Byron Mullens (ankle) has been cleared to start running on a zero-gravity machine and do some shooting.

Mullens "terrible" and "severe" ankle injury has already kept him out for more than three weeks. The Bobcats still don't know when he'll be back, but the increased activity is certainly a positive sign. Once all the way back to 100 percent, the versatile 7-footer figures to re-take the starting power forward job from Hakim Warrick.

LeBron James said he'll be ready to go for Game 4 on Tuesday.

After dealing with some cramping during Sunday's Game 3 win over the Hawks, James said he'll be active on Tuesday night. James is averaging 32.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 10.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 three-pointers in the series thus far and will need another big game to close out the series if Kyrie Irving (knee) is unable to play. A nightly triple-double threat, James is a must-start in all fantasy lineups at this point.

Kyrie Irving (knee) was present at Tuesday's shootaround in advance of Game 4 against the Hawks.

Irving will likely be a game-time decision for Game 4 on Tuesday, but it's worth noting that he was wearing a red starter's jersey for the session. We'll keep an eye on updates leading up to tip off, while Matthew Dellavedova would see a boost in minutes if Irving is again unable to play.

Scott Skiles will be named the next head coach of the Orlando Magic this week, according to Peter Vecsey.

We'll wait for an official announcement before we mark this news as official, but Skiles has been considered the frontrunner for the job and looks to be Orlando-bound. We'll keep this item updated as soon as more information is available, but it looks like the Magic may have their next head coach.

Stephen Curry (head) said he's fine for Game 5 on Wednesday night.

He said he felt like he was "in the air for a long time" after being up-ended. Curry said he passed all concussion protocol including balance and exertion stress testing before his return. He said he was "in shock from the feeling of falling" in the second half, but he did say nothing has been worse since the incident. For now, Curry seems to be 100 percent for Game 5 on Wednesday.

James Harden took over during a Game 4 128-115 win over the Warriors on Monday, scoring a playoff career-high 45 points with nine rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks and seven 3-pointers in 40 minutes on 13-of-22 from the field.

He only attempted five two-pointers from outside of the restricted area, which has been the formula for success for Harden. Before the game, he said he had to attack more and he followed through with his own analysis. The Rockets have now won four consecutive games when facing elimination, but they'll need three more to advance to the NBA Finals. Also, his step-back 3-pointer to get to 45 points was cooler than a polar bear's toenails.
May 26 - 12:18 AM

Trevor Ariza scored 17 points against the Warriors on Monday with five rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

The Rockets needed everyone to step up, and that's what happened today. Terrence Jones scored 14 points with five rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer while Jason Terry added 10 points and four assists. Dwight Howard also had a nice game with 14 points, 12 rebounds, two steals, two blocks and three turnovers. This was also the first game ever in which both teams each made at least 15 treys. The Warriors also attempted 46 attempts from deep, which is also a record. Game 5 will be in Oakland on Wednesday.
May 26 - 12:07 AM

Josh Smith made 7-of-8 from the field and 3-of-12 from the line for 20 points against the Warriors on Monday, adding six rebounds, five assists, two blocks, six turnovers and three 3-pointers.

That's an effective field goal percentage of 106.3, but a true shooting percentage of 75.3 because of his awful foul shooting. Smith was on fire in the first quarter and scored 13 of his 20 in that frame. The Warriors did a Hack-A-Smoove late and it forced him out of the game. We saw the good and bad Smoove tonight, which is nothing new for any game. The Rockets will need another good game in Oakland on Wednesday.
May 25 - 11:55 PM

Klay Thompson scored 24 points during a 128-115 loss to the Rockets on Monday, adding three rebounds, two assists, two steals and six 3-pointers.

It looked like he was on his way to his biggest game of the postseason, but the Rockets did a better job of keeping Klay in check. The Rockets did seem to be focused more on Stephen Curry and that may help Thompson, but Klay didn't make many strides sans the MVP. We're still waiting for a big game and it could come on Wednesday. Thompson and Curry also set a record for most treys from a tandem in a single postseason.
May 25 - 11:46 PM

Draymond Green fouled out in 40 minutes against the Rockets on Monday, scoring 21 points with 15 rebounds, four assists, five blocks and two 3-pointers on 9-of-14 from the field.

He sprinted to the bench after his sixth foul and the Rockets fans gave him a nice little cheer. Green said seeing the Houston fans leave early in Game 3 was "the best feeling in the world" and tonight it was just a little different. He might have been Golden State's best player tonight and the Warriors are almost certainly going to match anything this offseason. He's a beast.
May 25 - 11:40 PM

Shaun Livingston started for Stephen Curry for the second half on Monday.

Curry has a head contusion and remains questionable to return. We'll be looking for any update as the game goes on. Livingston isn't much of a 3-point shooter, so expect the Warriors offense to change its flow. Klay Thompson is a good bet for his first 30-point game of the postseason.
May 25 - 10:33 PM

The NBA determined that it won't move up the NBA Finals and it will start on June 4, as expected.

It would have been nice to have less than a week off, but that's where we could be headed with two sweeps. The Warriors are likely going to host the Cavs for Game 1 on June 4, assuming the Rockets or Hawks don't become the first team to overcome a 3-0 deficit.
