Ty Lawson (Achilles) returned to Denver's starting lineup with a flourish, scoring 21 points with 10 assists, three steals and zero turnovers in 33 minutes.

Lawson paced the Nuggets to 25 fastbreak points and his owners can breathe a lot easier after his Achilles scare and his brief bench role. Denver rests until Wednesday and plays only three games in the next eight days, giving Lawson more time to fully recuperate.

Norman Powell started in Game 4 against the Bucks on Saturday, scoring 12 points with four rebounds, four assists, one block and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Norm is freed. He was basically out of the rotation in the first two games and was thrust into added minutes during Thursday's blowout loss. Powell likely just started as an offensive spark and to allow the Raptors to go with several small-ball lineups, but he held his own on defense against guys like Khris Middleton. There's little doubt that Norm will get another start on Monday, so he'll be an obvious cheap DFS option.
Apr 22 - 6:23 PM

Giannis Antetokounmpo made just 6-of-19 from the field for 14 points with nine rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and seven turnovers during an 87-76 loss to the Raptors on Saturday.

Besides his 10 points in the second quarter, Giannis was not the 2016-17 version of himself during this game. Antetokounmpo was just 3-of-10 on jumpers in this game and was even worse on layups at just 2-of-8. He was also pressing a bit to cause those seven turnovers, as well. You could say Giannis was just due for a bad game after he dominated this series perhaps more than any other player has done so in the past week. He'll be better on Monday in Toronto as this series has now become just a best of three.
Apr 22 - 5:53 PM

Dewayne Dedmon (illness) will not play against the Grizzlies in Game 4 on Saturday.

Dedmon has been starting and played 12.7 minutes per game in this series, so it's not the toughest hole to fill. The Spurs will likely divide those minutes to Pau Gasol, LaMarcus Aldridge and David Lee. Davis Bertans could also be an option as the last man in the rotation, or maybe they go with more Kyle Anderson.
Apr 22 - 5:23 PM

Jusuf Nurkic's status for Game 3 against the Warriors will be determined after he tests leg in pregame work on the court, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

He has gone through some non-contact portion of practice and is doubtful to play. Nurkic has said before he has super strength and he isn't feeling pain, so he does have a chance to play. Plus, the Blazers being in an 0-2 hole may help his chances to be out there. If he is cleared, he'll almost certainly have a minutes cap.
Apr 22 - 4:28 PM

Rudy Gobert (knee) is unlikely to play in Game 4 on Sunday.

Sadly, this isn't a surprise for the Jazz and they'll continue to have to play Derrick Favors more minutes than they probably want to. Favors has looked gassed in the fourth quarter, playing 34.7 minutes per game in his last three. Jeff Withey has also been in the rotation and the Jazz do use Boris Diaw at the five. Joe Johnson and Joe Ingles are also getting some added opportunity, and now the Jazz could go smaller a lot more now that Blake Griffin (toe) is out.
Apr 22 - 4:04 PM

Norman Powell will indeed get the start and Jonas Valanciunas will come off the bench in Game 4 on Saturday.

Today's starting lineup for the Raptors has not played together yet, so we're headed for a new frontier. Coach Dwane Casey is going to try to outscore the Bucks and live with Giannis Antetokounmpo having an advantage on the offensive side. JV's minutes may drop below 20 in this game, so he's a tough DFS player to trust.
Apr 22 - 2:55 PM

The Raptors are expected to start Norm Powell against the Bucks with Jonas Valanciunas coming off the bench for Game 4.

It's not as surprising as the Gerald Green move, but Powell starting over Valanciunas is a surprise. The Raptors just can't have a first half like they did in Game 3, so that likely explains this offense-first approach. Powell hasn't done well in his starts when DeMar DeRozan is active, but he's still in play as a DFS punt.
Apr 22 - 2:33 PM

Kevin Durant (calf) went through shootaround on Saturday and remains questionable to face the Blazers in Game 3.

After going through practice on Friday, going through shootaround isn't a major development for his status. Durant is somewhat close to 100 percent, but the Warriors want to get him all the way back for what is likely to be a two-month playoff run. If KD can't go, Stephen Curry Draymond Green and Klay Thompson will have added responsibility while guys like Andre Iguodala, Pat McCaw and maybe even Ian Clark get some added run. Matt Barnes (ankle) and Shaun Livingston (hand) are also still questionable.
Apr 22 - 2:22 PM

The Raptors will make a change to starting lineup on Saturday.

The Raptors have talked a lot about limiting Giannis Antetokounmpo, so Tucker is the heavy favorite to be starting here. While he did play just 14 minutes in Game 3, it was more because of how the Raptors desperately needed offense. It could also be someone like Norman Powell or even Delon Wright for either Jonas Valanciunas or DeMarre Carroll. After Gerald Green started for Boston on Friday, anything is possible.
Apr 22 - 1:45 PM

Blake Griffin will miss the remainder of the 2017 NBA Playoffs with an injury to the plantar plate of his right big toe.

The Clippers simply can't catch a break, as this is yet another postseason in which they have to deal with a debilitating injury to one of their star players. Griffin injured the toe late in the first half on Friday. Marreese Speights started the second half in place of Blake and will continue to see an uptick in minutes going forward, but Speights may still come off the bench if Austin Rivers (hamstring) is healthy enough to return. Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan will be asked to shoulder the offensive load going forward. CP3's usage rate will spike, just as it did in the second half of Game 3.
Apr 22 - 10:36 AM

Chris Paul carried the Clippers to a comeback 111-106 win in Utah on Friday, scoring 34 points with seven rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and two 3-pointers.

No Blake Griffin in the second half, no problem. The Clippers overcame a 14-point deficit for their largest road comeback since 2012, and CP3's 24 points in the second half were a big reason why -- also had seven rebounds in the second half. Even if BG has to miss time, the Clippers may be OK with CP3 at the helm and getting more shots. He also passed Wilt Chamberlain for 30th on the all-time playoffs assists list. The Clippers will take their 2-1 lead to Utah again for Sunday's Game 4.
