Amare Stoudemire (knee) will come off the bench in his season debut Tuesday.

Following left knee surgery, Stoudemire missed the first 30 games of the season. The Knicks proceeded to go 21-9 without him. He'll be on a minutes restriction tonight as he gets eased back in and it wouldn't be a shock if he sticks to a bench role for the foreseeable future. It would be a surprise if Stoudemire sees anything more than 25 minutes against the Blazers Tuesday.

Justin Holiday will start against the Wolves on Friday night.

Holiday started the third quarter on Wednesday, so this move is expected. Holiday only played 10.3 minutes in the second half, so he may not getting a big bump. Expect to see more of Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Brandon Jennings tonight.
Dec 2 - 7:21 PM

Nicolas Laprovittola is starting in place of Tony Parker on Friday vs. the Wizards.

He started on Wednesday as well, but only played 19 minutes with seven points, one rebound and one turnover. You'd have to be in a really deep league to consider streaming him. Look for Patty Mills to benefit the most Friday.
Dec 2 - 7:06 PM

Thabo Sefolosha will start for Paul Millsap (hip) against the Pistons on Friday.

It makes a lot of sense with the Pistons not having a big power forward in their starting lineup, and a bigger power forward in the second unit. Mike Muscala should still get a nice bump in playing time and is on the radar to use tonight. Plus, this news also helps Tim Hardaway Jr. with more minutes at the three.
Dec 2 - 7:05 PM

Tony Parker (knee) will not play against the Wizards on Friday.

He's actually on the injury report for a knee injury, so this isn't just rest. Patty Mills has played out of his mind as the NBA's leader in true shooting percentage, so he will slightly benefit here. Nicolas Laprovittola should pick up minutes close to 20 tonight as well.
Dec 2 - 6:58 PM

The Magic will stick with the starting lineup of D.J. Augustin, Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon, Serge Ibaka and Bismack Biyombo against the 76ers.

The starting nod hasn't really helped Gordon while it has helped Fournier get more shots and be a facilitator. It's a great matchup for both wings, so maybe Gordon can get going. Nikola Vucevic should be fine off the bench, especially against Jahlil Okafor.
Dec 2 - 6:46 PM

Chandler Parsons (left knee bone bruise) will be listed as out for all games this coming week and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

The headaches for Parsons owners continue. Even this news is frustrating in the sense that it means he'll miss at least 10 more days, yet it's not dire enough to cut him outright. The Grizz announced that Parsons is "progressing as expected." If you have held onto Parsons this long due to his potential upside, it probably makes sense to stay patient in the hopes he comes out of this latest setback closer to 100%.

Dec 2 - 6:42 PM

J.J. Redick (rest) will not play vs. the Pelicans on Friday night.

It's scheduled rest on the back end of a back-to-back set. Redick has been on fire with a 23-point game on Thursday, but he is still 32 years old. For tonight, Wes Johnson should get in the rotation while Austin Rivers, Raymond Felton and Jamal Crawford all get boosts in playing time.
Dec 2 - 6:39 PM

Paul Millsap (hip) will not play against the Pistons on Friday and is also out for Saturday against the Raptors.

These DNPs will be his second and third games out of the lineup. Despite going scoreless on Wednesday, Mike Muscala should get another start while Mike Scott could also see a few extra minutes than his four on Wednesday. Millsap's injury doesn't sound serious and it may be more about pain tolerance, so he could make it back for Monday against the Thunder.
Dec 2 - 6:32 PM

Dwyane Wade will play against the Cavs on Friday and will rest against the Mavs on Saturday.

Wade is not even going to travel for the road game in Dallas. The Bulls are now starting to take care of Wade's legs more than usual with this being his second straight rest on a back-to-back set. He'll get plenty of minutes tonight at home against his buddy LeBron James. For Saturday, Jimmy Butler, Nikola Mirotic and Isaiah Canaan would benefit.
Dec 2 - 6:25 PM

Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles), already ruled out of Saturday's game against the Bulls, is likely to miss at least one additional game.

The Mavs following game is Monday vs. Charlotte. They then play the Kings on Wednesday, which seems to be the earliest we would see Dirk back on the floor. However, even that is questionable due to the lingering soreness in his right Achilles' tendon. "Dirk's situation is improving, but he is really out indefinitely," Carlisle said during his weekly appearance on 103.3 FM ESPN. Dirk has played in just two of the Mavs last 13 games. With the 3-15 Mavs headed towards a top lottery pick, they have absolutely no reason to rush Dirk back into the lineup.

Dec 2 - 6:23 PM

Brandon Ingram will start at shooting guard against the Raptors on Friday.

It's the same starting lineup as Wednesday with Jose Calderon, Luol Deng, Julius Randle and Timofey Mozgov. Ingram played a whopping 41 minutes in that start with a 13.0 usage rate, so maybe he gets more shots tonight. Ingram is worth a long look in DFS and is a pickup in competitive leagues with a ton of playing time headed his way while Nick Young (calf) misses 2-4 weeks.
