Nene will not play Friday night against the Pistons due to flu-like symptoms.

While we're not doubting Nene's illness, it comes a day after he admitted that he is still feeling pain in his left foot. Either way, owners will want to get him out of their lineups for Friday. Kevin Seraphin got the start in place of Nene and owners should be patient with him if possible. Earl Barron and Chris Singleton could also see some additional time Friday.

Lonzo Ball posted the second triple-double of his NBA career on Sunday with 11 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 40 minutes.

The Lakers snapped a two-game losing streak tonight and Ball continues to be a fantasy dynamo, with the glaring exception of percentages (30.8% FGs and 46.2% FTs). In every other respect he's been awesome, averaging 6.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.1 threes and 0.9 blocks. His fantasy value hinges on each league's scoring settings -- if you can ignore percentages, the 20-year-old is already a stud.
Nov 20 - 12:50 AM

Julius Randle lit up the Nuggets on Sunday for a season-high 24 points on 11-of-18 shooting, hitting one 3-pointer with seven rebounds, five assists and two turnovers.

Randle played 32 minutes, after logging just 16 minutes vs. Phoenix on Friday, and after the game coach Luke Walton said, "When [Randle] plays like he did tonight, he's as good as anyone in this league]." Nikola Jokic (ejection) and Paul Millsap (wrist) were both out after halftime tonight, and Randle deserves credit for taking advantage of the situation, but we're skeptical since Kyle Kuzma is playing well at PF and Larry Nance (hand) is due back soon.
Nov 20 - 12:46 AM

Gary Harris made 7-of-13 shots including four 3-pointers on Sunday, finishing a loss vs. the Lakers with a team-high 20 points in 33 minutes of action

Harris added three rebounds and one block, and his scoring ability became even more important with Nikola Jokic getting ejected in the second quarter tonight. His recent shoulder injury is a non-factor since he's been hyper-efficient with 66.7% shooting over the past two games (4.0 triples per game). Harris is rolling along as a top-50 roto value.
Nov 20 - 12:27 AM

Paul Millsap exited Sunday's game with a left wrist sprain, finishing with five points, four rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 13 minutes.

Millsap headed into the locker room and emerged with his wrist taped in the first half, but Will Barton replaced him in the starting lineup after halftime. This could be a simple precaution, especially since Nikola Jokic was ejected early and Denver trailed by 22 points at halftime, but we'll consider Millsap questionable for Monday's road game in Sacramento.
Nov 19 - 11:28 PM

Lauri Markkanen was terrific vs. Phoenix on Sunday, hitting 10-of-18 shots with four 3-pointers for 26 points, 13 rebounds and two assists in 34 minutes.

The Bulls' prized rookie has been an amazing value for fantasy owners, coming in with averages of 14.8 points, 2.5 triples, 7.6 boards, 1.6 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.6 blocks and just 1.3 turnovers. He's shot 82.4% from the line, which has made up for 43.7% from the field, and the sky is the limit if tonight's efficiency becomes a trend.
Nov 19 - 11:13 PM

T.J. Warren made 13-of-20 shots to finish Sunday's win vs. Chicago with 27 points, adding seven rebounds, two blocks, one steal and one assist in 33 minutes.

The scoring leaps out, of course, but owners in category-based leagues will appreciate Warren's defensive stats tonight -- he came in averaging 0.7 steals and 0.8 blocks, and any increase in those categories will give him a nice boost. Warren is proving himself as a go-to option offensively, after Devin Booker, and the rebuilding Suns will feed him the ball all season.
Nov 19 - 11:05 PM

Jimmy Butler lit up the Pistons on Sunday with 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting, 10 rebounds, five steals, four assists and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

Butler drew a critical foul on a 3-point shot with 6.2 seconds remaining, giving him a chance to tie the game, but the 90.5 percent FT shooter missed the third attempt. The Wolves' three-game win streak was snapped, but fantasy owners are still thrilled -- this was the second time all season that Butler has shot better than 50% from the field, and he's now scored 21+ points in four of his past five games. He's stealing the ball at a furious clip and it's safe to assume that the buy-low window has closed.
Nov 19 - 9:53 PM

Jamal Crawford (migraine) didn't play after halftime on Sunday, which leaves him questionable to face the Hornets on Monday.

Crawford finished with six points on 3-of-6 shooting and two turnovers in seven minutes. The Wolves lost a close game tonight, 100-97, so Crawford's absence was more than precautionary. If he can't go vs. Charlotte, expect Andrew Wiggins and Jimmy Butler to log huge minutes, with Shabazz Muhammad and Tyus Jones potentially getting extra run.
Nov 19 - 9:52 PM

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson had 16 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and four turnovers in a losing effort vs. Golden State on Sunday.

RHJ's assists and rebounds were both season-highs, and he seems locked into mid-round roto value through 15 games. The biggest leap has come offensively, with his 14.1 points on 47.8% FGs and 83.1% FTs, all of which shatter his previous career-highs. He's just 22 years old and we've yet to glimpse his fantasy ceiling.
Nov 19 - 9:07 PM

Allen Crabbe tied his season-high with 25 points on Sunday, hitting 9-of-19 shots with six 3-pointers, seven rebounds, two assists and three turnovers in 34 minutes.

The Nets rank No. 1 in the league in pace, while the Warriors are No. 5, so this was bound to be a high-scoring affair. In addition to the fast pace, Brooklyn launched a ridiculous 48 three-point attempts tonight. Crabbe's shot attempts were easily a team-high, and he looks like a clear beneficiary with D'Angelo Russell (knee) on the shelf indefinitely.
Nov 19 - 9:06 PM

Klay Thompson notched his third career double-double on Sunday with 23 points, 10 rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block in 33 minutes of action.

The Warriors fell into an early hole vs. the Sixers on Saturday, but tonight it was their inability to hold the lead that nearly cost them -- they held on to beat the Nets, 118-111. Klay stepped up offensively with Kevin Durant (ankle) out tonight, finishing 10-of-17 from the field and 2-of-2 from the line, and he's on cruise control for fantasy purposes.
