Glen Davis (shoulder) did not practice Friday, as expected.

Davis got some shots up after Thursday's practice, but that doesn't mean he's necessarily close to getting cleared for contact. He's only 2.5 weeks into a 4-6 week timetable. The Orlando Sentinel says a "good guess" is that Davis will be back on the court "inside two weeks."

Tyreke Evans suffered a left knee bruise on Saturday and will not return.

Evans' main issue with respect to injuries has been his left ankle, but he did have a knee injury back in December and he's had some other knee problems in the past. The Pelicans still went with Norris Cole to start the second half, so coach Monty Williams clearly wants to keep Jrue Holiday in the second unit. Cole is really going to have to play well against Stephen Curry. Evans finished with one point and one rebound.

Paul Pierce was fantastic against the Raptors during a 93-86 overtime win on Saturday, scoring a game-high 20 points with four rebounds, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers on 7-of-10 from the field in 37 minutes.

After the game, Pierce said he felt good and that he needed the rest heading into the postseason. Pierce didn't play 37 minutes in any game during the 2015 part of the schedule, so clearly the Wizards had planned on increasing his minutes going into this postseason run. He also moved past James Worthy for 22nd on the all-time postseason scoring list.
Apr 18 - 4:33 PM

Nene scored 12 points with 13 boards, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes against the Raptors on Saturday.

He was on the injury report for foot, shoulder and ankle issues, but you wouldn't know it based on his seven offensive boards and effective rim protection. Nene didn't play in five of the final seven games in the regular season to help him get ready for the postseason. He did mention earlier this week that his plantar fascia isn't healthy, so he'll be an injury risk going forward.
Apr 18 - 4:16 PM

C.J. McCollum (ankle) and Nicolas Batum (knee) are probable to play against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

They're both already practicing in full and have said they're definitely playing. With Arron Afflalo (shoulder) not expected to play, these two will be the primary wing options for the Blazers. The bad news is that Tony Allen (hamstring) will be ready to roll, so it won't be easy for the Blazers to score from the perimeter.
Apr 18 - 3:29 PM

Alonzo Gee (foot) is questionable to play against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

With Arron Afflalo (shoulder) doubtful, Gee would likely have been looking at some minutes in the playoff game. If he's out, there should be more time available for C.J. McCollum, Nicolas Batum and Allen Crabbe.
Apr 18 - 3:26 PM

Arron Afflalo (shoulder) is listed as doubtful to play against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

The good news is that he's getting closer and is even getting his shots up on Friday, but Afflalo might need two weeks to heal from his shoulder strain suffered on Apr. 9. C.J. McCollum will benefit most even if the Blazers opt to go with Allen Crabbe as the starter, which could definitely happen.
Apr 18 - 3:24 PM

Brandon Knight underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle on Friday and he is expected to make a full recovery.

We don't have many details on the surgery, but it's likely a minor procedure and he will probably be on the shelf for about 3-4 weeks. Knight missed the final 11 games of the season because of his ankle, so it will be interesting to see if this has an impact on his market during restricted free agency. Knight is "optimistic" about returning to Phoenix, and it seems unlikely that they would let him walk after giving up so many assets to acquire him this season. We will provide further details as soon as we know more.
Apr 18 - 1:15 PM

Mike Conley (foot) continues to make progress, and he believes he will hear his name announced in the starting lineup on Sunday vs. the Blazers.

Conley returned to practice on Friday, and it's clear that the time on the shelf sped up his recovery. He added that his foot is still sore every morning, but he does feel better when he moves around. It sounds like he will be a game-time decision, but we should have an official update after the team's shootaround on Sunday. Beno Udrih will move back to the bench if Conley plays.
Apr 18 - 1:10 PM

Mike Scott (back) made it through practice on Saturday and is expected to be available for Sunday's game vs. the Nets.

Scott has been a key contributor off the bench for the Hawks, and his presence is even more important considering Paul Millsap isn't 100 percent. We will have another update after shootaround Sunday, but things are definitely looking up for Atlanta.
Apr 18 - 1:00 PM

Tony Allen (hamstring) plans to play on Sunday vs. the Blazers despite not being 100 percent.

"I feel alright," Allen said. "I'm getting better day by day. I'm far from where I want to be, but I can tolerate the little pain I'm having." Allen is a warrior and it will take a lot for him to miss Sunday's game, so we expect to see him out there. We will consider him a game-time decision for now, but we should know more after shootaround. If Allen continues to sit out, Courtney Lee, Vince Carter and Jeff Green will have to step up.
Apr 18 - 12:58 PM

Updating a previous report, Chandler Parsons (knee) said that he will definitely be in the starting lineup vs. the Rockets on Saturday.

Parsons said he had no setbacks after practicing in full on Friday, and the Mavericks will be thrilled to see him back after he missed the last six games of the season. His minutes might be held in check, but he is expected to spend some time defending James Harden. Richard Jefferson moves to the bench following this news while Al-Farouq Aminu should see a decreased role.
