Marcus Thornton (ankle) is targeting a return this week.

Thornton's ankle sprain has kept him sidelined, but he's making progress and hasn't experienced any setbacks. Assuming he does return this week, Thornton will squash any value Francisco Garcia held, while Jimmer Fredette could also see his playing time decreased.

Anthony Davis (shoulder) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Pistons.

All reports on Davis up to this point have been positive, so there's a good chance he's able to return to action on Wednesday. However, if he's unable to go on Wednesday, his next opportunity to play will come Friday vs. Boston, and then Saturday vs. Memphis. We'll continue to monitor this situation closely, but when Davis does return to the court, Alexis Ajinca's value will take a sizable hit. Stay tuned.
Mar 3 - 4:11 PM

Tyler Johnson (ankle) did not participate during Tuesday's practice, but he is expected to play Wednesday vs. the Lakers.

Johnson is experiencing some soreness in his left ankle after a hard fall during Monday's physical game against the Suns, but the injury is not expected to cause Johnson to miss any action. "It's been better," Johnson said of his ankle. "I walked out [Monday] and it was really painful. I came out and got some treatment. It's only getting better." Johnson is coming off a career-high 26 point outing, but we'd like to see a similar performance before recommending him as an add in standard leagues.
Mar 3 - 3:43 PM

Hassan Whiteside expressed his regret on Tuesday for wrestling with Alex Len during Monday's game against the Suns.

"I regret doing that," Whiteside said. "That was the first time. Violence is not the answer. That's what it was. I just felt like [Len] was frustrated with as many as dunks that I did on him." Whiteside will likely be suspended for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, leaving Udonis Haslem, Michael Beasley, and Chris Andersen to man Miami's frontcourt.
Mar 3 - 3:27 PM

Chandler Parsons (ankle) will travel with the Mavs on their upcoming three-game road trip.

Parsons will be traveling with the team, but head coach Rick Carlisle said he's unsure of his availability for Thursday's game vs. the Trail Blazers. We'll be considering him questionable, and if he's unable to go, Richard Jefferson will have another game with the starting unit.
Mar 3 - 3:13 PM

Tyson Chandler (hip) will travel with the Mavs on their upcoming three-game road trip.

Chandler has missed the Mavs' previous three games with a hip injury, and we'll be considering him questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Trail Blazers. If he's unable to go, Bernard James will have an opportunity to slide into the starting lineup, but with averages of just 3.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game as a starter his value is limited to deeper leagues.
Mar 3 - 3:11 PM

Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is likely headed for a game-time decision for Tuesday's game vs. Boston.

We'll continue to monitor this situation closely, but if Irving is unavailable, Matthew Dellavedova will have another game with the starting unit. However, Dellavedova only managed to put up three points and four assists through 41 minutes of action during his last start, so the true beneficiaries of an Irving absence will be LeBron James and Kevin Love.
Mar 3 - 2:57 PM

DeMarre Carroll is expected to return to the lineup for Tuesday's game vs. Houston after being rested on Saturday vs. Miami.

When Carroll was asked if his shoulder was still bothering him, he responded: "I'm good. Junkyard Dog. Get a little bumps and bruises but I'm good." All signs are pointing towards Carroll returning to the lineup today for a tough matchup with the Rockets, a move that will send Kent Bazemore back to the bench, and irrelevancy in most leagues.
Mar 3 - 2:49 PM

Goran Dragic said on Tuesday that he is still experiencing pain in his right shoulder stemming from a hard collision he took during Monday's game against Phoenix.

Dragic did not participate during Tuesday's practice and we'll be considering him questionable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers. If he's unable to go, Mario Chalmers would slide back into the starting lineup, with Shabazz Napier seeing extended minutes off the bench. Stay tuned.
Mar 3 - 2:29 PM

Kevin Durant (foot) will remain sidelined for Wednesday's game vs. the 76ers, as well as Thursday's game vs. the Bulls.

The Thunder are going to be extremely cautious in bringing Durant back after his most recent setback, and he still hasn't been able to go through a full practice. We'll continue to monitor this situation closely, but for as long as Durant is sidelined, Russell Westbrook will continue to put up ridiculous stat lines, with Dion Waiters, D.J. Augustin, and Enes Kanter also seeing some increased touches on offense.
Mar 3 - 2:13 PM

Steven Adams (hand) returned to practice for the first time on Tuesday and could play against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Adams was spotted wearing a glove during practice and said he will see how he feels before making a determination on his status for Wednesday. He'll likely return to a bench role now that Enes Kanter is on the Thunder's roster, so Adams can be left on waivers in standard fantasy leagues for now.
Mar 3 - 1:59 PM

DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) is probable for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.

This is great news for Cousins' owners after he missed the last two games with a sprained left ankle. He'll be slotted back into the Kings' starting lineup and can be activated across all fantasy leagues. Boogie is averaging 23.6 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.9 blocks over his last eight games and has a favorable matchup against the Knicks on Tuesday.
