The NBA suspended Dwyane Wade one game for kicking Ramon Sessions in the groin on Wednesday.

The incident looked deliberate and one game seems about right for Wade. He will miss Friday's game against the Pistons and will be ready to go for Saturday against the Bucks. Shane Battier produced while Wade was out earlier this season, so he makes sense as a nice spot-start option. Mario Chalmers is coming off two big games and is also more alluring as a play on Friday.

Goran Dragic (back) is still being listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Suns.

Dragic really wants to play, but he's clearly hurting. He did not participate in shootaround, an indication that The Dragon could be headed for a dreaded game-time call. If he's unable to suit up, Mario Chalmers would start and see all of the minutes he can handle with Shabazz Napier as his backup.
Mar 2 - 11:33 AM

Brandon Knight (hip) is expected to start against the Heat on Monday.

Knight left Saturday's game with a left hip pointer, but it doesn't sound serious if he's already ready to be back in the starting lineup. Gerald Green will head back to the end of the bench.
Mar 2 - 11:01 AM

Taj Gibson (ankle) is expected to be sidelined for at least another week.

Not good. Gibson's ankle sprain is clearly serious, and Gibson has a history of playing through ankle injuries, so we know it must be bothering the big man. The Bulls play four times this week, so if Gibson misses all of those contests, Nikola Mirotic will continue to see big minutes off the bench with Chicago leaning a little harder on both Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah.
Mar 2 - 9:31 AM

Derrick Rose (knee) said that he would return this season.

Rose has already started his rehab and all reports have been tremendously positive since his outpatient surgery. While we're likely to get daily Rose updates for however long he's sidelined, it's important to remember that the earliest he'll return is at the back end of March. That doesn't leave a lot of time for him to contribute to fantasy owners looking to win their postseason matchups.
Mar 2 - 9:27 AM

Bradley Beal (leg) reported no pain following his first game back in Saturday's win over the Pistons.

"I felt good, no pain" he said. "Just a little winded at the beginning." Beal shot just 2-of-10 from the field, but the fact the he had no issues after jumping right back in with 32 minutes of action is a great sign going forward. Get him back in your lineup if he's not already.
Mar 2 - 9:11 AM

The 76ers have agreed to waive JaVale McGee in time for him to sign with a playoff contender, according to USA Today's Sam Amick.

Philadelphia will reportedly pay McGee the full amount he's owed, including a $12 million payout next season, and he's likely to sign a minimum deal to give a playoff-bound team more frontcourt depth. He's not a fantasy asset no matter where he lands after clearing waivers.

Kenneth Faried started at center in the Nuggets' small lineup on Sunday, but he made only 1-of-6 shots to finish with three points, six boards, three assists, one steal and one block.

Faried logged 27 minutes and may have played more if it weren't for foul trouble. The starting job and increased playing time are both silver linings for exasperated fantasy owners, and for now it seems likely that he'll stick at center for Tuesday's game vs. Milwaukee.
Mar 1 - 11:05 PM

Randy Foye made his first start of the season on Sunday, finishing with 19 points, five 3-pointers and two steals as the Nuggets lost their sixth consecutive game.

Foye is shooting 30.5 percent from the field this season and his lack of supporting stats makes him primarily a 3-point specialist. To wit, he finished tonight's game without any rebounds, assists or blocks in 30 minutes. He's worth a speculative add in most leagues, however, in the hopes that he can hold down a big offensive role as a starter ahead of Gary Harris.
Mar 1 - 11:01 PM

Will Barton came off Denver's bench for 16 points and a season-high 10 rebounds in Sunday's home loss, adding two steals without any turnovers in 27 minutes.

The Nuggets are going nowhere this season but at least Barton is proving to be a solid acquisition, averaging 18.8 points, 1.3 triples, 6.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in his last four games. How long he can keep it up is anyone's guess, but he's earning his minutes and makes for a nice speculative addition in standard leagues.
Mar 1 - 10:51 PM

Jeremy Lin continued his impressive play in a loss to the Thunder on Sunday, scoring 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting with eight assists, six boards, three steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.

Distant memories of Linsanity are slowly starting to surface, as Lin has been a new man since the All-Star break, averaging 17.0 points, 5.0 assists, 2.8 boards, 1.2 steals and 0.8 3-pointers in 27.8 minutes per game. While it is highly unlikely that he takes over as the starting PG with rookie Jordan Clarkson playing well, Lin has been playing a lot of minutes at shooting guard which is huge for his value moving forward. Don't look now, but Lin is worth a flier in most leagues to see if he can keep up his torrid pace.
Mar 1 - 10:19 PM

Andrew Bogut scored only two points on 1-of-6 shooting during Sunday's massive comeback, but he added 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks in just 19 minutes.

He was scheduled to miss tonight's game as a precaution but Festus Ezeli's suspension forced him into the starting lineup. The Warriors are back in action vs. the Nets on Monday and owners should be on red-alert for a rest day from Bogut.
