Updating a previous post, Glen Davis will return to the starting lineup Wednesday night.

Davis said earlier today he was feeling no ill effects from his first game back after a shoulder injury sidelined him for 11 contests. Big Baby played 18 minutes in his return and Jacques Vaughn suggested his minutes could rise rapidly. With a return to the starting rotation, it's possible Davis will approach 30 minutes Wednesday. Rookie Andrew Nicholson will go back to coming off the bench.

Coach Dave Joerger said Skal Labissiere is closer to getting some consistent minutes.

Excluding the garbage time minutes from Saturday, Labissiere has been hanging in the low teens for minutes since the trade deadline. The Kings are using Kosta Koufos and Anthony Tolliver slightly more than expected, but that may change once the Kings fall out of the playoff race. Labissiere is someone to watch in deep leagues, but he still isn't stuffing the stat sheet outside of points and boards to add in standard leagues yet.

Arron Afflalo (hamstring) is probable to play Wednesday vs. the Nets.

Afflalo has spent the past three games on the sidelines, but it sounds like he'll get back out there tonight. Afflalo has no fantasy value, but his return to action could cut into Buddy Hield and Ben McLemore's minutes.

Deron Williams will make his Cleveland debut on Wednesday vs. Boston.

"Deron is going to have to run the offense and get us into some of our sets and pick up things quickly, which I know he can," Cavs coach Ty Lue said. "So, just having him here just to sustain leads when we get leads and having that veteran leadership on the floor is going to be big for us." Williams will have a limited role behind Kyrie Irving, so he won't be making an impact in most fantasy leagues now that he's playing for the Cavs.

Anthony Davis implied that Jrue Holiday will take on a more active role on offense with DeMarcus Cousins (suspension) unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Pistons.

Holiday has struggled to adjust to playing alongside both Cousins and Davis, but with Cousins (and his massive usage rate) set to watch Wednesday's game from the sidelines, Holiday will be the clear-cut No. 2 option on offense and he could have a big game against one of the worst teams in the league at defending the point guard position. Holiday is certainly on the DFS radar tonight.
Mar 1 - 12:51 PM

Wesley Matthews is getting diagnostic testing done on his injured hip in Dallas on Wednesday.

Matthews obviously won't be playing Wednesday vs. the Hawks, but it's worth noting that Rick Carlisle said he doesn't believe Matthews' injury is all that serious, so these tests seem more precautionary than anything else. For now, we'll be considering Matthews questionable for Friday's game against the Grizzlies. Dorian Finney-Smith will draw the start in his place tonight, and it'll be Seth Curry, Harrison Barnes and Dirk Nowitzki running the show on offense.
Mar 1 - 12:22 PM

Dorian Finney-Smith will move back into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Hawks, with Wesley Matthews (hip) unavailable.

Head coach Rick Carlisle said he was planning on bringing Nerlens Noel into the starting five, but Noel was late for their flight to Atlanta, so he'll go with Finney-Smith instead. With Matthews out tonight, Seth Curry, Harrison Barnes and Dirk Nowitzki will all see a usage bump, and those three guys are much more attractive targets than Finney-Smith. Noel will lose his opportunity to start as a punishment, but he's still expected to get out there.
Mar 1 - 12:07 PM

Willie Reed (ankle) will not suit up for Wednesday's game against the 76ers.

"He's making progress. He's getting better," said head coach Erik Spoelstra of Reed, "but not ready for the court yet." This will be Reed's second straight game on the sidelines, and given that he was only able to ride a stationary bike during Wednesday morning's shootaround, we're going to consider him doubtful for Friday's game in Orlando until we hear otherwise. Hassan Whiteside and James Johnson will pick up some extra minutes with Reed out tonight.
Mar 1 - 11:50 AM

Willy Hernangomez (ankle) will not suit up for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

Hernangomez was doubtful heading into this one, so it's not very surprising at all to see him ruled out. The Knicks play again on Friday in Philadelphia, and for now, we'll be considering him questionable for that one. With Hernangomez out, Kyle O'Quinn will draw the start, and Marshall Plumlee could see some limited minutes off the bench. O'Quinn is the guy you want to target sans Willy.
Mar 1 - 11:00 AM

Kyle O'Quinn will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Magic, with Willy Hernangomez (ankle) unavailable.

With Marshall Plumlee as the only other healthy center on the roster for Wednesday's game, there's a chance O'Quinn could flirt with minutes in the 30s tonight, so he's certainly someone to consider as a streamer or low-budget DFS play. Kristaps Porzingis could also spend some time at the five, so he too figures to see heavy minutes with Joakim Noah (knee) and Hernangomez out.
Mar 1 - 11:00 AM

Kristaps Porzingis (ankle) will play Wednesday vs. the Magic.

Porzingis said on Tuesday that he was planning to play today, and now we have official confirmation from head coach Jeff Hornacek. Joakim Noah (knee) and Willy Hernangomez (ankle) will both be unavailable for Wednesday night's game, so Porzingis could be forced into heavy minutes tonight. Go ahead and get him active.
Mar 1 - 10:55 AM

The Warriors will sign Matt Barnes for the rest of the season in the wake of Kevin Durant's left knee injury that might cost him the rest of the regular season.

The Warriors will reportedly sign Jose Calderon, as promised, and then waive him to make room for Barnes, who will be signed for the rest of the season, and not just a 10-day contract. Barnes is being brought in to replace KD and while those are some huge shoes to fill, it will allow the Warriors to potentially slot Barnes into the starting lineup immediately without disrupting the rest of their lineup and rotation. "It's a dream come true!" Barnes said. "I feel like I helped start something in '07, and now I'm coming back to help finish it." If your waiver wire is bare and you just lost Durant, grabbing Barnes might be the best option available to you right now. He's expected to be officially signed some time later in the week, so it's unknown exactly when he'll make his latest Warriors' debut.
