Marcus Thornton (ankle) will not play on Saturday.

This marks Thornton's fourth consecutive DNP and he's questionable to return vs. the Grizzlies on Monday, which begins the Kings' three-game week. Francisco Garcia, who shot 1-of-7 in a lousy performance on Friday, will get another start at SG in his absence.

Jared Dudley made NBA history during Friday's game, becoming the first player to hit 10 or more shots while connecting on three 3-pointers without a miss.

This arguably goes down as one of the craziest performances in the NBA this season, and if you played Jared Dudley in daily leagues you were more than likely handsomely rewarded. While Dudley will probably never come close to doing this again, he has earned a decent role in Milwaukee following the loss of Jabari Parker (leg) for the season. If you are in need of 3-pointers and steals, Dudley is worth a look.
Dec 27 - 10:17 AM

Zach Randolph (knee) likely won't play against the Heat on Saturday.

He has missed the last three games due to his ailing knee, and we wouldn't blame the Grizzlies if they opted to rest him until he is feeling better. Randolph is currently dealing with some swelling in his knee, but the good news is that the MRI he had last week came back clean so he should be fine with continued rest. Check back before tip-off to confirm, but expect Jon Leuer and Kosta Koufos to fill the void.
Dec 27 - 9:59 AM

Rodney Stuckey is dealing with a swollen right eye, and his status is not known for Saturday's game against the Nets.

He suffered a blow to the face from Andre Drummond in the third quarter of Friday's game and was not able to return. Stuckey can barely see out of his eye so there is a real possibility that he could rest on Saturday. If he does sit, expect George Hill and C.J. Watson to carry the load for the Pacers.
Dec 27 - 9:25 AM

Ray Allen is reportedly leaning towards retiring despite interest from several different contending teams.

It would be great to see one of the best shooters in NBA history back out on the court but this news is a little troubling. Teams such as San Antonio, Washington, Chicago, Cleveland, and Golden State have all shown interest so it is a little surprising that a deal hasn't been completed. Regardless, even if Allen does sign with a team he won't have a large enough role to matter in most leagues. We will pass along any updates as needed.
Dec 27 - 9:01 AM

Alex Len scored 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting with a career-best 11 rebounds and career-best five blocks against the Kings on Friday.

Len logged just 23 minutes but this output comes off some real momentum and he's a must-own player in standard leagues. We can't guarantee that there aren't hiccups, but the upside is right and he looks like he has taken a proverbial step forward.
Dec 27 - 5:02 AM

Marcus Morris hit six 3-pointers off the bench on Friday against the Kings, finishing with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting with nine rebounds, five assists and one steal in 28 minutes.

We're not entirely sure he and Markieff (17 points, two rebounds, three steals, one three) don't sometimes switch jerseys but all kidding aside it's a great night for the other Morris twin. He'll have a hard time having more than borderline value in 12-team standard leagues, but if he can build off this we'll let you know.
Dec 27 - 4:59 AM

Isaiah Thomas enjoyed a solid revenge game in Friday's win over the reeling Kings, scoring 17 points on 7-of-17 shooting with two threes, three boards, five assists and a steal in 29 minutes.

Thomas took over in the fourth quarter like he did so many times playing for the Kings, repeatedly taunting the vicinity of where Kings' decision-makers would normally sit but weren't there for this particular game. They say revenge is a dish best served cold, but in this case it came in 30 minutes or less and steaming hot.
Dec 27 - 4:57 AM

Wesley Matthews hit seven 3-points in the Blazers' 114-93 win over the Sixers on Friday.

Matthews finished with 25 points on 9-of-18 shooting to go with a steal in an easy win. He's been a top-50 play this season and is hitting just under three treys per game. Damian Lillard also took advantage of the matchup with 28 points, three treys, five boards, nine assists and a 7-of-7 mark from the line, but Terry Stotts will probably grill him over the seven turnovers against a bad opponent.
Dec 27 - 4:52 AM

Tony Wroten scored 22 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 7-of-13 shots (1-of-4 3PTs, 7-of-9 FTs) with four rebounds, four assists and two steals in 27 minutes.

Wroten won't shoot it this well on most nights and he has had a hard time staying on the court. He could be worth a look in 8-cat leagues but the emergence of K.J. McDaniels and Robert Covington complicates what was once an open season for Wroten hucking up shots. Hollis Thompson was also out tonight, giving some minutes to the rest of the rotation.
Dec 27 - 4:39 AM

Kenneth Faried exploded in the Nuggets' 106-102 win over the Wolves on Friday, scoring 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting with a career-high 25 rebounds and three assists.

It looks like the big talk with Brian Shaw is paying off and we're finally off the hook for telling you guys to hold on all that time (we think). A happy and engaged Faried is a completely different player than the one we've seen in the beginning of the past two seasons.
Dec 27 - 4:33 AM

Charlie Villanueva continued his improbable run as Mavs' backup big man on Friday, scoring 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds and four blocks.

Villanueva was fatigued by the minutes and he has three very solid games under his belt. We don't know if this can continue but he's the only real backup big that they have that can do anything offensively. He can't keep his current mid-round production from the last week up, but deep league owners can certainly speculate on his value and standard league owners (especially in 9-cat) may want to start giving him a look.
