Stephen Curry (ankle) is doing on-court work with the training staff before Saturday's game against the Hornets.

He's also trying to talk coach Mark Jackson into letting him play. This hardly means Curry will give it a go, but it does indicate he has some chance to play. He missed two games with his oft-injured ankle and he's likely going to be a game-time decision. Jarrett Jack should be owned in all leagues.

Updating a previous report, Kyle Lowry said he will suit up for Friday's game vs. the Hornets.

Mar 6 - 12:10 PM

Mario Chalmers is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Wizards.

It's unclear exactly what ailment he's dealing with at the moment, but if he's unable to go, Shabazz Napier would see extended minutes off the bench. Tyler Johnson could also have some more opportunity for minutes in the rotation.
Mar 6 - 12:07 PM

Chris Andersen (illness) was withheld from Friday's shootaround, and he's being listed as questionable for tonight's game against the Wizards.

If Andersen is unable to go, Hassan Whiteside is going to get all the minutes he can handle, and Udonis Haslem may be forced to play some extended minutes.
Mar 6 - 12:06 PM

Luol Deng (thigh) did not go through shootaround, and he is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. Washington.

If Deng is unable to go, James Ennis, Michael Beasley, and Henry Walker will all have the opportunity to see some increased minutes. Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic would also be asked to carry the offensive load, and they would make for quality plug-and-play options in daily leagues. Stay tuned.
Mar 6 - 12:00 PM

Kyle Lowry went through shootaround Friday morning, and according to beat reporter Josh Lewenberg, there's a good chance he suits up for Friday's game vs. the Hornets.

We'll continue to monitor this situation closely, but if Lowry is able to return to action on Friday, Greivis Vasquez would likely return to the bench and his value would take a sizable hit. Hopefully the time off gave Lowry the time to recover, and he can get back to the way he was playing at the beginning of the season. Stay tuned.
Mar 6 - 11:56 AM

James Jones has emerged as a role player in Cleveland's rotation, and over the past four games he has put in averages 9.8 points and 2.8 three-pointers through 22 minutes of action.

Jones has seen his role increased with Shawn Marion (hip) sitting on the sidelines, but he really doesn't do much aside from drain 3-pointers. It also should be noted that his value could take a hit once Marion does return to the lineup, so while Jones is worth a look as a 3-point specialist in deep leagues, know that his time as a rotation player in Cleveland could be short-lived.
Mar 6 - 10:55 AM

Robert Covington (elbow) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Covington has been forced to spend the past two games on the sidelines after suffering a right elbow bruise during Sunday's game against Indiana. If he is again forced to sit JaKarr Sampson will start, but with averages of just 6.8 points and 1.1 steals per game with the starting unit, he's not a viable option in most leagues. Jason Richardson and Isaiah Canaan will likely do the heavy lifting on offense.

Magic head coach James Borrego said he was unsure if Evan Fournier (hip) and Luke Ridnour (hamstring) will be available for Friday's game vs. the Kings.

If Fournier is unable to go it will be his fourth straight game on the sidelines, and with Luke Ridnour (hamstring) also looking doubtful, Victor Oladipo and Tobias Harris will again be asked to log heavy minutes. Stay tuned.
Mar 6 - 10:04 AM

Head coach Steve Clifford said that Mo Williams will remain with the starting unit upon Kemba Walker's (knee) return.

"We’re going to play them together," Clifford said. "We need to get [Walker] back as soon as we can, and then we’ll make an adjustment on the fly to play those guys together." With Williams set to remain with the starting unit, Gerald Henderson will likely head to the bench where he'll embrace a sixth man role with the team. Lance Stephenson is currently behind Henderson in the rotation, so he could find difficulty leaving the bench when Walker does return.
Mar 6 - 9:16 AM

Kemba Walker (knee) is hopeful he'll be able to return for Wednesday's game against the Kings.

When Walker does return, head coach Steve Clifford said that he will pair him and Mo Williams in the back court, a move that would likely send Gerald Henderson back to the bench. Walker let it be known that he's excited to work alongside Williams in the starting unit. "He makes so many plays," Walker said of Williams. "He’s so smart; he knows when to shoot and when to pass. You can see it in his numbers; he’s had some huge assist games."
Mar 6 - 9:10 AM

The x-rays taken on Devin Harris' right hand following Thursday's game vs. the Blazers came back clean, and he has been diagnosed with a bruise on the top side of his hand between the thumb and index finger.

"I was dribbling under the basket and [Robin] Lopez kind of took a whack at the ball and hit me in an awkward spot," Harris said. "There’s a little bit of pain. I can’t really move it." We'll be considering Harris on the doubtful side of the questionable tag for Friday's game against the Warriors, and if he is indeed unable to go, there will be more minutes for J.J. Barea and Raymond Felton. Stay tuned.
