Kenneth Faried missed shootaround Saturday due to an illness and will be a game-time decision against the Jazz.

Faried has been a nightly double-double this season, but it appears owners may have to look elsewhere Saturday night. Check back closer to tip-off for an update on whether he can shake the illness in time to play against Utah.

Marcus Morris had a game-winning tip at the buzzer against the Wizards on Saturday, scoring 25 points with 11 rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Marcus tipped it in over Markieff off a Tobias Harris miss to pull off the thrilling win (video in link below). As you might expect, his twin brother, Markieff, had a laugh with him after the game despite the Pistons snapping the Wizards' winning streak. Marcus is actually in one of his best grooves on the year, averaging 18.8 points, 8.0 boards, 3.0 assists and 2.0 treys over his last five. Even with those numbers, Morris is still only a seventh-round player in that span. That's pretty close to his peak value.

C.J. McCollum scored 35 points against the Celtics during a 127-123 win on Saturday, adding two rebounds, three assists, three steals and three 3-pointers.

What a win for the Blazers. They were coming off a back-to-back after a loss in Philly while the Celtics had two days off. McCollum was on fire in the first half with 26 points to make it five times he's scored 25-plus in a half this season, which ties Russell Westbrook for the most in the NBA. The Most Improved Player has improved again. Even with the stacked guards in the West, he is playing like an All-Star.
Jan 21 - 8:59 PM

Raymond Felton will come off the bench against the Nuggets on Saturday.

He won't be getting a revenge game as a starter. It makes some sense because the Clippers have to figure out what to do with their bench and they need another big out there against Kenneth Faried -- Luc Mbah a Moute should guard Danilo Gallinari. Felton's owners shouldn't panic here.
Jan 21 - 8:31 PM

Marreese Speights will start against the Nuggets on Saturday.

Mo Buckets has been lighting it up with treys in 17 straight, so he'll be taking those into altitude. Speights in a starting role is very intriguing, but it's hard to pick him up long term with Blake Griffin getting closer. If you want to use him for this week, give him a look.
Jan 21 - 8:31 PM

Emmanuel Mudiay, Will Barton, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried and Nikola Jokic will start against the Clippers on Saturday.

He is fine and should feast in this game as long as he doesn't get into foul trouble. Trust the Jokic.
Jan 21 - 8:26 PM

Wilson Chandler (personal), Danilo Gallinari (ankle) and Emmanuel Mudiay (back) are all available to play on Saturday against the Clippers.

Chandler only needed one game away from the team for personal reasons. This game figures to be somewhat fast and Danilo Gallinari is a go, so Chandler should slot into the four most of this game. Juan Hernangomez takes a big hit here.
Jan 21 - 8:20 PM

Meyers Leonard made 6-of-7 from the field for a season-high 17 points against the Celtics on Saturday, adding four rebounds, one steal and four 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

He had two of the best dunks for the Blazers on the year with two massive one-handed jams (video in link below). Leonard was a DNP-CD in the last game because Ed Davis (ankle) was used against Joel Embiid. It's all about the matchup for Leonard, so obviously he can't be trusted in most season-long leagues.
Jan 21 - 8:18 PM

Isaiah Thomas scored 41 points against the Blazers during a 127-123 overtime loss on Saturday, adding three rebounds, six assists, six turnovers and four 3-pointers.

He passed James Harden yesterday for the No. 2 scorer in the NBA behind Russell Westbrook and he looks like he's on a mission to catch Russell Westbrook. Interestingly, the Celtics have never had a leading scorer in the NBA during their history with Larry Bird coming the closest and turning in a second-place finish. In his last 10, Thomas averaged 35.1 points per game. How is he not starting in the All-Star Game again?
Jan 21 - 8:11 PM

Courtney Lee will start and Ron Baker will come off the bench against the Suns on Saturday.

After Lee's 'Dumb and Dumber' saga, he's back in the starting lineup. He should play with an extra edge and has a great matchup, so he could hit the ground running. We still wouldn't use Lee in most cases.
Jan 21 - 7:07 PM

Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) will start and Mindaugas Kuzminskas will come off the bench against the Suns on Saturday.

The Knicks are playing their old lineup here and will shift Carmelo Anthony back to the three. We'll see how the Knicks stagger KP, which was a good plan earlier this season. Porzingis should be all set in a fantastic matchup today.
Jan 21 - 7:06 PM

Joakim Noah (ankle) will start and Kyle O'Quinn will come off the bench against the Suns on Saturday.

Noah is almost certainly going to be limited and his playing time is likely going to be low. Leave Noah on the wire in most leagues for now.
