Wilson Chandler (hip) participated in shootaround Friday and is aiming to return to the lineup Jan. 13.

It's only been three days since George Karl said he didn't expect Chandler to play "in the near future," but it appears Chandler is ahead of schedule. Chandler said Friday he attributes working with doctors in Vail, CO., with helping him progress from offseason hip surgery that has kept him out of all but four games this season. All that said, Chandler's fantasy value is minimal at best, except to further crowd an already busy Nuggets rotation.

Michael Beasley suffered a stinger in his elbow during Sunday's game vs. the Pistons, and he was unable to return after just seven minutes of action.

Beasley's elbow flared up and he didn't have any mobility in his arm after the game, but the Heat didn't seem to be overly concerned and head coach Erik Spoelstra is hopeful that he will play vs. the Spurs on Tuesday. Beasley isn't a great option in fantasy leagues and hasn't been getting a lot of minutes even with the Heat dealing with a lot of injuries, so owners in most leagues should probably leave him on the wire.

The Pistons fell in Miami on Sunday, 102-109, despite having Reggie Jackson score 31 points on 12-of-17 shooting with three 3-pointers, six rebounds and nine assists.

Jackson and Andre Drummond (32 points) were unstoppable but they were abandoned by their teammates, who combined for just 39 points on 14-of-49 shooting (28.6 percent). R-Jax was coming off a triple-double and his sluggish start after joining the Pistons is a fading memory as he carries owners deeper into the fantasy playoffs.
Mar 29 - 8:53 PM

Dwyane Wade took over Sunday's game while playing through a knee injury, dropping a game-high 40 points on 14-of-27 FGs and 12-of-13 FTs in 36 minutes of action.

His knee was drained on Saturday but he still suited up for the short-handed Heat, who began Sunday with a one-game cushion for the No. 7 seed. To his fantasy owners' delight, Wade added six boards, four assists and one steal with only one turnover. We're leaving him off the injury report in advance of Tuesday's game, but owners should double-check his status as a precaution.
Mar 29 - 8:51 PM

Udonis Haslem was huge for the Heat on Sunday, racking up 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting, 13 rebounds (seven offensive), two assists and one steal in a crucial win vs. the Pistons.

The Heat hold the No. 7 seed in the East but they have no room for error, as they're just 2.5 games ahead of the 10th place Hornets. Hassan Whiteside (hand) and Chris Andersen (calf) are both iffy to return on Tuesday so Haslem, who logged 35 minutes tonight, may be forced into heavy playing time yet again.
Mar 29 - 8:49 PM

Andre Drummond took advantage of Miami's injury woes to finish Sunday's road loss with a career-high 32 points (14-of-17 FGs, 4-of-7 FTs), 14 rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks and zero turnovers.

Hassan Whiteside (hand) and Chris Andersen (calf) were both out for Miami, giving Drummond a delectable matchup vs. Udonis Haslem at center. He took full advantage of the matchup, becoming the 10th player since 2010 to score 32+ points while shooting at least 82.0 percent from the field -- Ersan Ilyasova achieved the same feat during his 34-point outburst on Thursday. Greg Monroe (knee) doesn't have a clear return date so Drummond will continue to gorge himself in the Pistons' frontcourt.
Mar 29 - 8:48 PM

Brandon Knight (ankle) will play vs. the Thunder on Sunday, but he will come off the bench.

After an eight-game absence, Knight is finally back. His minutes will probably be held in check and he will might be a little rusty, but his owners will be pumped to have him back in their lineups. Marcus Morris will remain in the starting lineup for now, but his value could take a hit down the stretch. We will let you know how Knight holds up after the game.
Mar 29 - 8:16 PM

Jared Dudley will not play vs. the Hawks on Monday in order to give his ailing back some extra rest.

Dudley has been able to play in the past two games for the Bucks, but they are wanting to be cautious with him since he had missed six consecutive games earlier in March. Dudley should be fine for Wednesday's game vs. the Bulls, but he is still not a fantasy option outside of deeper leagues. Expect O.J. Mayo and Jerryd Bayless to see a few extra minutes off the bench Monday.
Mar 29 - 7:52 PM

Michael Beasley is questionable to return on Sunday due to a bruised elbow.

The Heat are coming apart at the seams, beginning the night extremely short-handed before losing both Beasley and Luol Deng (knee) on Sunday. If Beasley misses any time, James Ennis and Henry Walker will be thrust into bigger roles out of necessity.
Mar 29 - 7:35 PM

Luol Deng suffered a left knee contusion vs. the Pistons on Sunday and will not return.

The Heat have had terrible luck with injuries this season, and knowing how cautious they tend to be with their players, it's possible that Deng's status could be in jeopardy for Tuesday's game vs. the Spurs. For what it's worth , head coach Erik Spoelstra was optimistic that Deng would be able to play on Tuesday, but we should be able to provide more details when he is evaluated on Monday. If Deng is forced to miss any time, James Ennis, Michael Beasley (elbow) and Henry Walker would all have to step up on the wing. Deng finished with four points, two boards, one assist and one steal in 18 minutes.
Mar 29 - 7:31 PM

76ers big man Furkan Aldemir started Sunday's game and finished with a career-high 11 points, 10 rebounds, one steal and zero turnovers in 27 minutes.

Aldemir is a tenacious rebounder whose overall rebound rate of 18.1 percent ranks second on the Sixers, behind only Thomas Robinson (23.1 percent). Unfortunately, Aldemir doesn't score (his previous career-high was four points) or contribute enough defensive stats to be a viable option in standard leagues. Just keep an eye on him for now.
Mar 29 - 7:14 PM

Vince Carter will start in place of Tony Allen (hamstring) on Sunday vs. the Spurs.

It will be Carter's first start this season, but it doesn't necessarily mean he will play big minutes. Carter can be left on the wire in most leagues, while Jeff Green will likely be the primary beneficiary off the bench tonight should be pretty busy on the offensive end.
