Stephen Curry (ankle) appears doubtful to play on Friday, but the Warriors are officially listing him as game-time call.

Curry did not go through shootaround and beat writer Marcus Thompson tweeted that Curry will not play. He didn't practice on Thursday, and Mark Jackson said that "we brought (Jarrett) Jack in here for a reason. I'm very comfortable with the ball in his hands and his ability to run this team." After a report on Thursday that Curry was out indefinitely, it would be a monumental surprise to see him play on Friday. Expect Jack to start.

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said Kawhi Leonard (hand) remains out indefinitely.

Popovich played coy by saying that Leonard could come back tomorrow, two weeks from now, or even beyond that. Besides the vague statement, Pop did add that Leonard can't injure himself any further, so there is a good chance we see him back on the court sooner rather than later. In the meantime, Manu Ginobili, Kyle Anderson, and Marco Belinelli will continue to see a boost in their fantasy value.
Dec 25 - 1:18 PM

Patty Mills (shoulder) has been cleared to resume basketball activities, but still isn't close to playing in a game.

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said Mills was cleared to practice two days ago, but Mills isn't expected to see game action until mid-January, at the earliest. He'll only be worth a look by owners in deeper leagues, at least as long as Tony Parker is somewhat healthy.
Dec 25 - 1:14 PM

Thunder head coach Scott Brooks has confirmed Kevin Durant (ankle) as out for Thursday's game against the Spurs.

Durant wasn't expected to play on Thursday, but this news puts an end to any speculation. "He could not go if he wanted to go," Brooks said. The Thunder play the Hornets on Saturday, but Brooks' statement puts Durant's availability in doubt for that game as well. Russell Westbrook and Reggie Jackson should see the biggest boost on Thursday with Durant out.
Dec 25 - 1:11 PM

Amare Stoudemire (knee) will play against the Wizards on Christmas Day.

Updating a previous item, Stoudemire will indeed suit up against the Wizards on Christmas Day. The Knicks may try to limit his minutes as he's been dealing with knee soreness, but his fantasy owners can feel free to fire up STAT against the Wizards. Cole Aldrich will return to the bench with Stoudemire active.
Dec 25 - 11:59 AM

J.R. Smith (heel) will miss Thursday's game against the Wizards.

Smith went through pre-game warmups, but wasn't feeling well enough to suit up for the Knicks' Christmas Day game against the Wizards. Tim Hardaway Jr. will pickup Smith's minutes and makes for a solid play on Thursday.
Dec 25 - 11:14 AM

J.R. Smith (heel) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Wizards, according to head coach Derek Fisher.

Updating a previous item, it seems as if Smith is feeling well enough to be upgraded from doubtful to a game-time decision. This one looks like it will come down to the wire, but Tim Hardaway Jr. would be the biggest fantasy beneficiary if Smith sits.
Dec 25 - 10:30 AM

Amare Stoudemire (knee) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Wizards.

Stoudemire is dealing with a knee injury due to his early-season workload, according to Knicks head coach Derek Fisher. We'll update his status as more information becomes available, but Cole Aldrich and Quincy Acy would be in line for more minutes if STAT can't play on Christmas Day.
Dec 25 - 10:27 AM

J.R. Smith (heel) is likely to miss Thursday's game against the Wizards.

Smith had been hoping to play on Christmas Day, but the last two days of practice didn't go as well as he and the Knicks had hoped. "Right now it’s a no," Smith said of his availability for Thursday. "We’ll see how the treatment reacts today, if it swells up." We'll update his status prior to tip-off, but Tim Hardaway Jr. will be in line for big minutes on Thursday if Smith can't play.
Dec 25 - 9:44 AM

Kawhi Leonard (hand) has been listed as out for Thursday's game against the Thunder.

There was some optimism that he would play on Christmas, but it doesn't look like it. Leonard's damage to his hand doesn't sound too serious and hopefully he can make it back on the court at some point in 2014. Kyle Anderson will start, but Manu Ginobili, Boris Diaw and Marco Belinelli are benefiting the most.

Dec 24 - 5:30 PM

Lance Stephenson (hip) will not play against the Thunder on Friday.

He is not close to a return and coach Steve Clifford isn't exactly Lance's biggest fan. He is one of the least efficient players in the NBA and his defense has fallen off, too. Stephenson isn't necessarily a must-own player anymore. Gary Neal, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Gerald Henderson will benefit.
Dec 24 - 5:19 PM

Kevin Durant (ankle) is listed as out for Thursday's game against the Spurs.

The team could change his status tomorrow, but for now he's not expected to play. This is a bit of a surprise considering the team called it a mild sprain and his owners will want to check back tomorrow morning to see if he goes through shootaround. For now, Russell Westbrook and Reggie Jackson benefit.
