Russell Westbrook scored 27 points on 10-of-17 shooting (4-of-4 3PTs, 3-of-4 FTs) with three rebounds, five assists, and one steal in the Thunder's 109-85 win over the Sixers on Friday.

Westbrook had six turnovers but his shot selection was great tonight, and don't look now but he has two straight 50+ percent shooting games under his belt for the first time this season. He has hit 8-of-13 triples over his last four games and has shot 52.7 percent from the field over that span, compared to 33.1 percent from deep and 39.9 percent from the field in his first 28 contests.

Draymond Green flirted with a five-by-five line against the Wolves on Saturday with four points, eight rebounds, six assists, three blocks and a career-high six steals in 32 minutes.

He just seems to find a way to fill it up and he remains as the Western Conference version of Jimmy Butler -- to a slightly lesser degree. In case you needed convincing, David Lee's return is not hurting Green's fantasy value and that shouldn't be the case all season.
Dec 28 - 1:57 AM

Zach LaVine handed out a career-high 14 assists against the Warriors during a 110-97 loss on Saturday, adding 12 points, four rebounds, one steal and five turnovers.

It was just his second double-double of his career. LaVine is not shooting the ball well, making just 37 percent from the field over his last 11 games. With Ricky Rubio (ankle) set to return in a couple weeks, LaVine is even less of an attractive fantasy option.
Dec 28 - 1:54 AM

DeMarcus Cousins scored a season-high 39 points in 32 minutes against the Knicks on Saturday with 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and five turnovers during a 135-129 overtime victory.

He made 14-of-27 from the field and 10-of-11 from the line for a ridiculous usage rate of 50.5 tonight. Cousins raised his season usage to 34.0 and only trails Russell Westbrook, Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade in that category. Advanced stats don't need to tell you that Boogie is the best starting center in fantasy and hopefully he is done with illnesses.
Dec 28 - 1:39 AM

Darren Collison made 9-of-10 from the field with three 3-pointers for 27 points against the Knicks on Saturday with one rebound, 10 assists and two steals in 43 minutes.

The Knicks are not good and that shooting line is good for a 105.0 effective field goal percentage. Collision has shot the ball well over his last five, making 56.7 percent from the field for averages of 19.4 points, 5.0 assists, 2.4 steals and 2.6 triples in 38.2 minutes per game. There's a good chance this might be the apex of his fantasy value.
Dec 28 - 1:35 AM

Carmelo Anthony made 13-of-29 from the field for 36 points against the Kings during an overtime 135-129 loss with 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 46 minutes.

Yeah, about that knee soreness. Anthony has played a whopping 41.8 minutes per game in his last four since returning from knee soreness, averaging 30.8 points, 7.5 boards, 3.5 dimes and 1.3 steals. He is a prime shut down candidate, so his hot streak right now presents a great sell-high chance for his owners.
Dec 28 - 1:22 AM

Cole Aldrich had his best game of the season on Saturday with 18 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in just 24 minutes.

He fouled out and certainly was handled by DeMarcus Cousins, but Aldrich's arrow is pointing up. He was tremendous in his brief time in summer league and is arguably the best healthy two-way big man on NYK, so he might have some short-term value while Amare Stoudemire is out. He might have value beyond STAT's return, too.
Dec 28 - 1:10 AM

It was Khris Middleton's turn for a big game on Saturday in a loss to the Hawks, scoring 21 points with five rebounds, one assist, one steal and five 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

It's almost like coach Jason Kidd is flipping a coin on who he's giving his minutes to. Middleton scored just two points on Friday and wasn't over 24 minutes in any of his previous four games, so it's hard to be bullish on him. He's not a waiver-wire target in standard leagues.
Dec 28 - 12:45 AM

Jeff Teague scored 25 points in a 90-85 win over the Bucks on Saturday with eight rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

Needless to say, he's back. Teague missed three games earlier this month and played in just 24 minutes in each of his last two games. He was playing well before the injury and he should keep the ball rolling against the Cavs on Tuesday.
Dec 28 - 12:34 AM

Derrick Favors posted a massive line on Saturday, finishing with 17 points, 15 boards, three assists, three steals and five blocks in 34 minutes.

He also shot 7-of-11 from the field, and was clearly the most dominant player on the court Saturday. The fact that he did this against the 76ers should be factored in, but this was a great performance nonetheless. As long as Favors stays healthy, more lines similar to this will be on the horizon.
Dec 28 - 12:33 AM

Michael Carter-Williams shot just 2-of-20 from the field in a loss to the Jazz on Saturday, finishing with eight points, four boards, six assists and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

He was terrible Saturday, and to add to his misery he even turned the ball over six times. MCW is one of the most inefficient players in the league, and his shooting percentages and turnovers make him really tough to own in standard leagues. That being said, his numbers will continue to be inflated as long as he continues to see big minutes for the 76ers, and he will continue to be a triple-double threat every time he takes the floor. Owners must take the good with the bad.
Dec 28 - 12:13 AM

Nerlens Noel (ankle) is going to get X-rays after Saturday's game against the Jazz.

He briefly left the game after landing awkwardly on his ankle, but he returned moments later and finished with five points, 10 boards, two assists and one steal in 32 minutes. The 76ers are known to be extremely cautious with injuries so it is possible that Noel could see some time on the sidelines. We will pass along updates as soon as we know more, and we would expect Henry Sims, Robert Covington, and Furkan Aldemir to fill the void should Noel miss any time. Stay tuned.
