Tyson Chandler scored 10 points on 3-of-4 shooting to go along with 14 rebounds and two blocks Thursday afternoon in London.

Chandler likely could have had more but Mike Woodson limited him to 30 minutes due to a mysterious illness that had dogged him in recent days. He continues to have a fantastic season and should be started in all leagues.

Derrick Rose has agreed to join the Cavaliers according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.

He completed his physical exam on Monday and is expected to sign a one-year, $2.1 million minimum deal. This will give him a chance to compete for a title next to LeBron James and build his market value back up for the Summer of 2018. Assuming the Cavaliers meet Kyrie Irving's trade request, Rose will have a shot to start at PG on opening night unless they bring in a rumored target such as Eric Bledsoe. Despite averaging 18.0 points and 4.4 assists last season, his fantasy appeal is low due to a lack of 3-pointers and steals.

Derrick Rose is meeting with the Cavaliers on Monday.

Rose met with the Lakers on Friday and it's worth noting that they can offer him more money, but ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Cavaliers are his top choice. The two sides are engaged in "serious discussions" on a one-year, $2.1 million minimum deal, and it sounds like a deal could be reached sooner rather than later. A move to Cleveland would make some sense for Rose, as he could revitalize his market value playing alongside LeBron James and could potentially be the starting PG if Kyrie Irving's demand for a trade is met.

The Hawks have claimed Nicolas Brussino off waivers.

The Mavs didn't bring him back, but the Hawks will likely be giving him a chance to make the team. Brussino did play well in Las Vegas Summer League and the Hawks do need another forward on their roster. He still may not be in the rotation.

According to Ian Begley of ESPN, the Knicks have "strong interest" in trading for Kyrie Irving, but they are not willing to include Kristaps Porzingis in any potential deal.

Unlike Phil Jackson, the Knicks new front office tandem of president Steve Mills and GM Scott Perry are not even considering moving Porzingis. They intend to build the franchise around New York's prized unicorn. However, Begley does report that the Knicks would consider including Carmelo Anthony and future first-round picks in a package for Irving. As the rumors surrounding Kyrie continue to swirl, the Knicks will definitely be in the mix.

Regarding the Kyrie Irving trade demands, the Cavs were given four preferred landing spots: New York, Miami, San Antonio and Minnesota.

And this is the NBA offseason. It sounds like Irving is legitimate in his demands and not wanting to live under LeBron James' shadow. This is basically the third day of the "offseason" in the NBA, but it looks like chaos is in store for the Cavs this offseason -- maybe they should've brought their GM back. Expect a ton of Kyrie Irving rumors this summer.

Pau Gasol has agreed on a three-year deal to return to the Spurs.

There is only a partial guarantee on the third year of this deal for the Spaniard. It's a nice deal for the 37-year-old big man, and he should be in a similar role. There was some talk of the Spurs going smaller with Rudy Gay (Achilles) now in the mix, but now they'll have to work in LaMarcus Aldridge and Gasol to their frontcourt rotation.

Kyrie Irving asked the Cavs to trade him in a meeting last week, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Oh boy. "Irving has expressed that he wants to go play in a situation where he can be a more focal point and no longer wants to play alongside LeBron James," the report says. This comes off the heels of Irving saying things are "very peculiar" in Cleveland at an SI event earlier this week. The Cavs may be having the worst offseason possible and this can't be a good look to keep LeBron James next season. There's really no way to spin this positively for the Cavs.
Jul 21 - 3:44 PM

Derrick Rose and the Lakers had a meeting for about three hours on Thursday, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN.com.

The report adds that both sides feel good about it -- #WentWell, of course. Rose is expected to have more meetings this weekend with the Cavs as the toughest competition. There's a good chance Rose can play some shooting guard for both of these teams, but the Lakers will likely be offering more of a scoring opportunity.
Jul 20 - 7:49 PM

The Lakers will meet with free agent PG Derrick Rose on Thursday.

The Cavaliers have reportedly offered Rose a one-year deal worth anywhere from $2.1 to $2.5 million, while the Lakers can offer a $4.3M exception. It's no secret that they want to bring in a veteran to mentor Lonzo Ball, and ESPN's Ramona Shelburne said the Lakers believe "they can offer more playing time in a better environment after his tumultuous year in New York." While no deal is imminent, it seems like the Cavaliers and the Lakers are the frontrunners to sign Rose, while the Bucks are fading from view.
Jul 20 - 1:49 PM

Troy Williams has agreed to a 3-year deal to stay with the Houston Rockets.

The first year of the deal is fully guaranteed, but he will have to earn the second and third seasons. Williams played well in stints with the Rockets and Grizzlies last season, but he really made an impression in Vegas during the Summer League with averages of 22.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.2 steals and 2.4 treys. The 22-year-old wing looks like he's ready to contribute next season, so he'll be in the mix to fill the void left by Sam Dekker.
Jul 20 - 1:13 PM

Derrick Rose is in "serious talks" with the Cavaliers on a one-year deal according to ESPN.

Rose is the top free agent PG left on the market, but he's drawn very little interest so far. The Bucks were considered a potential suitor last week, but the two sides weren't able to schedule a meeting for reasons unknown. Rose would be an odd fit in Cleveland because they already have Kyrie Irving, but it's at least worth noting that Irving excels off the ball. In order to join the Cavs, Rose would have to take a discount because they can only offer a portion of the taxpayer midlevel exception (up to $2.5 million) or a veteran's minimum deal according to Jeff Zilgitt of USA Today.
