LeBron James didn't seem concerned after rolling his ankle during Sunday's game, saying, "Yeah, just add it to the list. But I'll be ready for the next one."

LBJ already has a sore knee and shoulder, but he's been playing hurt all season and has yet to miss a game. We're listing him as questionable for Tuesday as a precaution, but he should be in all lineups for Miami's three-game week, which kicks off a six-game roadtrip.

Joel Embiid has some swelling in his left knee and is out indefinitely.

Embiid is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday afternoon, so maybe we'll get a better update on his timetable after that. He was originally ruled out through Mar. 3, but it sounds like he's looking at an extended absence. The playoffs are basically out of the question for Philly, so the shut-down risk here is huge. The outlooks for Jahlil Okafor and Richaun Holmes have improved with this report.
Feb 27 - 11:43 AM

Kyle Korver (knee) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Bucks.

Korver was at the morning shootaround getting up some shots, so he's probably closer to probable. Whatever the case, we'll have a better idea after the pre-game warmups tonight. LeBron James is also questionable with an illness, while it's unclear if Deron Williams (trade) will be cleared in time. Iman Shumpert and Jordan McRae could see a bump in minutes if Korver is unable to play.

The Nets have officially waived Luis Scola.

Scola was playing on an expiring contract, but this will give him the chance to join a contender in what could be his final season in the NBA. With Scola no longer in the mix, Justin Hamitlon should have a few more minutes coming his way. Expect the Nets to sign another big with their open roster spot.

LeBron James (illness) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Bucks.

If LeBron misses his second game in a row, Richard Jefferson will draw another start and will be a low-end streaming option, but Kyrie Irving will be the big winner -- Irving's usage rate without LeBron on the floor is 41.6. LeBron didn't attend shootaround, so he will likely end up being a game-time call.
Feb 27 - 11:13 AM

Thabo Sefolosha will start ahead of Tim Hardaway Jr. on Monday vs. the Celtics.

Sefolosha has played in two straight games after returning from a nine-game absence due to a groin injury. He's averaging 7.5 points, 4.1 boards, 1.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.7 triples in 27 starts this season, so he's more of a deep-league add if you need to stream some steals.
Feb 27 - 11:04 AM

Magic coach Frank Vogel finally admitted that Aaron Gordon is better at power forward.

It only took Vogel four months, but better late than never. "Everybody’s now in their right position, quite frankly," Vogel said. "I think Aaron being a four is better for him. He did well at the three defensively, but he’s better at the four." Gordon said there's better floor spacing with him at the four and added that he feels like the team is quicker. Gordon had 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting with three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one turnover in 24 minutes against the Hawks on Saturday, so his fantasy arrow is pointing up for the final couple months of the season as he's going to be getting a lot more easy looks around the rim.
Feb 27 - 10:44 AM

Patrick Beverley (groin) said that he will play on Monday vs. the Pacers.

"It's still a little tight, but [this is] that time of the season. Your body is not going to be 100 percent," Beverley said. "Tried to be cautious with it, push through it and try to keep this thing going. I'm mentally tough. I know I'm not going to be 100 percent; I'm not going to be 90 percent. But if I feel good, I'm going to try to give it a go no matter what." Beverley appeared to be fine on Saturday vs. the Wolves with 15 points, seven assists, four rebounds, three steals and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes, so his fantasy owners should deploy him barring a late surprise.
Feb 27 - 9:51 AM

The Knicks are planning to use their open roster spot to sign Chasson Randle.

Randle was with the Knicks during the offseason, but was waived after suffering an orbital wall fracture. He ended up in Philly, but was eventually waived as the 76ers needed his roster spot to acquire Andrew Bogut in the Nerlens Noel trade. Randle has some talent and is a solid 3-point shooter, so he could be very interesting later in the season if Derrick Rose gets hurt or is shut down. He will be signed for the remainder of the season and will have a team option for next season. Randle is expected to be available for Monday's game vs. Toronto.
Feb 27 - 9:07 AM

The Knicks will waive PG Brandon Jennings.

It's a sign that the Knicks are ready to rebuild, as Jennings is on an expiring $5 million contract and they are planning to use his roster spot to sign Chasson Randle. Jennings averaged 8.6 points and 4.9 assists with the Knicks, but only shot 38.0 percent from the field. Maybe he lands in an ideal situation for fantasy value, but he's not a great stash at the moment. He will more than likely join up with a playoff team, so we're not optimistic.
Feb 27 - 9:05 AM

Chris Paul dished out 17 assists with zero turnovers on Sunday, adding 15 points and nine rebounds in 41 minutes during an overtime win vs. Charlotte.

CP3 had never recorded seven assists and five rebounds in a single first quarter in his esteemed career, but he did it in the first quarter tonight. He also passed John Stockton with the most games of at least 15 points and 15 rebounds without a single turnover, having done it six times. He shot an uncharacteristic 4-of-18 from the field tonight, but needless to say, he's looked perfectly healthy since returning ahead of schedule from thumb surgery.
Feb 27 - 12:54 AM

Blake Griffin made a career-high three 3-pointers vs. Charlotte on Sunday to finish with 43 points (15-of-26 FGs, 10-of-16 FTs), 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Blake's 43 points were the most scored by a Clippers player this season. The Hornets are giving up a league-high 11.3 triples per game and Blake took full advantage of their perimeter defense. He also did plenty of work in the paint, including one soaring putback dunk, and concerns about his explosion after knee surgery are getting quieter on a nightly basis. The star PF even logged 42 minutes with just one turnover tonight, rounding out a stellar performance.
