Byron Scott said that Kyrie Irving (illness) will play against the Nuggets on Friday.

He missed shootaround, but has been trying to warm up to play. Kyrie has been on fire lately and has scored 26.6 points per game in his last five games. His owners have to play the second-year stud.

John Henson scored 20 points in 27 minutes against the Nets on Saturday, adding seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks.

What? Coach Jason Kidd is being consistent with his minutes at the five? Henson has played 25.5 minutes per game in his last four with fantastic averages of 14.8 points, 7.8 boards, 1.5 assists, 3.0 blocks and 0.5 steals. We all know Kidd can change his rotation as often as he changes his shirt, but Henson has to be owned everywhere now.
Dec 3 - 8:16 PM

Nikola Jokic (wrist) is expected to be out at least the next three games.

Ouch. Just as Jokic turned the corner, he's now going to miss at least four games with his sore wrist. The new timetable means the soonest he can return would be Thursday against the Wizards. With Jokic out, the Nuggets will really need Jusuf Nurkic to play better while Darrell Arthur, Kenneth Faried and Juan Hernangomez could get more playing time. Jokic's owners have to hold him.
Dec 3 - 7:47 PM

Nikola Mirotic is starting for Dwyane Wade (rest) against the Mavs on Saturday.

He erupted in his last start with 15 points and 15 boards against the Lakers. The matchup isn't quite as good and Mirotic is wildly inconsistent, but he's certainly capable of putting up another nice line. He's a prime DFS option tonight and is a low-end hold in standard leagues.
Dec 3 - 7:06 PM

Larry Nance (right knee contusion) will not play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

The Lakers will be short in the forward department, so there may be a few extra minutes going to Thomas Robinson and Luol Deng. They could also get away with some smaller lineups against the thin Grizzlies squad. Nance is only day-to-day.
Dec 3 - 6:42 PM

DeMarre Carroll is back in the starting lineup against the Hawks on Saturday.

Revenge game? He had the night off against the Lakers on Friday, which was not a surprise with Carroll still limited on back-to-back sets. He's played very well lately, so he's worth a pickup in shallower leagues. Norman Powell will move to the bench.
Dec 3 - 6:36 PM

Dennis Schroder, Kyle Korver, Kent Bazemore, Mike Muscala and Dwight Howard will start against the Raptors on Saturday.

Coach Mike Budenholzer benched his starters to start the second half on Friday due to their woeful -51.3 net rating in the loss. Muscala is the only change for Thabo Sefolosha, which makes sense against the Raptors. Korver is only a borderline hold in fantasy and certainly could use a good game tonight.
Dec 3 - 6:14 PM

Nik Stauskas will start for Robert Covington (knee) against the Celtics on Saturday.

Coach Brett Brown said he wants another ball-handler out there, which may have to do with Joel Embiid being out of the lineup tonight. Sauce Castillo has cooled off considerably, making just 38.1 percent from the field. Although, the uptick in assists with 3.6 per game in his last five may be the reason he starts. He's a speculative add in competitive leagues while Hollis Thompson should benefit as well.
Dec 3 - 5:50 PM

Joel Embiid (rest) will not play against the Celtics on Saturday.

It's scheduled rest on the back-to-back set for The Process. He has seen his minutes limit rise to 28 and it's starting to feel like his back-to-back restriction may not be going on all season. With Embiid out, a non-restricted Jahlil Okafor will get most of the minutes with Richaun Holmes backing him up.
Dec 3 - 5:49 PM

Robert Covington (knee) and Jerryd Bayless (wrist) will not play against the Celtics on Saturday.

Covington suffered a knee sprain on Friday and did not return. He's off to a really bad start on the offensive side, making just 30.9 percent from the field. On the other band, his defense has kept him in the lineup, so he should have his job once he's healthy again. There's no word on the severity of his injury, so he's a hold in most leagues for now. Nik Stauskas will start while Hollis Thompson also benefits here.
Dec 3 - 5:49 PM

Mike Muscala is listed as the starter at power forward against the Raptors on Saturday.

In case you missed it, Paul Millsap (hip) is out again tonight. After the Hawks were crushed in the first half on Friday with Thabo Sefolosha at the four, Muscala is the favorite to start. He was awful with no points in his last start on Wednesday, but he should have a great chance to perform tonight.
Dec 3 - 5:30 PM

Isaiah Whitehead, Sean Kilpatrick, Bojan Bogdanovic, Anthony Bennett and Brook Lopez will start against the Bucks on Saturday.

The Nets are going to keep Rondae Hollis-Jefferson's minutes in check, so they'll start Kilpatrick for another game. With Trevor Booker out, the Nets defense will have its hands full tonight against the lengthy Bucks squad. Kilpatrick is worth owning in standard leagues right now.
