Updating a previous item, Iman Shumpert (knee) has been cleared for full contact practice.

Shumpert's return gives him clearance to participate in 5-on-5 practice drills, and it is just a matter of time before he makes his debut in mid-to-late January. He will likely eat into the minutes of Ronnie Brewer and should make an impact defensively immediately upon his return.

Spencer Dinwiddie made 3-of-13 from the field for nine points with one rebound, two steals and a career-high 13 assists against the Spurs on Wednesday.

With no turnovers as well, that makes this game the most assists for a Net without a turnover since Jason Kidd's 13 way back in 2004. Dinwiddie has been superb at the point and he's clearly earned minutes even when D'Angelo Russell returns, which could come on Friday. His per-minute numbers are fantastic with DAR, so Dinwiddie should still be held in all leagues.

Jordan Bell (ankle) was on crutches and in a walking boot after Wednesday's game in Chicago.

In case you missed it, he has a sprain and will get an MRI on Thursday. Bell said he thought he broke something in his foot, but this is looking like it'll be a bad sprain to keep him out for multiple games. He was actually asked about returning this season and said he's confident he'll be back "sooner rather than later." If you were considering dropping him before this injury, you may want to do so now. Kevon Looney could step up for the short term until Draymond Green (shoulder) gets back.
Jan 17 - 10:53 PM

Kris Dunn (face) went to the locker room in the fourth quarter after a bad fall.

He made a breakaway layup, but the momentum pulled him off the rim and put his body horizontal. Dunn landed on his face and it looked like he may have lost a tooth. He'll certainly be getting checked for a concussion here and he's almost certainly out for the rest of the game, but he was able to walk to the locker room under his own power. Dunn finished with 16 point, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.
Jan 17 - 10:14 PM

Mike Scott got hot off the bench Wednesday, making 7-of-10 shots with two 3-pointers to score 18 points in 25 minutes.

Scott added three assists, two rebounds and one steal, and this was a welcome surprise for anyone deploying him in DFS or deep leagues. He hadn't played more than 18 minutes in a game this month, prior to tonight's blowout, and hasn't been worth owning since a torrid stretch in mid-December. Leave him on the wire.
Jan 17 - 9:52 PM

De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Zach Randolph and Willie Cauley-Stein will start against the Jazz on Wednesday.

Z-Bo is back after getting the night off. That should mean Kosta Koufos is out along with Skal Labissiere (shoulder). We'll try to figure out the pattern the Kings, but all bets are off on who rests until further notice. Randolph is a drop candidate in shallower leagues.
Jan 17 - 9:33 PM

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Achilles) will not return on Wednesday.

It'll be Josh Hart starting the second half at shooting guard. KCP tried to give it a go in warmups before the third quarter, but he didn't feel right. It's worth a mention KCP had a right Achilles issue back in 2015, so there's a very good chance he needs to miss time. Hart is worth a speculative add in deep leagues.
Jan 17 - 9:22 PM

Jamal Murray (concussion protocol) is not expected to play on Friday.

In case you missed it, he is not going to play tonight. Murray took a shot to his face on Tuesday, but he was able to return to the game. There's a very good chance he did play after he suffered the blow to his head, so expect the Nuggets to be extra cautious. Murray will miss his first NBA game tonight and Will Barton will be running the point in the first unit. Emmanuel Mudiay should be in the rotation off the bench.
Jan 17 - 9:18 PM

DeAndre Jordan (ankle) will not play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

He was not expected to play all day and the Clippers will have their hands full against Nikola Jokic. The Clippers could turn to Willie Reed here, but Montrezl Harrell seems like he's a safe bet for at least 24 minutes. Jordan will miss his third game with this injury, so this will be just the second season since 2010-11 in which he's missed more than two games.
Jan 17 - 9:01 PM

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Achilles strain) went to the locker room in the first half on Wednesday and is questionable to return.

He got tangled up with Russell Westbrook and went straight to the locker room. Caldwell-Pope was able to limp to the locker room under his own power, but he was in pain as he went back there. Josh Hart would benefit if KCP is out.
Jan 17 - 8:59 PM

Jordan Bell (left ankle) will not return on Wednesday against the Bulls.

The good news is X-rays were negative, but he will have an MRI on Thursday. It's also good news that it's not knee related, but there's a good chance Bell won't be ready to go this weekend. If he is out, Kevon Looney should fill some extra minutes until Draymond Green (shoulder) can return.
Jan 17 - 8:40 PM

Deyonta Davis will start on Wednesday against the Knicks.

Coach J.B. Bickerstaff really talked up Davis before the game, saying he "has been groomed for these moments" with Marc Gasol and Brandan Wright out. If he can avoid foul trouble, he could be in for a big night as a very strong DFS play.
