Paul George (flu) will play against the Nets on Sunday.

This comes as a surprise since he was doubtful to even travel with the team, according to reports earlier today. George has been a stud this year and is providing second-round value, so we wouldn't even think of benching him even though he's probably not at 100 percent.

P.J. Hairston left Tuesday's Summer League game vs. the Nets after sustaining a left shoulder contusion, and he will not return.

He took his fair share of bad shots before exiting the game, finishing with eight points on 3-of-9 shooting, to go with five rebounds, three assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and one turnover. The constant poor shot selection will find him on the bench in a hurry during the regular-season, and he's going to have trouble finding consistent minutes playing behind Troy Daniels and Nicolas Batum. His fantasy value is right around zero.

Unrestricted free agent Jason Smith has signed with the Orlando Magic.

The deal is reportedly a one-year, $4.3 million contract, but he'll have a tough time cracking the rotation in Orlando. In an ideal situation with the Knicks last season, Smith was only able to compile averages of 8.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He won't have any fantasy value in Orlando.
Jul 7 - 4:17 PM

Aaron Gordon had yet another solid showing during Tuesday's Summer League game vs. the Grizzlies, posting 22 points on 8-of-19 shooting, to go with three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, three blocks and five turnovers.

Gordon was also a perfect 3-of-3 from the charity stripe, and he continues to destroy the lesser competition at Summer League. He has clearly put a lot of work into this game this offseason, although he'll be fighting for minutes with Tobias Harris next season, which really limits his upside. Still, he could be worth a late-round flier in deep leagues in next year's fantasy drafts if he can keep up his play.
Jul 7 - 3:56 PM

Unrestricted free agent Wes Johnson is reportedly finalizing a deal that will land him with the Clippers.

Johnson will play backup minutes to Paul Pierce in Los Angeles, but as long as Pierce is healthy, Johnson won't have much fantasy value in standard leagues.
Jul 7 - 3:20 PM

Gerald Wallace has been traded to the Warriors for David Lee.

While the Warriors could use the stretch provision on Wallace, it’s being reported that they plan on keeping him. Wallace will bring a veteran presence to the Dubs’ championship locker room, but he’ll have plenty of games where he doesn’t even leave the bench. The change of scenery for Wallace will not have an affect upon his non-existent fantasy value.
Jul 7 - 3:01 PM

David Lee has reportedly been traded to the Celtics for Gerald Wallace.

While Lee will be joining a rather crowded frontcourt in Boston, he should still see a decent boost in value, as one of Boston's best offensive players down low. He doesn't do a whole lot aside from score and rebound, so he won't be worth much more than a late-round selection on draft day.
Jul 7 - 2:50 PM

Dante Exum (ankle) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Summer League game vs. the Spurs.

There's really no reason to risk further injury when playing in a Summer League game, so not much should be read into this. Exum's next opportunity to play will come on Thursday when the Jazz take on the Sixers. With Exum sidelined, Bryce Cotton and Olivier Hanlan will have more opportunity to prove their worth.
Jul 7 - 2:37 PM

Aaron Brooks has reportedly agreed to sign a one-year deal to return with the Bulls next season.

Brooks will make for a quality pickup if Derrick Rose goes down at any point during the 2015-16 season, but with Rose healthy, Brooks won't be worth owning in most leagues.
Jul 7 - 2:15 PM

The Pelicans have expressed interest in signing unrestricted free agent Carlos Boozer.

The Clippers, Spurs, Mavs, and Raptors are also said to be interested in signing the veteran, and it'll be interesting to see where he lands. For what it's worth, there's reportedly "mutual interest" between Boozer and the Clippers, so it would appear they’re the frontrunners to sign him right now. The Clippers would offer Boozer the greatest likelihood of starting, but because he doesn't do much aside from rebound and score, his fantasy value won't be very high regardless of where he winds up.
Jul 7 - 2:12 PM

Manu Ginobili has officially agreed to a two-year deal with the Spurs.

This was all but a formality after Ginobili wrote a lengthy blog post about his decision to come back, but his deal is for two years and $5.7 million with a player option, according to Shams Charania of RealGM. Ginobili will likely re-evaluate his desire to return for a 15th NBA season after the 2015-16 season is over, but he's not much of a fantasy asset outside of deeper leagues at this stage in his career.
Jul 7 - 11:29 AM

Marcus Smart hit 6-of-20 shots (2-of-10 3PTs, 12-of-13 FTs) for 26 points, five rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one block in Monday's preseason loss to the Jazz.

Smart looked like a man playing with boys out there and with all Summer League disclaimers aside, it does look like he had a productive summer. He'll have to vie for touches in the Celtics backcourt, but there should be enough to go around and Smart looks like a post-Hype guy heading into this season.
