Pau Gasol (concussion) may return off the bench if he plays against the Heat on Thursday.

Gasol and Mike D'Antoni talked about easing the big man back in, but it doesn't appear a decision has been made. If Gasol is cleared to play and comes off the bench, it would likely either Earl Clark (flu-like symptoms) or Antawn Jamison would start at power forward. The Lakers could also choose to start Darius Morris at shooting guard, Kobe Bryant at small forward and Metta World Peace at power forward.

Shaun Livingston (hand) and Matt Barnes (ankle) will not play in Game 4 vs. the Blazers on Monday.

Livingston has been out for a week, but if the Warriors sweep the series against Portland tonight he will get another 5-7 days to rest up for Round 2. Ian Clark will pick up the backup PG minutes again.
Apr 24 - 8:43 PM

Kevin Durant (calf) will play in Monday's Game 4 vs. the Blazers.

After sitting out the past two games as a precaution, it's a great sign to see KD returning even though the Warriors have a comfortable 3-0 series lead. Durant practiced over the weekend with no problems, but it's possible that the Warriors keep an eye on his minutes tonight. Patrick McCaw will head back to the bench and there will be less touches to go around for the other studs in Golden State.
Apr 24 - 8:42 PM

Gordon Hayward (food poisoning) is not on the injury report for Game 5 vs. the Clippers on Tuesday.

According to the report, only Alec Burks (knee) will be unavailable Tuesday. Hayward left Sunday's game after just nine minutes and was nowhere close to 100 percent, but we'll have a better idea of how he's feeling after the Tuesday morning shootaround. With Hayward likely back, Joe Johnson and Joe Ingles will lose a bit of appeal.
Apr 24 - 8:06 PM

Kyle Lowry (back) is a go for Monday's Game 5 against the Bucks.

Lowry was never in any real danger of sitting this one out, and it's unlikely he'll have any sort of minutes limit for tonight's pivotal Game 5. Joining Lowry in the starting five will be DeMar DeRozan, DeMarre Carroll, Norman Powell and Serge Ibaka.
Apr 24 - 6:17 PM

Khris Middleton (illness) will play in Monday's Game 5 against the Raptors.

Middleton skipped shootaround, but he was never expected to miss tonight's game. Jason Kidd will stick with the same starting group tonight featuring Malcolm Brogdon, Tony Snell, Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Thon Maker.
Apr 24 - 5:40 PM

Kyle Lowry (back) said he is feeling much better, but he remains a game-time decision for Monday's Game 5 matchup with the Bucks.

Lowry was limited at shootaround, but all indications are that he'll take the court tonight for a crucial Game 5 in Toronto. Check back for official confirmation closer to tip-off.
Apr 24 - 5:21 PM

Doc Rivers confirmed that Austin Rivers (hamstring) will play with a minutes limit in Game 5 against the Jazz on Tuesday.

Rivers hasn't taken the court since March 29, so his minutes will likely be in the lower-20s on Tuesday night. Raymond Felton will likely lose some minutes with Rivers back in the rotation.
Apr 24 - 5:15 PM

James Harden (ankle) said that he will play in Tuesday's Game 5 against the Thunder.

"Got some treatment and I'll be ready to go tomorrow," Harden said before Monday's practice. "It's the playoffs, everybody is banged up so you just got to find a way to fight through it and find a way to help your teammates win games. For me, it's not necessarily scoring, I don't have to score a certain amount of points as long as I'm making the right plays and guys are getting shots everybody is in a good rhythm that's all that matters."

Rajon Rondo (thumb) will not play in Game 5 against the Celtics on Wednesday.

Rondo has shed his cast, and Fred Hoiberg hasn't yet ruled him out for the series, but he won't be taking the court on Wednesday night. Isaiah Canaan will get the start in Game 5, and he'll be someone to consider in DFS.
Apr 24 - 3:58 PM

Isaiah Canaan will replace Jerian Grant in the starting lineup for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics.

Grant wasn't giving Chicago anything as their starting point guard, so he might fall out of the rotation entirely on Wednesday night. As for Canaan, he looked pretty good through 34 minutes on Sunday, posting 13 points, three triples, three dimes, two boards and two steals, so he might be someone to consider as a potential punt play in daily leagues.
Apr 24 - 3:49 PM

Shaun Livingston (hand) and Matt Barnes (ankle) went through shootaround, but both remain questionable to play Monday vs. Portland.

Livingston has had a full seven days to rest up his bruised hand, so he has to be close to getting back to the court. Barnes also should be close after spending a little over two weeks on the sidelines, and if both these guys are able to get back to the floor tonight, there will be fewer minutes available for Patrick McCaw and Ian Clark. Stay tuned.
