Luol Deng said after Saturday's game that his shoulder injury is "more than a stinger ... it's a sprained something."

The good news is that Deng intends to play through the injury. He logged 34 minutes on Saturday, but he shot just 5-of-14 from the field and we'll be watching to see whether this affects his accuracy. We're considering him probable for Tuesday's game, but owners should be on the lookout for updates.

Demarcus Cousins (illness) will play on Saturday vs. the Knicks.

This is fantastic news, as Cousins is going to absolutely feast on Cold Aldrich. Get Cousins in all lineups and don't think twice about it.
Dec 27 - 9:09 PM

Marreese Speights will draw another start against Minnesota on Saturday.

Festus Ezeli (ankle) and Andrew Bogut (knee) are both sidelined, so Speights will continue to see extended run with the first team. However, Bogut is nearing a return and David Lee is finally healthy, so it is only a matter of time before Speights heads back to the waiver wire, as there simply aren't enough minutes to go around in Golden State.
Dec 27 - 8:51 PM

Cole Aldrich and Jason Smith are starting against the Kings on Saturday.

They'll get to guard DeMarcus Cousins, so good luck. Aldrich has played much better on the offensive side while Samuel Dalembert's mental mistakes have piled up. He'll have to hit the boards pretty hard to be a fantasy factor, but it's possible.
Dec 27 - 8:36 PM

J.R. Smith (heel) will not play on Saturday vs. the Kings.

This will be the ninth straight game on the sidelines for Smith, but the good news is that it appears he is getting closer to a return. Tim Hardaway Jr. will continue to start for the Knicks and is worth a look in all leagues.
Dec 27 - 8:36 PM

George Hill started against the Nets on Saturday.

The team didn't announce the starting lineup until tip. Hill will start next to Rodney Stuckey and move C.J. Watson to the bench. Hill should be owned in all leagues based on his high usage and 3-point shooting.
Dec 27 - 8:12 PM

Luc Mbah a Moute (calf) will not play on Saturday against the Jazz.

This is a new injury for Mbah a Moute. The 76ers tend to keep their players out longer than most teams and he has missed a lot of time due to injury in his career, so he's likely out for a handful of games. While he's out, it'll be a collective effort from K.J. McDaniels, JaKarr Sampson, Robert Covington and Henry Sims picking up extra run.
Dec 27 - 7:49 PM

Shawne Williams (foot) is starting against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

He needed a lot of time to warm up and was truly a game-time decision. Williams isn't very involved in the offense and is more of just a floor spacer, so he's not going to have many chances to put up big numbers. Plus, Chris Bosh (calf) is getting closer, so keep him on the wire.
Dec 27 - 7:20 PM

Alec Burks (shoulder) will not play on Saturday vs. the 76ers.

This does not bode well for Burks' status moving forward, and it is already known that he may need surgery in the offseason. He is said to be dealing with some general soreness, so he should be fine with a little rest. Consider Burks day-to-day for now, and expect Rodney Hood to draw the start while Joe Ingles could also see an uptick in minutes.
Dec 27 - 7:10 PM

Rodney Stuckey (eye) will play against the Nets on Saturday.

Everything must have went well despite Stuckey having some problems with the upper part of his eye. His shooting percentage could be at risk tonight, which is troubling considering he's one of the least efficient players in the NBA. Start him at your own peril.
Dec 27 - 6:57 PM

Larry Sanders (illness) will not play against the Hawks on Saturday.

He keeps missing games for strange reasons and this will be his second consecutive DNP due to an illness. The Bucks will have to lean on Zaza Pachulia and John Henson to handle their minutes at center while Johnny O'Bryant should get another start at power forward. Sanders isn't a must-own player.
Dec 27 - 6:49 PM

Rodney Stuckey (eye) is having some problems with the light on Saturday and is warming up to face the Nets.

Technically, he is probable, but we would consider him questionable to play. Stuckey was in a lot of pain on Friday and needed assistance, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him sit. Stay tuned.
