Dwight Howard (shoulder) did not practice on Saturday.

He suffered a shoulder stinger in Friday's showdown with the Clippers, but he was able to play through it. The Lakers don't tip until Sunday night against the Nuggets, so another day of rest could help Howard. He hasn't had any right shoulder problems since 2009 and his owners shouldn't be overly concerned.

LeBron James led his All-Star team to a spirited win on Sunday with 29 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, four 3-pointers and one steal in a game-high 31 minutes.

LeBron earned All-Star MVP honors and his team played surprisingly aggressive defense down the stretch, including a suffocating double-team against Stephen Curry at the end of regulation. In the process, LeBron passed Oscar Robertson for fifth-most assists in All-Star game history, and he's just two assists behind Bob Cousy. King James wasn't messing around tonight, and we can only hope this sets the tone for future All-Star games.
Feb 18 - 11:47 PM

Taj Gibson scored a career-high 28 points with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 39 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday.

He continues to be the steady hand and maybe he's just what the Wolves needed to be a playoff team. They are tied with the Spurs for the No. 3 spot in the Western Conference and may have the inside track for that spot with the Spurs having a really tough schedule ahead. Gibson has quietly coasted to top-40 value in nine-category leagues this season and has been a steal for his fantasy owners. In Thibs he trusts.
Feb 15 - 11:47 PM

Jimmy Butler scored 24 points with five rebounds, four assists, one steal, three blocks and one turnover in 41 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday.

He and coach Tom Thibodeau seem to be a good fit together with Jimmy playing some of his best ball right now. According to NBA.com's David Aldridge, Thibs could "do whatever is necessary" to keep Butler on the Wolves for a long time, which could include an extension this summer. Either way, his fantasy owners have a stud on their hands the rest of the way, but the Wolves have played two more games than every other team in the NBA. His fantasy owners may want to check how that affects them.
Feb 15 - 11:44 PM

Ivica Zubac scored put up season-highs 19 points and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes during a 119-111 loss to the Wolves on Thursday.

He only scored 23 points for the entire season before tonight, so this was a shocker. Zubac has reportedly been very impressive in the G League and it looks like the Lakers will go back to giving him minutes. He was really starting to turn the corner last season before a season-ending injury, so maybe the Lakers try it again. He did only play six minutes combined in the last two games, so he still has a lot of work to do before he becomes a hot pickup in standard leagues. He's more of a mystery-box stash in deeper leagues.
Feb 15 - 11:43 PM

Julius Randle scored 23 points with nine rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 31 minutes against the Wolves on Thursday.

He did have some defensive issues and he fouled out in this loss. Randle should continue to see the lion's share of minutes at power forward and he continues to hang around 32 minutes per game. He also had some momentum coming into this game, averaging 20.3 points, 7.5 boards, 3.8 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.2 treys. He's kind of peaking.
Feb 15 - 11:36 PM

Nikola Jokic turned in one of the best stat lines of the year during a 134-123 win over the Bucks on Thursday, making 11-of-14 from the field for 30 points with 15 boards, 17 assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

He recorded the quickest triple-double based on his playing time at just 14:33 played to break Jim Tucker's record of 17 minutes back in 1955. Jokic also hit the triple-double mark with 1:54 left in the second quarter to make it the quickest in the last 20 years based on game-clock time. The Joker also joins James Harden and Larry Bird as the only players with at least 30 points, 15 boards and 15 dimes in a game over the last 35 years. He's also loved playing the Bucks with a triple-double in each of his last three games against them. It's almost hard to believe how much skill this 22-year-old Serbian has.
Feb 15 - 10:47 PM

Jamal Murray made 9-of-12 from the field for 26 points with five rebounds, five assists, three steals and five 3-pointers in 36 minutes against the Bucks on Thursday.

He caught fire in the third quarter to help give the Nuggets a huge cushion in the third. On the downside, Murray actually missed multiple free throws for the first time this season, which is very impressive for a guy with over 160 attempts on the season. He'll be taking his silky smooth jumper to Los Angeles to defend his Rising Stars MVP. The Blue Arrow is having a breakout year in reality and fantasy.
Feb 15 - 10:45 PM

Gary Harris (foot) looked 100 percent against the Bucks on Thursday, scoring 28 points with one rebound, two assists, one steal and five 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

He was called probable today and apparently likes to be on the injury report. He hit his signature game-winning jumper against OKC with a minor ankle issue, he dropped 23 against the Knicks in January with a minor injury, and he had 25 against Dallas when he had a personal issue put him on the report last month, too. Harris still doesn't get the credit he deserves in the mainstream hoops world, but hardcore fans and fantasy owners know how special he is.
Feb 15 - 10:42 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo posted his first triple-double of the season during a 134-123 loss to the Nuggets on Thursday, scoring 36 points with 11 rebounds, 13 assists, three blocks and one 3-pointer in 39 minutes.

That's his ninth triple-double of his career to set a Bucks franchise record. This was also Antetokounmpo's first double-digit dime game of the year, and it's become very clear scoring the ball is his best attribute. Giannis sits at a tidy 60.6 TS% with his 31.7 usage rate on the season, so he's in some elite company with only six points qualifiers ever hitting those two numbers in a season. The Bucks will battle for playoff positioning in the second half and Giannis should be very active the rest of the way.
Feb 15 - 10:39 PM

Eric Bledsoe scored 27 points with three rebounds, eight assists, five steals and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Nuggets on Thursday.

Those five steals get him back in second place with his 2.12 steals per game this year (Paul George has 2.21, Victor Oladipo has 2.10). Bledsoe's scoring is also up over his last six games with 21.5 points per game while adding strong percentages and full lines. He's trending up and is a strong bet for top-50 value the rest of the way.
Feb 15 - 10:26 PM

Gary Harris and Jamal Murray will start against the Bucks on Thursday.

They'll join Wilson Chandler, Will Barton and Nikola Jokic in the first unit. Harris did have a minor right foot injury put him on the injury report, but it was likely just a precaution. Fire him up in all leagues.
