Keith Smart says he has decided whether DeMarcus Cousins will return to the lineup Friday, but won't tell the media and hasn't told Cousins anything.

Smart said Cousins practiced fully Thursday, but according to the beat writers, Cousins appeared bitter and angry when addressing the media. Regardless of when he returns to the floor, it's hard to see this situation ending well. Owners will just have to wait out Smart and hope Cousins returns sooner rather than later.

Greivis Vasquez will start against the Knicks on Saturday.

Feb 28 - 6:29 PM

Kyle Lowry will not play against the Knicks on Saturday.

He had a minor injury on Friday night and was able to return. Coach Dwane Casey said Lowry has looked banged up and he hinted he could rest him again. Lowry's February numbers look horrible, averaging 11.9 points, 5.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 treys on 34.2 percent from the field. The rest has to help him. While he's out, Greivis Vasquez should see a big increase in playing time. Plus, there should be more minutes for Lou Williams and James Johnson.
Feb 28 - 6:26 PM

Dennis Schroder, Kent Bazemore and Elton Brand will start against the Heat on Saturday.

Schroder is likely going to share some of his minutes with Shelvin Mack, but he's still a very nice play considering his per-minute output. Mack is also worth a look if you need points and treys.
Feb 28 - 6:18 PM

Jeff Teague, DeMarre Carroll, Al Horford and Pero Antic will not play against the Heat on Saturday.

It's the second time the Hawks have rested their starters this season and they should be ready for next week. Get all of these guys out of your lineup. Dennis Schroder, Kent Bazemore, Kyle Korver, Paul Millsap and Elton Brand will start.
Feb 28 - 6:10 PM

Kyrie Irving (shoulder) will not play against the Rockets on Sunday.

It'll be his second game out of the lineup for the Cavs and he should be considered questionable for Tuesday against the Celtics. Matthew Dellavedova put up a fluky 14-point, 10-board game on Friday, but that was also without LeBron James. Outside of maybe giving J.R. Smith, Kevin Love and LeBron a little bump in usage rate, there's not much impact from Kyrie missing time. Iman Shumpert may play more for owners in deeper leagues.
Feb 28 - 5:42 PM

Kris Humphries (groin) will miss Saturday's game against the Pistons.

This will be his second consecutive game out of the lineup. With Humphries out, the Wizards will look to Drew Gooden and Kevin Seraphin to step up behind Nene and Marcin Gortat. Most owners in fantasy leagues can monitor this situation from the sidelines.
Feb 28 - 5:22 PM

Bradley Beal (leg) and Paul Pierce (knee) will play against the Pistons on Saturday.

The Wizards really need to win this game coming off a six-game losing streak. They said they wanted to have Beal practice more, but this might be a "desperate times call for desperate measures" case. Beal should be owned in all leagues, but he's not a complete must-start player because he is on a minutes restriction.
Feb 28 - 5:18 PM

Russell Westbrook (face) won't miss much time due to his facial surgery on Saturday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

"If he had a playoff game [on Sunday], he could play," the report added. As mentioned 30 minutes ago, Westbrook is going to be re-evaluated later this week due to surgery on the zygomatic arch on his right cheek, so he sounds like he could actually play on Wednesday against the 76ers. Still, fantasy owners will want to grab D.J. Augustin in standard leagues.
Feb 28 - 5:06 PM

DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) did not practice on Saturday and he is up in the air for Sunday against the Blazers.

He tried to play through his ankle sprain from Wednesday and it's apparently costing him playing time. The Kings will likely update Cousins again tomorrow morning, but he should be considered questionable for now. With Cousins out on Friday, Jason Thompson double-doubled and Ben McLemore also stepped up with 21 points. Both should have a similar chance to perform sans DMC.
Feb 28 - 5:01 PM

Festus Ezeli will be suspended for Sunday's game against the Celtics.

He got into it with Tyler Hansbrough on Friday and this isn't a surprise. Ezeli doesn't really play more than 15 minutes even when the Warriors are missing guys, so he's not worth owning in almost any league. Andrew Bogut is also less likely to be rested on Sunday with Ezeli out.
Feb 28 - 4:54 PM

Jose Calderon (Achilles) will not play on Saturday against the Raptors.

An MRI revealed he has a strain in his Achilles and it's fair to assume he's going to miss multiple games. Calderon said he doesn't want to shut it down, but he's usually taken a long time to recover from injuries. With Calderon out, Shane Larkin is going to benefit most, but he's still not worth grabbing in standard leagues. Langston Galloway will also have more opportunity.
