Eric Gordon (knee) will rejoin the Hornets on Saturday, and although he's no longer experiencing any discomfort, there is no timetable for him to return to action.

Gordon will return from his rehab that he was doing in Los Angeles, but GM Dell Demps said that the club won't make any determinations about when Gordon will play until he goes through a few practices. "Coming out here definitely was the best thing because I'm better mentally and physically," Gordon said. He's not expected to play until the end of December at the earliest, but it appears he's finally close to getting on the court. There's definite risk here given his injury history, but Gordon shouldn't be on the waiver wire in any format.

Anthony Davis piled up 37 points (14-of-32 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs) with 15 rebounds, four blocks, two steals and two assists on Sunday, but it wasn't enough to avoid a road loss to the Thunder.

Davis was simply unstoppable for stretches tonight, but he got negligible help from his teammates. His offensive exploits shouldn't obscure the fact that he ranks first in blocks (2.7), fourth in defensive rebounds (9.1), and is holding opponents to 4.4 percent below their typical shooting averages against him. Expect another monster effort vs. the visiting Grizzlies on Monday.
Dec 4 - 9:50 PM

Buddy Hield scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting on Sunday, making four 3-pointers with four rebounds and one assist in just 15 minutes.

Hield shot at least three airballs but they didn't rattle his confidence in front of an appreciative OKC audience (he played for the University of Oklahoma). The Pelicans' lottery pick was even instrumental in a too-little, too-late comeback in the fourth quarter. He hadn't scored double-digit points since Nov. 12, however, and we'll need to see him do this a few more times before recommending him in re-draft leagues.
Dec 4 - 9:49 PM

Tim Frazier shifted to a bench role vs. the Thunder on Sunday, where he went scoreless on 0-of-5 shooting with four rebounds, two steals and one assist in 16 minutes.

Frazier started the Pelicans' previous game alongside Jrue Holiday, but that small backcourt didn't last long. He hasn't scored double-digit points in any of the past four games and the impending return of Tyreke Evans won't help matters, so Frazier's owners should at least be keeping an eye on potential waiver-wire additions.
Dec 4 - 9:47 PM

Russell Westbrook finished Sunday's win, the Thunder's fifth straight, with 28 points, 17 rebounds, 12 assists and 10 turnovers in 38 minutes.

In a clash between the league's top two scorers, Westbrook and Anthony Davis, it was Westy who came out on top. In your daily Westbrook-in-history update, he's now the first player since Michael Jordan in 1989 to have five consecutive triple-doubles. He came in averaging 31.2 points, 11.3 assists and 10.5 boards, of course, and nothing is surprising at this point.
Dec 4 - 9:43 PM

Serge Ibaka filled up the boxscore on Sunday with 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting, two 3-pointers, seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and four blocked shots.

Ibaka got off to a slow start this season but he's coming on strong in Orlando's past dozen games, averaging 16.1 points, 7.6 boards, 2.3 blocks, 1.5 triples and 1.0 assists, on 50.0 percent FGs and 87.5 percent FTs. That's good for top-30 value and he shows no signs of slowing down.
Dec 4 - 8:39 PM

Reggie Jackson (knee, thumb) looked sharp in his season debut on Sunday, posting 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting with four assists in just 23 minutes as a starter.

The Pistons were limiting Jackson to around five minutes per quarter, a number that should slowly creep up in the coming weeks. He's obviously a must-own player now that he's back on the court, and he looked good enough tonight to activate in nearly all lineups. If you were relying on Ish Smith for assists this season, it's time to start monitoring the waiver wire for a promising pickup.
Dec 4 - 8:34 PM

Steven Adams will not return on Sunday after spraining his left ankle in the first quarter.

Adams dealt with a sprained right ankle earlier this season, so at least it's not a related injury. His absence means plenty of minutes for Enes Kanter on Sunday, and plenty of problems for OKC's defense vs. Anthony Davis. The Thunder have a quick turnaround vs. the Hawks on Monday, and owners should consider Adams questionable until further notice.
Dec 4 - 7:54 PM

Paul George (ankle) and C.J. Miles (knee) will both play vs. the Clippers on Sunday.

The Pacers have a clean injury report tonight, which means that Kevin Seraphin (knee) is also available to play after an extended absence. It's obviously safe to fire up George in all formats, and Miles is a sneaky pickup given how well he played to start the season.
Dec 4 - 7:03 PM

Justin Holiday and Joakim Noah will start Sunday vs. the Kings.

Courtney Lee (ankle) is out, so Holiday should be seeing around 30 minutes tonight, and he's on the DFS radar with a favorable matchup against Sacramento. With Noah back in the starting five, Kyle O'Quinn will return to the bench, and he might not even get 20 minutes.
Dec 4 - 6:55 PM

Jaokim Noah (ankle) will start Sunday vs. the Kings.

With Noah active, Kyle O'Quinn's minutes will likely return to the teens, and Willy Hernangomez's value will also take a decent sized hit. Noah is averaging just 4.0 points, 8.1 boards and 3.1 assists per game on the year, so he's not a great option in standard leagues.
Dec 4 - 5:54 PM

Courtney Lee (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Kings.

Justin Holiday will likely be drawing the start tonight, and he's someone to consider in DFS after putting up 13 points, seven boards, three steals, one block and two triples over 31 minutes in a spot-start on Friday night. For now, we'll be considering Lee questionable for Tuesday's game in Miami.
