Avery Bradley (shoulders) will not play on Christmas.

Doc Rivers had hinted that Bradley could return as soon as Tuesday, but we thought that was a bit too optimistic. He's listed as day-to-day and could make his regular season debut within the next week or so.

Kevin Love (head) has to undergo additional tests on Saturday and said that his status for Game 7 on Sunday is a "toss-up."

The Cavs have not yet officially announced if Love entered concussion protocol on Friday night. If he did, it highly unlikely he will be cleared by league doctors in time to play Game 7. Per ESPN, the next stage of the evaluation process won't be possible until Love has a night's rest. We should have an update by Saturday afternoon.

Spurs assistant coaches Ettore Messina and Ime Udoka interviewed with the Raptors for the franchise's head coaching job on Thursday and Friday, respectively, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com.

The Raptors went to the Texas assistant well the last time, but it was with Dwane Casey and the Mavs. Messina and Udoka are two of the top three assistant coaches with Messina taking the head job while Gregg Popovich was away from the team in April. The Raptors have also looked into internal options with Nick Nurse, Rex Kalamian and G-League coach Jerry Stackhouse. Hopefully, they have a hire well before the NBA Draft.

LeBron James displayed his greatness again during a Game 6 109-99 win in Cleveland on Friday, scoring 46 points with 11 rebounds, nine assists, three steals, one block and five 3-pointers in 46 minutes.

GOAT? Make that his 13th playoff game with at least a 40/10/5 line in his career, which is way more than anyone else ever (Michael Jordan had four, per basketballreference.com). He's also been unreal in elimination games with either a 40-point game or a triple-double in each of his last seven of such games. LeBron did tweak his lower right leg after Larry Nance fell on him, but James stayed in the game because he's LeBron James. He hasn't missed any of his 234 playoff games in his career, and now he'll be playing in his 100th game of the season on Sunday. We're going to Game 7, baby.
May 25 - 11:40 PM

Jeff Green scored 14 points with three rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes against the Celtics on Friday.

He started the second half for Kevin Love (head) and gave the Cavs some of his best minutes of the series. Green had been playing well against the Raptors, but he was losing minutes up until today. He was terrific in the post on offense to take at least a little pressure of LeBron James, and he was in the right spots on D. Coach Ty Lue would almost certainly have to extend Green's minutes while Love is on the shelf. He'd be a DFS play on Sunday.
May 25 - 11:27 PM

Terry Rozier was terrific in a 109-99 losing effort in Cleveland on Friday, scoring 28 points with three rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one turnover and six 3-pointers.

He was 10-of-16 from the field and made both free throws to get him to a sterling 1.56 points per possession. The Cavs were really limiting Al Horford on screen-and-roll plays, so that helped get Rozier open. Maybe the Cavs dared Rozier to shoot the ball because of his road woes, so perhaps they won't have a similar plan in Game 7. He's been awesome at home all postseason.
May 25 - 11:23 PM

Jaylen Brown made 11-of-18 from the field for 27 points with three rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes against the Cavs in Game 6 on Friday.

He was on a heater in the first quarter, scoring 15 of Boston's 25 points with Brown scoring the final nine of the frame. Brown was extremely aggressive on the offensive end and he didn't turn the ball over, but it wasn't his best defensive game. If Marcus Morris plays poorly again, Brown may have to defend LeBron James more, which could hurt his offensive output.
May 25 - 11:18 PM

Kevin Love (head) has been ruled out for the rest of the game on Friday.

He is being evaluated from a concussion and has been out since the middle of the first quarter. Love had a concussion back in March, had another one back in the 2016 NBA Finals, and has a history beyond that, too. Luckily for the Cavs tonight, Jeff Green and Larry Nance have stepped up. That'll continue tonight while Love is questionable to play on Sunday.
May 25 - 9:44 PM

Terry Rozier, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Aron Baynes and Al Horford will start again on Friday against the Cavs.

This time, coach Ty Lue should be expecting Semi Ojeleye to be on the bench. Kidding aside, Lue also gave credit to coach Brad Stevens for the Baynes move, which helped out Horford in Game 5. Marcus Morris is still going to see minutes in the up 30 and will be the main defender on LeBron James.
May 25 - 7:03 PM

Coach Mike D'Antoni says that Eric Gordon will start Game 6 against the Warriors on Saturday.

With Chris Paul being out due to a right hamstring strain, it's no surprise Gordon will get the start here. It's Gordon's first start of the playoffs and the Rockets will need him to step up to replace how well CP3 has played over the last couple of games. Paul's status going forward is still uncertain, so Gordon could also start on Monday in Game 7 if the Warriors win Game 6 on Saturday.
May 25 - 1:18 PM

Chris Paul will not play in Game 6 on Saturday against Golden State due to a right hamstring strain.

CP3 tweaked his right hamstring late in the fourth quarter of Game 5 on Thursday. He'll be re-evaluated again once the team returns to Houston, but this is not the news that the Rockets wanted to hear. Eric Gordon will have to step up on the offensive end in a major way, which he's shown he can do. This season when Paul and James Harden were sitting, Gordon averaged 34.6 points and 6.5 assists per 40 minutes. He played 36 minutes in Game 5, his most of this postseason. Expect somewhere around there again in Game 6.
May 25 - 12:25 PM

James Harden struggled in a 98-94 victory over the Warriors in Game 5, making 5-of-21 from the field for 19 points with three rebounds, four assists, two steals and six turnovers in 39 minutes.

It was an absolutely brutal game and now Harden has missed 20 treys in a row, including 11 misses tonight to tie him with John Starks in 1994 for most 3-point attempts without a make in a playoff game. Harden is going to have to play better in the rest of this series because of Chris Paul (hamstring) likely being limited or out. He may also have to see more Andre Iguodala (leg). Even though the Rockets have a 3-2 lead, you could argue they're the underdogs to win this series unless we get good news on CP3.
