George Hill (bronchitis) is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Knicks.

He missed practice on Wednesday and shootaround on Thursday, but he'll give it a go. Hill was dehydrated in Tuesday's game and he's been battling a thigh injury, so he might not be ready to resume his usual allotment of 34.9 minutes per game. D.J. Augustin takes a hit with this news.

The trade sending DeMarcus Cousins and Omri Casspi to the Pelicans in exchange for Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway and some draft picks was finalized on Monday.

"It was time for a change and I decided this was the best direction for the organization, said Vlade Divac. "Winning begins with culture and character matters." Divac went on to half-heartedly thank Cousins for his time in Sacramento and tried to justify the trade by hyping up the draft picks, but the line about"culture" and "character matters" is a pretty obvious shot at Boogie. Both Cousins and Anthony Davis will be sacrificing some touches as they learn to play together, but they both should be able to still fill up the stat sheet for their owners.

The Kings are expected to waive Matt Barnes according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

The Kings are bringing in three players in Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway and Buddy Hield, so they have to cut one player to make the necessary roster room. With Omri Casspi now in New Orleans and Arron Afflalo and Ben McLemore on the trade block, this would leave the Kings very thin on the wings. Buddy Hield should be busy right away. As for Barnes, he should have no problem finding another team if he's waived.

According to ESPN's Chris Haynes, the Rockets are another team to keep an eye on in pursuit of Wilson Chandler.

In case you missed it, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reported on Sunday that the Clippers and Thunder are going to make a push for Chandler at the deadline. There were some rumors going around in early February that Chandler was unhappy with his role in Denver, so he could be available for the right price. A move to Houston wouldn't be ideal for Chandler's fantasy value because they are set at SF and PF with Trevor Ariza and Ryan Anderson, but it would give them a solid second unit that already includes Eric Gordon and Sam Dekker. This report is firmly in the rumor stage.

According to Chris Mannix of The Vertical, Darren Collison, Ben McLemore and Arron Afflalo are all "available" with the deadline looming.

The Kings moved on from DeMarcus Cousins on Sunday which signaled the beginning of a very long rebuild. Collison is set to become a free agent this summer and the Kings probably aren't confident about their ability to re-sign him, so moving him now for a draft pick makes sense before he walks for nothing. His owners will be hoping that he lands in a favorable spot, but a move would likely hurt his fantasy value. Ty Lawson is the big winner here if the Kings find a new home for Collison, unless of course the Kings bring in a young PG.
Feb 20 - 9:40 AM

The Kings have agreed to trade DeMarcus Cousins to the Pelicans, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Kings are expected to get Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway, a future first-round pick and a future second-round pick. This is a stunning move that gives New Orleans an overwhelming frontcourt with Cousins joining All-Star MVP Anthony Davis -- the Pelicans are currently 2.5 games out of the playoff picture, so they could make a late run. Cousins' fantasy value could take a hit in New Orleans, since his usage rate should dip, but he's still an elite fantasy option. Teams on the bubble of the playoff picture out West have been put on notice, and we can't wait to see how Cousins and AD play as a frontcourt duo.

Russell Westbrook scored 41 points during Sunday's All-Star game, making 16-of-26 shots with seven 3-pointers, seven assists, five rebounds and one steal in 20 minutes of action.

Westbrook has no 'off' switch. He threw down an alley-oop from Kevin Durant in the first quarter, which caused the Western Conference bench to serenade both players during a timeout, and the former teammates were the early focal point of tonight's game. His huge line came in just 20 minutes off the bench tonight, and he would have been the MVP for a third straight year if Anthony Davis hadn't blown up for a record-breaking 52 points.
Feb 19 - 11:19 PM

The Pelicans have reportedly made Buddy Hield available in trade talks.

Justin Verrier of ESPN reports that anyone on the team not named Anthony Davis could be had for the right price as the Pelicans look to pair their franchise big man with another All-Star, so it'll be interesting to see if they can make a major move on deadline day. The Kings were linked to the Pelicans concerning a potential DeMarcus Cousins trade, although it seems unlikely that New Orleans will be able to land a guy like DMC with just Hield and some first-round picks.
Feb 19 - 6:30 PM

The Celtics have reportedly expressed "deep interest" in P.J. Tucker.

Tucker would add some solid depth to the Celtics, but his playing time would take a substantial hit in Boston, so Tucker owners should be hoping that he remains in Phoenix past the deadline. There have been more than a few trade rumors regarding Tucker, though, so him remaining with the Suns is far from a certainty.
Feb 19 - 3:06 PM

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, the Wizards have some interest in Bojan Bogdanovic.

The Wizards are looking to upgrade their bench at the deadline and have also been linked to Lou Williams. The Nets are looking for draft picks to speed up their rebuild, and the Wizards "have shown an inclination" to give up a future first-round pick for the right deal. Bogdanovic would surely lose value on a team like the Wizards, but his absence could open the door for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Caris LeVert to have a larger role in Brooklyn's offense.

Glenn Robinson III won the Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday night.

After one of the best Slam Dunk Contests ever last year, this one was a little disappointing. There were a lot of missed dunks and Aaron Gordon just didn't have the bounce that he had last year. Derrick Jones Jr. arguably had the best two dunks on the night, but misses in the final cost him. When he returns to action next week, Robinson III could lose his starting job due to the Pacers looking to deal their first-round pick for some help.
Feb 18 - 10:29 PM

Eric Gordon won the 3-Point Contest on Saturday night.

He tied Kyrie Irving in the final, but dominated in the overtime frame to pass Irving even before the final rack. Gordon actually hasn't shot the ball as well as earlier this year. In fact, he shot 44.1 percent from the field in December, 40.1 percent from there in January, and is at just 37.5 percent this month. Some of this could be due to his injury, so hopefully the time off gets him going again.
