 27 minutes.

"I'm different, simple as that," Whiteside said. Yes, he is. He's the only player to record multiple triple-doubles with blocks off the bench in his career, and he's had four trip-dubs with blocks in his career while nobody else in the NBA has any in the last three seasons. It's safe to say Whiteside is healthy.
Feb 5 - 11:13 PM

Kevin Love (left thigh) said that he's hopeful to play Saturday vs. the Pelicans.

Love was able to limp out of the arena under his own power, and said he was "okay," and owners can expect to get another update following Saturday morning's shootaround. If Love is unable to play tomorrow, Tristan Thompson would get all the run he can handle, with Kyrie Irving doing a bit more on offense.
Feb 5 - 11:10 PM

Marvin Williams scored 27 points against the Heat on Friday during a 98-95 loss with four rebounds, two assists, one block and two 3-pointers.

His contract-year game is quite strong and the stretch four being en vogue looks great for him. Williams has put to bed any concern of Frank Kaminsky taking his minutes and the return of Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has helped him. Marvin has second-round value in his last eight games.
Feb 5 - 11:03 PM

Trey Burke (flu-like symptoms) will not return to Friday's game vs. the Bucks.

Burke will finish his evening with just one rebound and one assist to his credit, and we're going to consider him questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Suns. If he's out tomorrow, Rodney Hood will likely get all the run he can handle. Burke's game translates better to points formats, but he's not worth owning in standard 8-cat and 9-cat leagues.
Feb 5 - 10:52 PM

Jimmy Butler (left knee sprain) will not return to Friday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Butler was carted off the court, although he was able to walk from the X-ray room to the locker room under his own power, and was in relatively good spirits saying, "Ya'll get me the Forrest Gump knee brace!" Butler is likely headed for an MRI, and for now, we'll be considering him doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Timberwolves. Tony Snell started the second-half in Butler's place, and with Buckets sidelined there will be more opportunity for Derrick Rose and E'Twaun Moore.
Feb 5 - 10:42 PM

Avery Bradley scored 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting Friday, to go with three rebounds, one assist, one block, two turnovers and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Bradley also drained a clutch 3-pointer during the closing seconds of the game (video below) to steal the win on Cleveland's home court. He's been a mid-round guy on the year, and is worth owning in all leagues for his solid contributions to points (14.8), 3-pointers (2.0) and steals (1.6).
Feb 5 - 10:29 PM

Jimmy Butler suffered a left leg injury and was carted off the court in Denver on Friday.

He had a bad collision with Joffrey Lauvergne and had a really ugly fall. Butler was put in a wheelchair for a few seconds, but he got up to shoot the free throws. He did not put much weight on his leg as he was put into the wheelchair again. We'll look for an update shortly, but this does not look good.
Feb 5 - 10:18 PM

Trey Burke left Friday's game with a case of nausea, and he is questionable to return.

He's going to be re-evaluated after half-time, so we'll have another update then. Stay tuned.
Feb 5 - 10:00 PM

Willie Cauley-Stein exited Friday's game vs. the Nets with a calf issue, and he is questionable to return.

The game is a blowout, so WCS is likely done for the night. He'll end his night with 16 points, six rebounds, one block, one steal and two turnovers in 29 minutes, and we'll be considering him questionable for Sunday's game in Boston.
