Jeremy Lin (ankle) will play on Tuesday.

Despite spraining his ankle in Monday's practice, Lin is good to go on Tuesday. Lin has struggled recently, failing to shoot 50 percent from the floor in any of his last three games, but he has shown an ability to bounce back and is ready to try to do so on Tuesday.

Lance Thomas (concussion) has been cleared to play for Tuesday's game vs. the Wizards.

Thomas has spent the past two games on the sidelines, but he'll be back on the court tonight. However, he's not a fantasy option in most leagues while Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Williams are healthy.
Feb 9 - 6:19 PM

Noah Vonleh (ankle) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Rockets.

Vonleh's return could push Moe Harkless back to the bench, and is his value will take a significant hit with the return to the second-unit. Vonleh is averaging just 16 minutes per game as Portland's starting power forward and isn't worth owning in most leagues.
Feb 9 - 6:05 PM

Kyle Anderson (illness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game vs. the Heat.

With Anderson on the sidelines, there will be more minutes available for David West and Boris Diaw. None of these guys can be considered viable targets in standard leagues.
Feb 9 - 6:04 PM

Marc Gasol reportedly has a broken right foot and will be out indefinitely.

Oh man, the Grizzlies were initially calling this a foot sprain, but obviously the injury turned out to be much worse. Foot injuries for seven-footers are never good, and this could potentially be a season-ending injury for the Memphis big man. Jeff Green and Matt Barnes are going to see a minutes boost with Marc out, with Zach Randolph and Mike Conley being asked to do the heavy lifting on offense. Matt Barnes should be considered a must-add here. Brandan Wright (knee) also should be in the rotation once he gets back from his injury, although he's a wait-and-see guy in most formats.
Feb 9 - 5:53 PM

Jerryd Bayless (ankle) and O.J. Mayo (hamstring) will play Tuesday vs. the Celtics.

Bayless was probable heading into this one, so no surprises here. He's been playing well as of late, owning averages of 15.5 points, 3.5 assists and 3.5 three-pointers per game over the past week, and he's someone to consider stashing away in deep leagues with trade rumors swirling around Michael Carter-Williams.
Feb 9 - 5:25 PM

Derrick Rose (soreness) is expected to play Wednesday vs. Atlanta.

He's not on the team's injury report, and only missed Monday's game due to "soreness," so he should be out there. Rose owns a usage rate of 33.0 sans Jimmy Butler, so he's going to be a major part of everything Chicago does over the next 3-4 weeks with Butler (knee) on the sidelines. Kirk Hinrich will head back to the bench with Rose active.
Feb 9 - 5:09 PM

James Harden (finger) will play Tuesday vs. the Warriors.

Harden is not on the Rockets' injury report, and was a full participant during shootaround, so there's no reason to believe he'll miss Tuesday's matchup against the defending champs. Go ahead and get him active.
Feb 9 - 5:01 PM

The Clippers have suspended Blake Griffin (hand) for four games without pay for punching the team's assistant equipment manager, Mathias Testi.

That means that Blake will be required to miss four games once he's cleared to return to the court, which will be around mid-March, giving him a maximum of 17 games played in an ideal scenario. As previously stated, those fighting for a playoff spot in leagues without an IR-slot need to consider cutting Griffin. Wes Johnson has been putting up mid-round value in Blake's absence, with averages of 9.5 points, 2.0 three-pointers, 2.1 steals and 1.1 blocks per game, so he's worth a look in most leagues.
Feb 9 - 4:14 PM

The Pacers have reportedly reached out to the Hawks regarding a potential Jeff Teague, George Hill trade.

Teague's value could take a hit in Indiana as he'd be fighting for touches with Paul George and Monta Ellis on offense, so this wouldn't be an ideal landing spot for Jeff. The trade rumors have been swirling around Atlanta's Big Three, and it seems likely that at least one of the core players for the Hawks is dealt at the deadline. The Magic, Jazz and Knicks have also expressed interest in Teague, so Dennis Schroder needs to be stashed in most leagues at this point.

Pau Gasol has been named Jimmy Butler's (knee) replacement for the All-Star game.

While you could argue guys like Kyrie Irving and Kemba Walker were deserving of an All-Star bid, it's hard to argue against Pau. He's having another elite season with averages of 17.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.0 blocks per game.
Feb 9 - 2:50 PM

The Hawks are reportedly considering trading away their core players of Al Horford, Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague at the trade deadline.

The Hawks haven't been able to recapture the magic from last year's 60-win season, and it's clear that while they're a playoff team, they are no championship contender. Horford is in a contract year, and Atlanta may not be willing to sign him to a max-deal this offseason. The Magic, Celtics and Nuggets have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring Horford, and Atlanta is also listening to offers on Teague and Millsap.
