Rajon Rondo has been suspended for Monday's game for "making contact with an official and failure to cooperate with a league investigation."

The lack of cooperation part is a bit mystifying, but Rondo will miss one game for slightly bumping a ref in Saturday's game (in which he posted a triple-double). The Celtics play just three games this week, which knocks Rondo down to two games and forces owners to weigh their options closely for weekly lineups. Jason Terry gets a short-term boost in his absence.

LeBron James has all the information he needs from teams and will no longer take meetings, according to David Aldridge of NBA.com.

The report has been confirmed by USA Today's Sam Amick, Marc Spears of Yahoo!, and ESPN's Chris Broussard, so these reports are almost factual. LeBron met with Heat president Pat Riley on Wednesday and didn't make a decision, so that will go down as one of the most important free agent meetings in NBA history. It's certainly interesting that he won't meet with the Cavs (unless a secret meeting went down last weekend) because David Blatt is new to being an NBA coach and David Griffin is their new general manager. Hopefully, he'll have a decision in the next couple days.

Greivis Vasquez has reached an agreement to re-sign with the Raptors for $13 million over two years.

He was a restricted free agent, but there was never really a doubt he'd be coming back, especially after the Raptors traded away Steve Novak. Vasquez gets a hefty raise here from just $2.1 million last year, so the Raptors may have went a bit over market value for a backup point guard. They also dropped $48 million over four years for their starter Kyle Lowry. The Raptors also have brought in Lou Williams in another trade this summer. Wanna guess what their favorite position is this offseason?

David Aldridge is reporting that Chris Bosh doesn't have a contingency plan with the Rockets in case LeBron James leaves the Heat, which is contrary to most other reports out there.

Aldridge says he's been told "strongly' that Bosh has no deal with the Rockets, which would mean the signing of LeBron by any team would still result in mystery theater across the rest of the league. There's still a decent chance Bosh could end up in Houston, with LeBron going 'home' to Cleveland, but we'll obviously have to wait and see what becomes of 'The Decision, Part II.'

The Timberwolves are willing to let the market "play out" until LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Bosh make their decisions, according to Yahoo! Sports.

It makes sense. There are going to be multiple teams missing the boat on making a splash in free agency, so those teams may be more willing to overpay. The latest rumor is Love for Andrew Wiggins, but there would have to be other moving parts for that to work. The Wolves keep pushing back their expectations on dealing the All-Star, but they'll be dealing him at some point.
Jul 9 - 9:40 PM

Chris Bosh has decided to sign with the Rockets if LeBron James leaves the Heat, according to ESPN.com.

This isn't really a breaking report and the word on the street has been Bosh isn't going to play in Miami without LeBron. It's hard to believe the Heat will suddenly be left out of the free-agency game of musical chairs after things looked so great when Dwyane Wade opted out of the last two years of his deal worth $41.5 million. Chandler Parsons agreed to an offer sheet, which means the Rockets will have three days from Thursday morning to match. Obviously, they would love a decision from Bosh before those three days are up.

Unrestricted free agent Mike Miller is getting close to agreeing to terms with the Nuggets, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.com.

The Cavaliers are believed to be after Miller and his market value seems to be on the rise. Miller had a tough time staying healthy before last season, so it should be interesting to see if the Nuggets are willing to pay more than $4 million to bring him on board. He'll have very little fantasy value.

Nerlens Noel blocked five shots in 25 minutes vs. the Nets on Wednesday, adding 14 points, nine boards, one assist, one steal and one turnover on 4-of-8 from the field.

He also played on Tuesday, so the back-to-back speaks volumes here. Noel has been one of the most impressive players in summer league and has been able to dominate in the paint. Of course, this is summer league and he'll have a much tougher time making his presence felt down low against the bigger, more polished players in the big league. That said, he's picking up some major momentum as a pick in fantasy drafts.
Jul 9 - 8:07 PM

LeBron James left the meeting with president Pat Riley without committing to a deal with the Heat, according to Yahoo! Sports.

There are some reports surfacing that he's going to announce his decision on his website, but it's all just a guessing game right now. LeBron could make his decision before he goes to the World Cup Final on Sunday, but even that is just a guess at this point. The Heat may have been hoping to get a deal done, so today probably didn't go as well as they hoped. ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported that LeBron does not have a meeting scheduled with Cleveland at this time.
Jul 9 - 7:39 PM

Kobe Bryant said on Wednesday that he wants Byron Scott to coach the Lakers.

Kobe usually gets what he wants, so the hiring of Scott should probably be in short order. Scott has been the favorite all along and few other candidates have really made any sort of splash.
Jul 9 - 7:27 PM

Restricted free agent Chandler Parsons and the Mavericks have reached agreement on three-year offer sheet worth in excess of $45 million, according to ESPN.com.

He will sign the deal early Thursday and the Rockets will have three days to match. The Rockets will certainly be hoping LeBron James makes his decision, which will then dictate how Chris Bosh will make his move. Parsons was fantastic in the Rockets' system and his skill set would be maximized in Houston. Yes, this means Parsons will make more money than Dirk Nowitzki. The third year is a player option.
Jul 9 - 6:56 PM

The Cavaliers are pursuing a Kevin Love trade with the Wolves, contingent on the signing of LeBron James, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

It's one thing to pursue a trade, it's another to make it. The Cavs have a lot of speculation surrounding their team right now, but adding Kevin Love to LeBron makes sense considering they'd need some help up front. The Cavs would almost certainly have to give up Andrew Wiggins to make this deal work while also getting rid of guys like Anderson Varejao.
