Jonas Valanciunas left Friday's game in the first quarter with a fractured right ring finger and did not return.

A fractured finger on his shooting hand could result in a similar absence to what we've seen out of Kyrie Irving and Stephen Jackson lately, which would be about 3-4 weeks. We're not saying that this will be his timeline, but it's something to think about. Ed Davis and Amir Johnson are going to be must-own players in 12-team formats if that sort of timeline is released, so owners should give them strong consideration right now before the news hits.

Al Jefferson (groin) is probable for Saturday's game against the Magic.

He scored just four points on Friday, so it is clearly obvious that his groin has been an issue for him. However, as long as Big Al is active he should be in all lineups.
Dec 27 - 1:30 PM

C.J. Miles (illness) is considered questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Nets.

He is dealing with an upper respiratory infection so he likely won't be close to 100 percent even if he does play. Miles has been much better than he was at the beginning of the season, and if he can stay on the court he will continue to be worth a look in standard leagues for his 3-point shooting. Expect Solomon Hill to play big minutes if Miles sits, while Chris Copeland might jump back into the rotation as well.
Dec 27 - 1:24 PM

Rodney Stuckey (face) is now probable for Saturday's game against the Nets.

He is dealing with some swelling in his right eye but it isn't believed to be too serious. If Stuckey can't go, expect George Hill and C.J. Watson to see an uptick in minutes.
Dec 27 - 1:21 PM

Alec Burks (shoulder) is doubtful for Saturday's game against the 76ers.

He missed the morning shootaround and his status is not looking good against the 76ers. Check back before tip-off for the official word, and expect Rodney Hood and Joe Ingles to get some extra playing time if Burks sits out. Stay tuned.
Dec 27 - 1:14 PM

Zach Randolph (knee) is now considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Heat.

He was recently considered doubtful for this contest, so it appears that Z-Bo is nearing a return. Check back closer to tip-off for official confirmation, and expect Jon Leuer and Kosta Koufos to pick up extra minutes if Randolph sits. Stay tuned.
Dec 27 - 12:32 PM

J.R. Smith (heel) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings.

He has missed eight straight games because of his plantar fasciitis, so even if he does play he will likely be eased into action. Smith is worth a flier in deeper leagues for his ability to knock down 3-pointers, but owners in standard leagues can safely monitor him from the waiver wire. Tim Hardaway Jr. will continue playing big minutes if Smith sits this one out. Stay tuned.
Dec 27 - 12:22 PM

Amare Stoudemire will not play vs. the Kings on Saturday due to a sore right knee, and also said that he will likely rest on Sunday.

His knee recently flared up on him during a flight home, and he will have tests on his knee when he returns to New York. Coach Derek Fisher hinted recently that Stoudemire would be looking at more recovery days in the future, meaning his value will likely plummet. Stoudemire should be considered day-to-day for now, and he is said to be targeting Dec. 31 for his return. With Quincy Acy (suspension) also out on Saturday, it will be up to Cole Aldrich, Jason Smith, and Travis Wear to fill the void.
Dec 27 - 12:17 PM

Spencer Hawes (knee) has been upgraded to doubtful for Saturday's game.

He wasn't expected to be ready in time for Saturday's game, so even if he doesn't play it is a great sign that he is getting closer. However, Hawes is still only an asset in deeper leagues, and it will remain that way unless Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan suffers an injury. If Hawes sits this one, Glen Davis may see a few extra minutes in the rotation.
Dec 27 - 11:34 AM

Shawne Williams is dealing with a really sore foot, and he is now considered a game-time decision for Saturday's game against Memphis.

Chris Bosh (calf) was already ruled out for this one, meaning the Heat may be forced to give Udonis Haslem big minutes Saturday. Check back for official confirmation before tip-off, but owners should have a backup plan ready. However, don't look towards Haslem, as he simply doesn't have enough upside to play in almost any format.
Dec 27 - 11:06 AM

Chris Bosh (calf) will not play on Saturday vs. Memphis.

Bosh was targeting this game for his return, but he will unfortunately remain on the sidelines and his owners will have to remain patient. Shawne Williams (foot) is also suddenly questionable for Saturday's contest, meaning Udonis Haslem would likely play all the minutes he can handle. Stay tuned.
Dec 27 - 11:02 AM

Jared Dudley made NBA history during Friday's game, becoming the first player to hit 10 or more shots while connecting on three 3-pointers without a miss.

This arguably goes down as one of the craziest performances in the NBA this season, and if you played Jared Dudley in daily leagues you were more than likely handsomely rewarded. While Dudley will probably never come close to doing this again, he has earned a decent role in Milwaukee following the loss of Jabari Parker (leg) for the season. If you are in need of 3-pointers and steals, Dudley is worth a look.
