Anthony Morrow (hip) missed his fifth consecutive game on Saturday.

Lou Williams has been starting at SG partly due to the absence of Morrow and Devin Harris, but he's playing well enough that he may hang onto the job even once they return.

Bucks' GM John Hammond said that he views Thon Maker as a "rotational player at a minimum" to start his career.

"The one thing with him is we're not going to have to teach him how to work," said Hammond of Maker. "Short-term, we have some patience with him. But Thon has size and can stretch the floor." Maker has a frail frame, but he's a highly intriguing prospect as a 7'1" big with a sweet jumper and ball handling skills. He'll likely be logging most his minutes at the four-spot to begin his career, meaning he'll be serving as Jabari Parker's backup. It'll likely take Maker some time to establish himself as a standard league asset.

Marco Belinelli went to the hospital after being hit in the left eye during an exhibition game for Team Italy on Sunday.

Currently there aren't any additional details regarding Belinelli's eye, although a hospital visit indicates that he could be dealing with a significant injury. A worst-case scenario here would likely be an orbital fracture, and while that would likely force Belinelli out of the Olympics, he'd still have plenty of time to recover for the 2016-17 season.

John Wall said that he's ahead of schedule in his recovery from surgeries to his left and right knee, and he expects to be able to run at full speed by the end of July.

"This week I can start doing a little bit of running, like jogging and stuff like that," said Wall. "Probably not until the end of July I can really start having full out sprints and stuff. Start really working out. I can start doing basketball drills and stuff like that. I can stand up now. I just can’t change directions and cut." Wall is on track to be ready for training camp, although he's made it clear that he will not rush his recovery. Either way, he should be good to go when the 2016-17 season kicks off, and he'll be worth an early-round selection on draft day.

The Knicks are expected to get an opportunity to sit down with Kevin Durant.

The Lakers and Wizards have reportedly been crossed off Durant's list, but the Knicks' chances of signing him are still slim to none. The Thunder are still said to be the favorites to re-sign him, with the Warriors and Spurs next in line. In addition to those teams, the Clippers, Celtics and Heat are also expected to meet with Durant.

According to the New York Post, Joakim Noah is the Knicks' top target in free agency.

We already know that Derrick Rose is going to recruit him, and New York obviously needs a starting center after trading away Robin Lopez to the Bulls. Noah has also been linked to the Wolves, but the Knicks have plenty of cap space and it sounds like they are going to aggressively pursue him on July 1.

Donatas Motiejunas said he likely won't play for Lithuania in the Olympics because his back still isn't 100 percent.

"The specialists told me that it is necessary to strengthen it and I have to make specific exercises," Motiejunas said. "I still hope to play for Lithuania but I am aware that I may not play for the National Team." His back has been a major red flag for a while now and it's not a great sign that it's still bothering him two months after the Rockets' season ended. If anything, the durability issues should keep his price down as he enters restricted free agency.

DeMar DeRozan does not plan to schedule meetings with other teams at the start of free agency, according to Tim McMahon of ESPN.com.

He is going to focus on agreeing to terms with the Raptors. DeRozan has said his mindset has always been Toronto for basically the entire season, including after he was knocked out of the postseason. The Raptors can offer DeRozan a five-year, $153 million deal. General manager Masai Ujiri said his No. 1 goal is to bring the 2015-16 All-Star back, so the Raptors are heavy favorites.

Kyrie Irving has accepted his invitation from USA Basketball to play in the 2016 Olympics.

He didn't play much basketball last summer with his knee injury, but this year he'll be playing a ton. Irving will be arguably the best point guard on the Team USA roster and should run the offense while he's out there. The 24-year-old guard accepting his invite also suggests his foot injury during the playoffs is feeling better.

The Lakers plan to "aggressively pursue" Hassan Whiteside in free agency, according to ESPN's Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne.

In other words, it sounds like they might offer him a max contract. The Lakers have a gaping hole at center with Julius Randle logging the overwhelming majority of his minutes at power forward, so they will be investing most of their cap space on a center. The Heat have made him their top priority and are likely the frontrunner to have him next year.

The Jazz are not looking to trade Gordon Hayward according to Deseret News.

A report from hoopscritic.com indicated that Hayward is unhappy in Utah, but that has since been discredited. Hayward has been working out at Zions Bank Basketball Center every morning and a team source made it clear that there is nothing to the rumor. The Jazz still believe that Hayward is a major cornerstone and it doesn't sound like he's going anywhere despite rumored interest from the Celtics and the Suns.

Earl Watson said that the Suns are not shopping Eric Bledsoe.

There was a report that the Suns were looking to deal either Brandon Knight or Bledsoe, but take Watson's comments with a grain of salt because admitting to this would hurt the Suns' leverage in trade talks. Bledsoe (knee) has resumed basketball activities and has a goal to be 100 percent for training camp, but trading him while his value is low wouldn't make much sense for the Suns. Expect him to open the season as the starting PG in Phoenix next season.
