Kawhi Leonard (quad) will play on Friday, but he expects to come off the bench.

He's not on a minutes restriction, and he was averaging 29 before going down. As a starter, Leonard is averaging 10.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.0 steals and a 3-pointer, and although he's likely coming off the bench Friday, he's got a good chance to make an impact immediately.

The Grizzlies have declined Lance Stephenson's $9.4 million team option.

He'll be a free agent and should get interest from plenty of teams. Although, Stephenson was out of the rotation at times with the Clippers before the trade deadline. Thanks to numerous injuries to the Grizzlies, he put up averages of 14.2 points, 4.4 boards, 2.8 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.4 treys in his final 26 regular season games. Stephenson led the league in triple-doubles back in 2013-14, but he will likely just be a role player next year.

The Hornets are looking to re-sign Marvin Williams, sources told ESPN's Chris Broussard.

It makes plenty of sense given Williams enjoyed a breakout season that featured consistent production under Steve Clifford, and the veteran is a nice presence in the locker room for a team that is undoubtedly still growing. However, it's unclear how Williams' role could change with a healthy Michael Kidd-Gilchrist if Nicolas Batum returns as Frank Kaminsky is also in the mix for minutes at the four.

The Lakers could get a free agent meeting with DeMar DeRozan, according to Sam Amick of USA Today.

Although it was reported that DeRozan is focused on working out a new deal in Toronto and was not seeking meetings with other teams, Amick writes that the Lakers remain lurking in the background. Other teams known to have interest in DeRozan include the Clippers, Warriors, Heat, Knicks and Magic. To be clear, Amick makes it obvious that the Raptors should be considered in a class alone as the frontrunners for DeRozan's services.

Bismack Biyombo wants to re-sign with the Raptors, a source told USA Today's Sam Amick.

According to Amick, Biyombo is willing to be patient while Toronto figures things out with DeMar DeRozan, the team's top priority in free agency. However, it's one thing to take that stance now, and it's entirely another when interested clubs are throwing as much as $15-$17M annually in your face. If DeRozan is willing to take a slight discount, it could greatly help in allowing for Biyombo's Toronto return. We'll soon learn how it will all play out.

Although Charlotte would like to re-sign Jeremy Lin, the Hornets are "fearful" that they'll lose him in free agency, sources told ESPN's Chris Broussard.

The Hornets don't have Lin's Bird Rights, so that makes re-signing him more complicated than it otherwise could be. Lin is expected to meet with three other clubs as soon as free agency opens, and his priority this summer is to find a club that believes in him so he can find a real NBA home. "I've played six years in the NBA; I've played on five different teams. I've played for two D-League teams -- so seven cities in six years. I'm tired of boxes, I'm tired of moving companies, and I want to find a home," he said. "I want to see how good I can become," Lin said. "I'm 27, and an athlete's prime, or at least in the NBA, your prime is usually 27-30. That's when you kind of peak physically [and] mentally and that's where most players perform their best. So I'm going into my prime and I want to see how great I can be as a player, and that's my purpose in free agency -- so I'll just exhaust every opportunity to see which one will be the best for me."

The Pelicans are not expected to make a "strong push" to re-sign Ryan Anderson, according to John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

This is hardly a surprise, and it seems like both sides have been bracing for this outcome since long before the season officially ended. Ryno is looking for a big payday in free agency, and it's overwhelmingly likely to come from someone other than New Orleans. Depending on how it all shakes out, Anthony Davis could be spending a lot more time at the four than the five in 2016-17.

Marc Gasol (foot) still does not have medical clearance, according to a report from Marca.com.

Despite being included on Spain's 20-man roster for the 2016 Olympics, it's basically impossible to envision any kind of participation for the big man. Gasol had surgery toward the end of February, so we're now more than four months beyond the date of the operation. If the slow progress continues to linger this summer, Gasol's fantasy stock will be impacted accordingly.

Kevin Durant has added free agent meetings with the Heat, Clippers and Celtics to his agenda, a source told ESPN's Chris Broussard.

The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski previously reported that KD's reps were working to secure meetings with all three aforementioned teams, so this isn't a big surprise. In addition to Miami, Los Angeles and Boston, Durant is already known to be meeting with Golden State, San Antonio and Oklahoma City. Per Broussard, Durant is "considering meeting with the New York Knicks, but has no plans to talk to his hometown Washington Wizards." The Los Angeles Lakers are not expected to receive a meeting with KD, either.

The Pacers traded for Jeff Teague with the intention of signing him to a long-term contract extension, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

It makes plenty of sense with Teague entering the final year of his current deal. It's unclear when negotiations may take place or what Teague could command, but Woj reports that Teague was "eager" to be moved and is "thrilled" to land with the Pacers. The veteran PG should receive the bulk of the playing time at his position, but his fantasy appeal isn't as attractive on the surface as it was during his Atlanta tenure.

The Hawks are "planning to negotiate" a potential contract extension with Dennis Schroder, sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

With Jeff Teague having been moved to the Pacers, the runway is clear for Dennis "The Jet" Schroder to take off. In other words: Nintendo DS is about to be lit. Schroder has no real current competition for playing time at the position, though Atlanta should be expected to sign a veteran backup to serve behind their new starter. Schroder is a per-minute monster, averaging 19.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.8 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.7 3PM and 4.1 turnovers per 36 minutes during the 2015-16 campaign.

Marco Belinelli has suffered a fracture of his jaw bone, according to Sportando.

The report also states that Belinelli is expected to join training camp for the national team on Tuesday, so it's unclear how long he may be sidelined. After the Hornets just surprisingly traded the No. 22 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft in exchange for Belinelli's services, Charlotte has to be hopeful this injury doesn't have a long-term impact.
