Stephen Curry (ankle) is doing on-court work with the training staff before Saturday's game against the Hornets.

He's also trying to talk coach Mark Jackson into letting him play. This hardly means Curry will give it a go, but it does indicate he has some chance to play. He missed two games with his oft-injured ankle and he's likely going to be a game-time decision. Jarrett Jack should be owned in all leagues.

The Knicks are planning to meet with unrestricted free agent Robin Lopez in Los Angeles.

A New York Lopez rivalry? The Knicks were gashed in the paint last year and could use a guy like Lopez to help them on the glass. He's much more durable than his brother, but Robin isn't quite the offensive presence.

Jonas Jerebko will sign a two-year, $10 million deal with the Celtics.

Apparently his awful four postseason games against the Cavs didn't matter. Jerebko did come on down the stretch during the regular season and even put up a 16-point game in the finale, but this big of a contract is a slight surprise.
Jul 1 - 3:42 PM

Restricted free agent Kyle Singler has agreed to a five-year, $25 million deal with the Thunder.

There aren't many players getting five-year deals and Singler is one of the bigger surprises. Chances are this is a cap-friendly deal for a guy who might not even be in the rotation. The last year of this deal is a team option.
Jul 1 - 3:37 PM

The Warriors and restricted free agent Draymond Green have broken off contract talks.

The Warriors met with Green and his agent, B.J. Armstrong, in Los Angeles after 12:01 a.m. EDT. Green has likely earned a max deal and Tristan Thompson getting around $80 million is going to strengthen the case for Draymond, too. The Warriors are still likely to match any deal.

Tyson Chandler has agreed to a deal with the Suns worth $52 million over four years.

Well, we have our first surprise of the day. Additionally, the Suns are going to bring Chandler to their meeting with LaMarcus Aldridge. The Suns had some issues with center because Alex Len just couldn't stay healthy, but now they have two terrific rim protectors. Len is no longer a fantasy sleeper for next year while Chandler should be a double-double guy with blocks in an up-tempo style. Of course, the Suns signing a 32-year-old big man to a four-year deal carries some serious risk.
Jul 1 - 3:15 PM

The Suns and Brandon Knight have agreed on a five-year, $70 million deal.

The Suns now have two guards with five-year, $70 million deals with Eric Bledsoe getting one last year. Coach Jeff Hornacek has been a fan of two-PG lineups, but both guys are more than capable of being shooting guards. However, both are sub-par passers and it'll be interesting to see if Knight can build off his breakout 2014-15 season.
Jul 1 - 2:58 PM

The Grizzlies and Mo Williams have been in contact regarding a contract.

There are some reports that Williams is getting close to a three- or four-year deal with Memphis. The Cavs were reportedly close on Mo, but it sounds like the Grizzlies have a decent chance.
Jul 1 - 2:43 PM

Kevin Love announced he will return to the Cavs and accept a five-year, $110 million deal.

"After Game 1 of the NBA Finals, that’s when it really struck me. Sitting on the sidelines, I never wanted to play in a game more than that one," Love said on his Players' Tribune article. "I had dreamed of playing in the NBA Finals and I just wanted to help my guys win. I couldn’t have been prouder of them as they poured their blood, sweat and tears onto the court." The Cavs are spending all sorts of money to get the band back together, so expect LeBron's deal to happen in the near future. Love will be worth a second or third round pick in fantasy leagues next year.
Jul 1 - 2:33 PM

The Cavs and Tristan Thompson are nearing a deal worth $80 million.

It seems like just yesterday Thompson was changing his shooting hand and struggling to get playing time. Thanks to being arguably the best rebounder in the postseason this summer, Thompson has set himself up for a big pay check. Presumably, this will be a five-year deal.
Jul 1 - 2:32 PM

Jimmy Butler is finalizing a max deal with the Bulls worth $95 million over five years.

The other teams after Butler have given up, so the Bulls have their man. There were some rumblings of Butler being worried about it being "Derrick Rose's team" and that will have to be something to watch. Butler led the NBA in minutes per game last season and was the eighth-best player in fantasy per game. He could be even better next year.
Jul 1 - 2:24 PM

Alexis Ajinca will sign a four-year, $20.2 million deal to remain with the Pelicans.

Ajinca was a solid option off the bench for the Pelicans last season with averages of 6.5 points, 4.6 boards and 0.8 blocks in just 14.1 minutes per game, so this deal was a great value. It's possible that Omer Asik leaves in free agency, so Ajinca could be pressed into a larger role if that is the case.
