Gerald Henderson (back) is a game-time decision to face the Kings on Saturday.

His back "locked up" on him in Friday's game and he couldn't finish the game. Henderson dealt with back problems last year as well as at Duke, so his owners might want to prepare for him to miss this game. Jeff Taylor will likely get the start while Ben Gordon and Ramon Sessions could also see some extra playing time.

Damian Lillard scored a game-high 26 points during a 100-86 win over the Pacers on Thursday, adding five rebounds, eight assists, one block and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

It's safe to say he's back as he's driving more and getting to the line more frequently, too. Since his return on Jan. 10, Lillard averaged 26.0 points, 4.6 boards, 7.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.2 treys on 47.8 percent from the field and 88.6 percent from the line -- 7.0 attempts per game from the charity stripe, too. His fantasy owners can probably expect him to flirt with top-10 value the rest of the way, especially with the Blazers in the thick of the playoff race.
Jan 19 - 12:53 AM

Jusuf Nurkic scored 19 points with 17 rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 32 minutes against the Pacers on Thursday.

It's a much-needed Nurk Alert after two terrible games in favorable matchups against the Suns and Wolves, averaging just 8.5 points, 6.0 boards and 1.0 blocks in 21.0 minutes per game. On the positive side, Nurkic is finally making his shots from the field at 52.0 percent from the field this month before his 8-of-14 tonight (57.1 percent). He still has some major work to do to meet his ADP price, but things are looking up right now.
Jan 19 - 12:48 AM

Shabazz Napier scored 13 points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes against the Pacers on Thursday.

Coach Terry Stotts said he was going to try to get Napier more minutes and he kept his word. We've seen the Blazers go with more Napier before and he was able to get to minutes in the upper 20s even when Dame Lillard was healthy back in a late-November stretch. Napier probably won't be a difference-making add in most leagues, but give him a look if you need a point guard.
Jan 19 - 12:40 AM

James Harden (hamstring) returned on Thursday against the Wolves, making 3-of-15 from the field for 10 points with two rebounds, seven assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.

He was expected to play 24-25 minutes and didn't quite look like himself, which is expected after missing the last seven games. Harden's stints were shortened as he had his lightest first-quarter playing time in any game over of the last two seasons. Coach Mike D'Antoni even called Harden "rusty" during his in-game interview to start the fourth. Rust aside, it won't be long until Harden is posting massive numbers.
Jan 19 - 12:11 AM

Eric Gordon scored a team-high 30 points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and seven 3-pointers against the Wolves on Thursday.

It was the seventh time he's led the Rockets in scoring this year and he hit a buzzer-beating heave to cap a strong third. He was able to replace James Harden's rough night and may have also benefitted from Harden being limited in his return. Gordon's numbers have been a little worse when both Harden and Chris Paul are 100 percent, so games like this one will be few and far between going forward now that both studs are back. He's a sell-high player again.
Jan 19 - 12:09 AM

Karl-Anthony Towns went off during a 116-98 loss to the Rockets on Thursday, scoring 22 points with 16 rebounds, three assists, two steals, five blocks, no turnovers and one 3-pointer in 37 minutes.

He was 10-of-19 from the field and made just 1-of-7 from deep, so it was offensive domination inside for KAT. Towns continues to lead the NBA in double-doubles while he's steadily climbing in blocks, tying for fourth in the NBA for total swats on the season. Thanks to his durability, KAT currently sits at No. 1 for total value in nine-category leagues so far this season.
Jan 19 - 12:00 AM

LeBron James scored 16 points with five rebounds, six assists, one steal, six turnovers and one foul in 35 minutes against the Magic during a 104-103 win.

He had one of the most ridiculous passes you'll ever see as he did a no-look, behind-the-back, nutmeg pass for a layup (video in link below). Besides that, James didn't play well with all those turnovers, making 2-of-8 from the line, and lots of mistakes. The Cavs almost blew this game and almost dropped their fifth straight, and LeBron commented on that after the game. "We're in Strugglesville," he said. In other news, LeBron was named an All-Star captain today.
Jan 18 - 10:48 PM

Aaron Gordon scored 17 points during a 104-103 loss to the Cavs on Thursday, adding 11 rebounds, two assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

He did not start the second half, but he came in after just one minute into the third quarter -- you can feel free to guess why. Gordon has really struggled with his jumper since his return from injury on Dec. 28, making just 28.7 percent of his 115 attempts, which explains why he's made just 39.2 percent from the field over those 10. Either way, Gordon continues to fill it up and he should be able to climb into the mid-40s for FG% soon enough.
Jan 18 - 10:32 PM

Elfrid Payton scored 19 points with four rebounds, eight assists, one block, two steals and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes against the Cavs on Thursday.

He's been boom or bust lately, but Payton has finally found his mojo over his last dozen games. In that span, he averaged 16.1 points, 4.5 boards, 6.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.6 treys on 54.2 percent from the field and 78.0 percent from the line. Not coincidentally, Nikola Vucevic (hand) went down 12 games ago, so that may explain his recent improvement. Keep him rolling, though.
Jan 18 - 10:28 PM

Joel Embiid matched his career-high 16 rebounds in an 89-80 win over the Celtics on Thursday, adding 26 points, six assist, one steal, two blocks and four turnovers in 35 minutes.

The Process got his wish to be an All-Star today and he probably has a couple things in store on Twitter later tonight. Although, he did pull his version of the "you're not breaking up with me, I'm breaking up with you" line after the game when he said he's on to the next one after Rihanna. Additional good news for Embiid is the team is hopeful to drop his back-to-back restriction, so that'll be something to watch for the back-to-back set on Jan. 28-29. Embiid was also looking at his right hand a couple times in this game, so that may still not be right.
Jan 18 - 10:03 PM

T.J. McConnell scored 15 points with two rebounds, two assists, three steals and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Celtics on Thursday.

He looks to be the winner from the J.J. Redick injury and he should play down the stretch most nights, assuming someone else isn't hot. McConnell was very efficient in this game with his 5-of-8 shooting line, so he probably won't be getting into the teens too often. The 76ers play every other day until their back-to-back starts on Jan. 28, so McConnell is worth a look if you need a boost at PG for the next 11 days while Redick is on the shelf.
