Phil Jackson's agent, Todd Musburger, told TNT's David Aldridge via text that Jackson "has no interest in the Nets' job at this time."

That makes two big names to publicly deny interest in the job vacated after the Nets fired Avery Johnson earlier today. Stan Van Gundy made a similar statement earlier Thursday via an email to SI.com, although it's possible both coaches -- particularly Jackson -- are just angling for a larger payday. That said, money has never been an object for Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, so don't expect that to stand in the way. As for the Nets' poorly shaped roster and moody PG? Well, that's another story. Stay tuned. This one should be interesting.

Emmanuel Mudiay (right ankle sprain) will Saturday vs. Orlando.

Mudiay missed Thursday's game due to the ankle issue. However, prior to spraining his ankle, Mudiay had been struggling mightily. In his last five games, Mudiay is averaging 7.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.6 turnovers in 25.2 minutes, while shooting a horrid 28.0 percent from the floor, 18.8 percent from downtown, and 63.6 percent from the free throw line. It is unknown if he will be on a minutes restriction Saturday.

Bismack Biyombo (sprained/strained shoulder) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Biyombo appeared to injure the shoulder on a block attempt in the second half on Friday night. He played only 16 minutes. Nikola Vucevic (back) and Jeff Green (ankle) are both questionable for Saturday as well, so the Magic frontcourt situation appears extremely muddled at the moment. If both Biyombo and Vucevic can't play Saturday, Serge Ibaka would be asked to play all the minutes he could possibly handle. Orlando would also activate Stephen Zimmerman, and possibly start him at center.

Nikola Vucevic (lower back contusion) is questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Vucevic injured his back on Friday night in a bad spill after being undercut by Roy Hibbert. Bismack Biyombo (shoulder) and Jeff Green (ankle) are also questionable, so there is a chance the Magic's frontcourt will be extremely shorthanded on Saturday. Check back for an official update closer to game time. If both Vucevic and Biyombo are out, Serge Ibaka would play all the minutes he could handle and Orlando would also likely be forced to play Stephen Zimmerman and/or Arinze Onuaku.

Toronto believes Kyle Lowry's heavy usage and minutes per game average is a "big concern."

Lowry has played more minutes (859) than any player in the NBA thus far this season. "It’s a big concern. We watch it. We try to keep it down as much as we can, but at the same time we’re trying to win games," coach Dwane Casey said. Lowry agrees, even though he’s not thrilled about the possibility of extended rest down the line. "We’ve been trying to cut my minutes down," Lowry said. "Whenever [the coaches] want me to sit down I’ma do it, but right now I love to play the game of basketball, man." The problem is Lowry has been so good, it's difficult to sit him when he's clearly healthy.

Hassan Whiteside told reporters he hurt his left knee in the second quarter of Friday night's loss to Cleveland.

The injury doesn't seem overly serious, as Whiteside was able to start the third quarter. However, coach Erik Spoelstra benched him less than three minutes into the second half. Whiteside didn't get back in the game until the fourth quarter. Spo downplayed the issue with Whiteside's knee and said the benching had more to do with lack of effort and intensity. The Heat play Saturday in Chicago, so we should have an update soon. It seems unlikely at this point that Whiteside would miss any time, but if he does Willie Reed would be the biggest beneficiary.
Dec 10 - 9:12 AM

Lou Williams scored 35 points on 10-of-19 shooting in Friday's 119-115 loss to the Suns, adding five rebounds, two assists, one steal and six triples in 35 minutes.

The Lakers have lost five straight games, but Williams has been one of the hottest players in the league in that span, averaging 30.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 3.4 treys on 48.9 percent shooting. The Lakers could get Nick Young (calf) back as soon as Monday's game vs. the Kings, so Williams' value should trend down a bit.
Dec 10 - 1:46 AM

Carmelo Anthony started hot during a 103-100 win over the Kings on Friday, adding seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers

He scored 15 points in the first quarter and eight in the second to get the ball rolling. After Melo failed to go to the line on Wednesday, he made an extra effort to get there tonight and converted a season-high 12 shots from there. Anthony still hasn't quite hit his stride from an efficiency standpoint while his boards, dimes and steals are all down from last year, but his fantasy owners can't complain. He gets a great matchup against the Lakers on Sunday.
Dec 10 - 1:43 AM

Nick Young (calf) is hoping to be ready for Monday's game vs. the Kings.

If he does play, he will crush the original timetable he was given. Young was averaging 13.3 points, 1.1 assists and 2.6 triples before the injury, so feel free to pick him up if you're targeting points and triples. Jordan Clarkson, Lou Williams and Brandon Ingram could each lose a few minutes upon Young's return.
Dec 10 - 1:38 AM

DeMarcus Cousins scored 28 points with 12 rebounds, six assists, three steals and one block during a 103-100 home loss to the Knicks on Friday.

In Boogie fashion, he made fun of Joakim Noah's free throw form from, but the two hugged it out later. But he also picked up his league-leading eighth technical foul of the season, as well. For those of you scoring at home, that means he's halfway to a suspension and it's still early December. Cousins was 9-of-25 from the field in this game and has cooled off on the efficiency front with a sub-40 percentage from the field in three of his last four. He'll have a really tough matchup against Rudy Gobert on Saturday.
Dec 10 - 1:31 AM

Eric Bledsoe scored 30 points with nine assists, four rebounds, three steals, one block and three triples in Friday's win over the Lakers.

Not a bad way to celebrate his 27th birthday. Bledsoe shot 10-of-18 from the field and 7-of-8 from the line for the 11th 30-point game of his career. Bledsoe has shown flashes this season, so hopefully he can keep it going in a favorable matchup with the Pelicans on Sunday.
Dec 10 - 1:25 AM

Andre Drummond made 10-of-13 from the field for 22 points during a 117-90 win at Minnesota on Friday, adding 22 boards and one block in 28 minutes.

He is back and he has been on fire since his ejection on Nov. 29. In his previous five, he had a 24.1 rebounding percentage, a 23.0 usage rate, a 60 true shooting percentage, 17.0 points, 14.2 boards, 1.4 steals and 1.8 blocks. The return of Reggie Jackson hasn't been the reason either with Drummond having a much higher efficiency without Jackson in the last four -- Drummond is cleaning up in the paint. Whatever is going on with Drummond, it looks for real and he's back to being a fantasy superstar for those who don't care about free throw percentage.
