George Karl says the Nuggets don't regret signing JaVale McGee to a long-term extension in the offseason.

McGee is averaging just 19 minutes per game, despite signing a deal worth over $40 million this past summer. Karl said McGee needs to earn more minutes, which we can understand but must be incredibly frustrating for his owners. McGee is barely clinging to 12-14 team value, but he has upside in 8- and 9-cat leagues.

Julyan Stone will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain.

He's had some terrible luck with injuries so far after missing most of the preseason with a groin injury. With Michael Carter-Williams (knee) still without a timetable, this probably explains why the Hornets were linked to Jameer Nelson. Until the Hornets find some help, Malik Monk may get some run behind Kemba Walker.

According to Arizona Sports Radio Host John Gambadoro, Eric Bledsoe met with the Suns about wanting to be traded before the season started.

Bledsoe tweeted on Sunday afternoon, "I don't wanna be here," and it sure seems like his days on the Suns are numbered. He hasn't been linked to any other team since the trade talks with Cleveland fizzled over the Summer, but he is an odd fit on a team that's likely going to finish at the bottom of the standings out West. With Bledsoe's name in the rumor mill, fantasy owners should be watching the position battle between Mike James and Tyler Ulis closely.

Anthony Davis stuffed the boxscore on Sunday with 27 points, 17 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks.

Davis hit one 3-pointer while finishing 9-of-18 from the field and 8-of-10 from the FT line, and he was seemingly everywhere on the court at times. He did take a hard elbow to the neck/jaw while drawing a charge on Larry Nance, leading to some tense moments, but he never left the game. So far, so good for owners who bet on AD's upside.
Oct 23 - 12:11 AM

Steven Adams made 8-of-12 shots to finish Sunday's home loss with 17 points, 13 rebounds (eight offensive), three assists, two blocks and one steal in 35 minutes.

Adams had a quiet finish to the 2016-17 season, averaging 9.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.7 blocks after the All-Star break, with a 46.8 percent mark at the FT line. He's off to a very nice start this year, however, and his minutes should stay north of 30 per game with Enes Kanter out of the picture. He projects as a solid second-tier center, and OKC really needs his screen-setting, rebounding and rim protection.
Oct 22 - 10:10 PM

Karl-Anthony Towns made 11-of-17 shots with a pair of 3-pointers to finish Sunday's road victory with 27 points, 12 rebounds, one assist and one block.

How rare of a talent is KAT? With the score tied and 10 seconds left, he pump-faked from the 3-point line, drove toward the lane, and sank a contested floater from 12 feet. He also set a solid screen to give Andrew Wiggins enough room for his dramatic game-winner, and the Wolves walked out of Chesapeake Energy Arena with a 2-1 record.
Oct 22 - 10:03 PM

Andrew Wiggins banked in a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to defeat the Thunder in OKC on Sunday, finishing with 27 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and one turnover in 39 minutes.

If you missed this game, be sure to at least catch the highlights. Carmelo Anthony had just given OKC the lead in dramatic fashion, and the Wolves had no timeouts, but Wiggins stunned the crowd with his make from well beyond the arc. He's averaging 2.7 triples through three games, which is a welcome addition to his fantasy repertoire. Hopefully more defensive stats will follow.

Dennis Schroder (left foot/ankle) will have an MRI on Monday and he's doubtful to play vs. the Heat in Miami.

Schroder "likely" has a bone bruise in his foot, according to Adam Zagoria, but he's optimistic that he'll be ready for Thursday's game vs. the Bulls. Malcolm Delaney would likely start on Monday if Schroder is out, but he's just a streaming and DFS play until the MRI results are disclosed.
Oct 22 - 7:17 PM

Allen Crabbe played well off the bench on Sunday, racking up 20 points, four 3-pointers, five boards, one steal, one block and one turnover in 26 minutes of floor time.

Crabbe knows that when he’s working with the second unit, his role is to come in and aggressively search for buckets, and that’s exactly what he did today, immediately spurring a 9-0 run when he entered the game. Crabbe has also been very nice on the defensive end this year, contributing 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per contest, and he looks all set up for a career-year as one of the main pieces to the rebuild in Brooklyn. Make sure he's not floating around on your waiver wire.
Oct 22 - 7:12 PM

D'Angelo Russell notched his fourth-career double-double during Sunday's win over the Hawks, tallying 16 points, 10 assists, seven boards, one steal, one triple and four turnovers in 29 minutes.

Russell did an excellent job of getting his teammates involved early, working within the flow of the game, and locking up Dennis Schroder on the defensive end. He also hit a dagger 3-pointer with under two minutes to go to put Brooklyn up by 10, and D-Lo becoming a killer in the clutch has been a fun thing to watch this season. He’s hit the ground running, and has an excellent chance of finishing the year with top-40 value in 9-cat leagues.
Oct 22 - 7:08 PM

John Collins posted a 14-point, 13-rebound double-double during Sunday's loss to the Nets, adding one block and two turnovers in just 21 minutes off the bench.

Collins has been playing with great energy to open the 2017-18 season, and he did a phenomenal job attacking the boards in this one with his 28.9 rebounding rate. Simply put, Collins is too good to keep off the floor, and there's a good chance he'll find himself starting for the Hawks at some point this season. He's a highly attractive stash in most leagues.

Milos Teodosic has been diagnosed with a plantar fascia injury in left foot and will be out indefinitely, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Plantar fascia injuries can be tricky to heal, and they tend to only get better with prolonged rest, so Teodosic figures to miss a good chunk of time here making him a drop-candidate in leagues that don't offer an IR-spot. Patrick Beverley, Austin Rivers and Lou Williams will see a spike in minutes with Teodosic on the sidelines, but there's not really an obvious pick up here in 12-team leagues.
